Libanonski predsjednik Michel Aoun u petak je kazao da će istraga o najvećoj eksploziji u povijesti Bejruta ispitati je li njezin uzrok bomba ili neko drugo strano djelovanje.

"Uzrok eksplozije još uvijek nije utvrđen. Postoji mogućnost strane umiješanosti raketom, bombom ili nečim drugim", kazao je predsjednik Aoun.

Rekao je i da će se pokušati utvrditi da li je do eksplozije došlo zbog nemara ili se radi o nesretnom slučaju. Ranije je predsjednik potvrdio da je visoko eksplozivni materijal godinama bio uskladišten u luci u neadekvatnim uvjetima, bez zaštitnih mjera.

Prvi rezultati istrage su, rekao je neimenovani izvor, ukazivali na nemar.

SAD je rekao da ne isključuje napad, a Izrael je odmah nakon događaja objavio da nema ništa s eksplozijom u bejrutskoj luci, negirajući bilo kakvu ulogu u razornoj eksploziji u kojoj je poginulo 154 ljudi, a oko 5000 je ozlijeđeno. 

Materijalna šteta koju je prouzročila eksplozija seizmičkih razmjera, uključujući tu i poslovne gubitke koji će uslijediti u postojećoj situaciji, mogli bi narasti do 15 milijardi američkih dolara.

Gospodarstvo Libanona prolazi kroz tešku krizu, valuta je u slobodnom padu, dugovi ne prestaju rastu, a Libanonci još od listopada prošle godine prosvjeduju protiv političke kaste i okrivljuju ih za loše upravljanje zemljom i državnu korupciju koja ne jenjava više desetljeća.

Na prosvjed su izašli i jučer tijekom posjeta francuskog predsjednika Emmanuela Macrona i zatražili od njega da im pomogne da se "oslobode sadašnje vlasti i Hezbolaha", proiranskog šijitskog pokreta.

Vlada Hasana Diaba, formirana u siječnju 2020. i predstavljena kao kabinet tehnokrata, na udaru je kritika da je podređena stranci predsjednika Michela Aouna, Slobodnom domoljubnom pokretu, i njegovom neuništivom savezniku Hezbolahu (Božja stranka).

Libanonski predsjednik Michel Aoun u petak je kazao da će istraga o najvećoj eksploziji u povijesti Bejruta ispitati je li njezin uzrok bomba ili neko drugo strano djelovanje.

"Uzrok eksplozije još uvijek nije utvrđen. Postoji mogućnost strane umiješanosti raketom, bombom ili nečim drugim", kazao je predsjednik Aoun.

Rekao je i da će se pokušati utvrditi da li je do eksplozije došlo zbog nemara ili se radi o nesretnom slučaju. Ranije je predsjednik potvrdio da je visoko eksplozivni materijal godinama bio uskladišten u luci u neadekvatnim uvjetima, bez zaštitnih mjera.

Prvi rezultati istrage su, rekao je neimenovani izvor, ukazivali na nemar.

SAD je rekao da ne isključuje napad, a Izrael je odmah nakon događaja objavio da nema ništa s eksplozijom u bejrutskoj luci, negirajući bilo kakvu ulogu u razornoj eksploziji u kojoj je poginulo 154 ljudi, a oko 5000 je ozlijeđeno. 

Materijalna šteta koju je prouzročila eksplozija seizmičkih razmjera, uključujući tu i poslovne gubitke koji će uslijediti u postojećoj situaciji, mogli bi narasti do 15 milijardi američkih dolara.

Gospodarstvo Libanona prolazi kroz tešku krizu, valuta je u slobodnom padu, dugovi ne prestaju rastu, a Libanonci još od listopada prošle godine prosvjeduju protiv političke kaste i okrivljuju ih za loše upravljanje zemljom i državnu korupciju koja ne jenjava više desetljeća.

Na prosvjed su izašli i jučer tijekom posjeta francuskog predsjednika Emmanuela Macrona i zatražili od njega da im pomogne da se "oslobode sadašnje vlasti i Hezbolaha", proiranskog šijitskog pokreta.

Vlada Hasana Diaba, formirana u siječnju 2020. i predstavljena kao kabinet tehnokrata, na udaru je kritika da je podređena stranci predsjednika Michela Aouna, Slobodnom domoljubnom pokretu, i njegovom neuništivom savezniku Hezbolahu (Božja stranka).

Libanonski predsjednik Michel Aoun u petak je kazao da će istraga o najvećoj eksploziji u povijesti Bejruta ispitati je li njezin uzrok bomba ili neko drugo strano djelovanje.

"Uzrok eksplozije još uvijek nije utvrđen. Postoji mogućnost strane umiješanosti raketom, bombom ili nečim drugim", kazao je predsjednik Aoun.

Rekao je i da će se pokušati utvrditi da li je do eksplozije došlo zbog nemara ili se radi o nesretnom slučaju. Ranije je predsjednik potvrdio da je visoko eksplozivni materijal godinama bio uskladišten u luci u neadekvatnim uvjetima, bez zaštitnih mjera.

Prvi rezultati istrage su, rekao je neimenovani izvor, ukazivali na nemar.

SAD je rekao da ne isključuje napad, a Izrael je odmah nakon događaja objavio da nema ništa s eksplozijom u bejrutskoj luci,...
