Njemački institut Robert Koch upozorio je u utorak na nagli porast broja zaraženih i apelirao na građane da se drže mjera borbe protiv širenja virusa.

"Najnoviji razvoj događaja u Njemačkoj meni i svima nama u institutu zadaje velike brige", rekao je Lothar Wieler, direktor te glavne epidemiološke institucije za borbu protiv covida-19.

Iako se vjerovalo da je epidemija pod kontrolom, trend broja zaraženih u Njemačkoj ide prema gore, dodao je.

"Nalazimo se usred pandemije koja se širi velikom brzinom. Građani i poduzeća su popustili u pridržavanju mjera zato postoji opasnost od nekontroliranog širenja zaraze", istaknuo je Wieler.

Nije želio reći radi li se o drugom valu zaraze u Njemačkoj, ali je kazao da je to "lako moguće".

Institut u posljednjih tjedan dana bilježi porast dnevnih novih slučajeva zaraze koji je u nekoliko navrata prelazio brojku 800. U posljednjih 24 sata je zabilježeno 633 nova slučaja. U tjednima prije toga broj novih dnevnih zaraza se kretao oko 300.

Wieler je objasnio kako je slika putova širenja infekcije postala "nejasna" te da je teško odrediti izvore širenja zaraze.

Procjenjuje se da su povratnici s godišnjih odmora odgovorni za oko 15 do 20 posto novih slučajeva.

Njemački institut Robert Koch upozorio je u utorak na nagli porast broja zaraženih i apelirao na građane da se drže mjera borbe protiv širenja virusa.

"Najnoviji razvoj događaja u Njemačkoj meni i svima nama u institutu zadaje velike brige", rekao je Lothar Wieler, direktor te glavne epidemiološke institucije za borbu protiv covida-19.

Iako se vjerovalo da je epidemija pod kontrolom, trend broja zaraženih u Njemačkoj ide prema gore, dodao je.

"Nalazimo se usred pandemije koja se širi velikom brzinom. Građani i poduzeća su popustili u pridržavanju mjera zato postoji opasnost od nekontroliranog širenja zaraze", istaknuo je Wieler.

Nije želio reći radi li se o drugom valu zaraze u Njemačkoj, ali je kazao da je to "lako moguće".

Institut u posljednjih tjedan dana bilježi porast dnevnih novih slučajeva zaraze koji je u nekoliko navrata prelazio brojku 800. U posljednjih 24 sata je zabilježeno 633 nova slučaja. U tjednima prije toga broj novih dnevnih zaraza se kretao oko 300.

Wieler je objasnio kako je slika putova širenja infekcije postala "nejasna" te da je teško odrediti izvore širenja zaraze.

Procjenjuje se da su povratnici s godišnjih odmora odgovorni za oko 15 do 20 posto novih slučajeva.

Njemački institut Robert Koch upozorio je u utorak na nagli porast broja zaraženih i apelirao na građane da se drže mjera borbe protiv širenja virusa.

"Najnoviji razvoj događaja u Njemačkoj meni i svima nama u institutu zadaje velike brige", rekao je Lothar Wieler, direktor te glavne epidemiološke institucije za borbu protiv covida-19.

Iako se vjerovalo da je epidemija pod kontrolom, trend broja zaraženih u Njemačkoj ide prema gore, dodao je.

"Nalazimo se usred pandemije koja se širi velikom brzinom. Građani i poduzeća su popustili u pridržavanju mjera zato postoji opasnost od nekontroliranog širenja zaraze", istaknuo je Wieler.

Nije želio reći radi li se o drugom valu zaraze u Njemačkoj, ali je kazao da je to "lako moguće".
