Usprkos početnim kolebanjima, Velika Britanija ipak je odlučila slijediti SAD i EU te je jutros zamrznula imovinu još sedam ruskih oligarha na svom državnom teritoriju, uključujući i Romana Abramoviča. Veliki pritisak laburista u tom smjeru slomio je vladajuće konzervativce.

Vlasnik nogometnog kluba Chelsea Roman Abramovič jedan je od sedam najbogatijih i najutjecajnijih ruskih oligarha. Kao dugogodišnji stanovnik Otoka, od svih se bio najviše uzbudio zbog mogućnosti da bude obuhvaćen sankcijama Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva, pa je angažirao brojne odvjetnike i čak najavio prodaju vlasništva nad nogometnim klubom Chelsea. Ambramovičeva prodaja Chelsea je, međutim, također blokirana. Iz Downing Streeta tvrde kako će razmotriti zahtjev za licencom kako bi se u dogledno vrijeme omogućila prodaja kluba, ali da ona neće biti odobrena ako bi na bilo koji način to koristilo Abramoviču dok je pod sankcijama.
Vlada Borisa Johnsona je nakon kraće analize zaključila da je Roman Abramovič, baš poput ostalih ruskih tajkuna, uživao itekako povlašteni tretman i brojne ustupke Kremlja, te je preko svojih poslovnih veza "umiješan u destabilizaciju Ukrajine i prijetnju teritorijalnom integritetu, suverenitetu i neovisnosti" te istočnoeuropske zemlje. Britansko ministarstvo vanjskih poslova priopćilo je da je bio upleten u Putinovu ratnu mašineriju kroz tvrtku za proizvodnju čelika i rudarstvo sa sjedištem u UK, Evraz plc, u kojoj je imao značajan vlasnički udio i efektivnu kontrolu. Naveli su da je Abramovičeva tvrtka vjerojatno isporučivala čelik ruskoj vojsci za proizvodnju tenkova. Sva Abramovičeva britanska imovina je tako sad zamrznuta, a bit će mu zabranjena i putovanja, kao i obavljanje bilo kakvih transakcija u Velikoj Britaniji.

Cijena dionice Evraza, Abramovičeve tvrtke koja je svojedobno osnovana u Londonu s pretežno ruskim kapitalom, pala je u četvrtak ujutro, nakon objave iz Downing Streeta, za čak 13 posto. Abramovičev vlasnički udjel, koji je na kraju 2021. vrijedio čak 1,4 milijarde funti, još u srijedu navečer iznosio je samo 320 milijuna funti.
Oleg Deripaska, jedan od najvećih ruskih oligarha i industrijalaca, od službenoga Londona je također obuhvaćen sankcijama i označen kao Abramovičev nekadašnji bliski poslovni partner. Igor Sečin, kao prvi čovjek energetskog diva Rosnjefta, još otprije je u Foreign Officeu označen kao 'Putinova desna ruka', a tajkuni Kostin, Miller, Tokarev i Lebedev su također proglašeni “najužim suradničkim krugom” ruskog predsjednika, javlja Guardian. Svima je zamrznuta imovina u Britaniji i onemogućeno daljnje poslovanje.
Deripaska je vlasnik 45 posto rudarske tvrtke En+ Group s londonske burze, čiji je izvršni predsjednik još do ponedjeljka bio jedan od prvaka vladajuće konzervativne stranke, Lord Barker. Sečin je izvršni direktor ruske državne naftne tvrtke Rosneft i bivši potpredsjednik ruske vlade. Kostin je predsjednik uprave jedne od najvećih ruskih banaka, VTB banke, koja je trgovala na Londonskoj burzi prije invazije na Ukrajinu. Miler je predsjednik upravnog odbora Gazproma, državnog proizvođača plina i velikoga sponzora niza klubova europskog nogometa. Nikolaj Tokarev je predsjednik Transnjefta, također velike naftne i plinske tvrtke, a Dmitrij Lebedev je predsjednik uprave Ruske Banke, za koju EU navodi da je "osobna banka visokih dužnosnika Ruske Federacije".
Boris Johnson je zadnje poteze svoje administracije nazvao demonstracijom "nepokolebljive potpore Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva ukrajinskom narodu". "Bit ćemo nemilosrdni u progonu onih koji omogućuju ubijanje civila, uništavanje bolnica i nezakonitu okupaciju suverenih saveznika", obećao je Johnson.
Zaključno s zadnjim odlukama, Velika je Britanija od početka rata u Ukrajini dosad obuhvatila sankcijama ukupno 18 ruskih oligarha. Zabranjeno im je obavljanje bilo kakvih financijskih transakcija u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu, što znači i da neće moći zapošljavati čak ni osoblje za održavanje svojih vila i nekretnina, poput čistača, spremačica ili vrtlara. Postati će im nedostupni čak i ugovori za komunalne usluge kao što je struja, navodi Guardian.

Vlasnik nogometnog kluba Chelsea Roman Abramovič jedan je od sedam najbogatijih i najutjecajnijih ruskih oligarha. Kao dugogodišnji stanovnik Otoka, od svih se bio najviše uzbudio zbog mogućnosti da bude obuhvaćen sankcijama Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva, pa je angažirao brojne odvjetnike i čak najavio prodaju vlasništva nad nogometnim klubom Chelsea. Ambramovičeva prodaja Chelsea je, međutim, također blokirana. Iz Downing Streeta tvrde kako će razmotriti zahtjev za licencom kako bi se u dogledno vrijeme omogućila prodaja kluba, ali da ona neće biti odobrena ako bi na bilo koji način to koristilo Abramoviču dok je pod sankcijama.
Vlada Borisa Johnsona je nakon kraće analize zaključila da je Roman Abramovič, baš poput ostalih ruskih tajkuna, uživao itekako povlašteni tretman i brojne ustupke Kremlja, te je preko svojih poslovnih veza "umiješan u destabilizaciju Ukrajine i prijetnju teritorijalnom integritetu, suverenitetu i neovisnosti" te istočnoeuropske zemlje. Britansko ministarstvo vanjskih poslova priopćilo je da je bio upleten u Putinovu ratnu mašineriju kroz tvrtku za proizvodnju čelika i rudarstvo sa sjedištem u UK, Evraz plc, u kojoj je imao značajan vlasnički udio i efektivnu kontrolu. Naveli su da je Abramovičeva tvrtka vjerojatno isporučivala čelik ruskoj vojsci za proizvodnju tenkova. Sva Abramovičeva britanska imovina je tako sad zamrznuta, a bit će mu zabranjena i putovanja, kao i obavljanje bilo kakvih transakcija u Velikoj Britaniji.

Cijena dionice Evraza, Abramovičeve tvrtke koja je svojedobno osnovana u Londonu s pretežno ruskim kapitalom, pala je u četvrtak ujutro, nakon objave iz Downing Streeta, za čak 13 posto. Abramovičev vlasnički udjel, koji je na kraju 2021. vrijedio čak 1,4 milijarde funti, još u srijedu navečer iznosio je samo 320 milijuna funti.
Oleg Deripaska, jedan od najvećih ruskih oligarha i industrijalaca, od službenoga Londona je također obuhvaćen sankcijama i označen kao Abramovičev nekadašnji bliski poslovni partner. Igor Sečin, kao prvi čovjek energetskog diva Rosnjefta, još otprije je u Foreign Officeu označen kao 'Putinova desna ruka', a tajkuni Kostin, Miller, Tokarev i Lebedev su također proglašeni “najužim suradničkim krugom” ruskog predsjednika, javlja Guardian. Svima je zamrznuta imovina u Britaniji i onemogućeno daljnje poslovanje.
Deripaska je vlasnik 45 posto rudarske tvrtke En+ Group s londonske burze, čiji je izvršni predsjednik još do ponedjeljka bio jedan od prvaka vladajuće konzervativne stranke, Lord Barker. Sečin je izvršni direktor ruske državne naftne tvrtke Rosneft i bivši potpredsjednik ruske vlade. Kostin je predsjednik uprave jedne od najvećih ruskih banaka, VTB banke, koja je trgovala na Londonskoj burzi prije invazije na Ukrajinu. Miler je predsjednik upravnog odbora Gazproma, državnog proizvođača plina i velikoga sponzora niza klubova europskog nogometa. Nikolaj Tokarev je predsjednik Transnjefta, također velike naftne i plinske tvrtke, a Dmitrij Lebedev je predsjednik uprave Ruske Banke, za koju EU navodi da je "osobna banka visokih dužnosnika Ruske Federacije".
Boris Johnson je zadnje poteze svoje administracije nazvao demonstracijom "nepokolebljive potpore Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva ukrajinskom narodu". "Bit ćemo nemilosrdni u progonu onih koji omogućuju ubijanje civila, uništavanje bolnica i nezakonitu okupaciju suverenih saveznika", obećao je Johnson.
Zaključno s zadnjim odlukama, Velika je Britanija od početka rata u Ukrajini dosad obuhvatila sankcijama ukupno 18 ruskih oligarha. Zabranjeno im je obavljanje bilo kakvih financijskih transakcija u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu, što znači i da neće moći zapošljavati čak ni osoblje za održavanje svojih vila i nekretnina, poput čistača, spremačica ili vrtlara. Postati će im nedostupni čak i ugovori za komunalne usluge kao što je struja, navodi Guardian.
