Molekularni biolog Oliver Vugrek u emisiji HRT-a "Studio 4" govorio je o novim sojevima koronavirusa.

- Ne očekujem prevelik rast broja novozaraženih nakon jučerašnjih izbora, ljudi su već naučeni u više od godinu dana epidemije. Koliko sam vidio, na biralištima je bilo sve pod kontrolom, glasači su imali maske, vlastite olovke, a nakon izbora nije bilo pretjeranog druženja u stožerima, bilo je manjih skupova i bilo je dobro organizirano, kazao je voditelj laboratorija za naprednu genomiku s Instituta Ruđer Bošković.

Govorio je i o indijskom soju koronavirusa.

- Mutacije u virusu događaju se spontano, to nije ništa novo. Otprilike se događaju jedna do dvije mjesečno. Od početka travnja gdje smo proveli posljednju analizu na 24 uzorka, vidjeli smo dosad nezabilježene mutacije. To nije ništa neobično, mutacije dolaze i odlaze. Neke, poput indijskog soja, koji virusu daju neku prednost, brzo širenje i neke druge mehanizme, oni će se zadržati u populaciji. Za sada, koliko znam, nema spoznaja da je indijski soj smrtonosniji. Takve sojeve moramo pratiti, a u Hrvatskoj još nije zabilježen indijski soj, za razliku od Slovenije gdje je već prisutan. No vjerojatno će stići i do nas u nekom skorom vremenu i ne može se predvidjeti kada ćemo ga detektirati, rekao je o mutacijama virusa i novim znanstvenim spoznajama vezanima uz koronavirusnu zarazu molekularni biolog Oliver Vugrek.

Objasnio je da mutacija ne mora biti uvezena, može se spontano dogoditi u bilo kojoj zemlji.

Imamo šest varijacija nezabilježenih u svijetu

- Na temelju naših rezultata vidimo šest varijacija u genomu koji još u svijetu nisu zabilježeni i 13 koje nisu zabilježene u Europi. To su neke normalne pojave u virusu, da virus mutira, rekao je Vugrek.

- Trebalo bi više sekvencirati viruse iz nekoliko razloga. Prvo iz molekularno-bioloških razloga jer je moguće da se mutacijom izmjeni regija koju otkriva PCR test i može biti lažnih negativnih rezultata PCR testiranja. Zato je potrebno redovito sekvencionirati genom, posebno regije koje su bitne za PCR test. Kompletni genom virusa moguće je sekvencionirati u roku od pet dana u laboratoriju Instituta Ruđer Bošković.

Dodao je da bi se tada mogli izolirati kontakti da se suzbije daljnje širenje i dobila se prednost u sprječavanju širenja tih nekih tzv. opasnih virusa, odnosno onih koji su pod povećalom. Možda nije dovoljno 200 uzoraka mjesečno koji se šalju u ECDC (European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control) i onda se nakon mjesec-dva dobiju rezultati i to je predugo, objasnio je Vugrek.

HZJZ nije prijavio njujorški soj

- U Hrvatskoj imamo i drugih sojeva. Primjerice, gledao sam što je nedavno objavio HZJZ, nije spomenuo njujorški soj koji je prisutan u Hrvatskoj. Imamo dva uzorka, posljednji prije desetak dana. Njujorški soj pojavio se u siječnju u New Yorku i prisutan je kod nas, a nema ga u tablici HZJZ-a, rekao je Vugrek za HRT.

Neki sojevi sigurno će nestati. Primjerice, španjolski soj koji se pojavio lani, bio je još prisutan u Hrvatskoj u veljači, kad i britanski koji je sada preuzeo situaciju, dodao je.

Trebamo se pripremati za još jedan val

Smatra da u sljedećim mjesecima možemo očekivati smirenje situacije jer ćemo tijekom ljeta boraviti više na otvorenom.

- Moramo se pripremiti za jesen, što više ljudi cijepiti i nadati se da će to spriječiti teže oblike bolesti na jesen te da će biti manje smrtnih slučajeva. Novi jesenski val pred zimu je neizbježan jer nismo još cijepili dovoljno ljudi, previše je zaraženih u svijetu, virus neće nestati i moramo se pripremati za još jedan val, koji će, nadam se, biti blaži, rekao je završno Vugrek.

Molekularni biolog Oliver Vugrek u emisiji HRT-a "Studio 4" govorio je o novim sojevima koronavirusa.

- Ne očekujem prevelik rast broja novozaraženih nakon jučerašnjih izbora, ljudi su već naučeni u više od godinu dana epidemije. Koliko sam vidio, na biralištima je bilo sve pod kontrolom, glasači su imali maske, vlastite olovke, a nakon izbora nije bilo pretjeranog druženja u stožerima, bilo je manjih skupova i bilo je dobro organizirano, kazao je voditelj laboratorija za naprednu genomiku s Instituta Ruđer Bošković.

Govorio je i o indijskom soju koronavirusa.

- Mutacije u virusu događaju se spontano, to nije ništa novo. Otprilike se događaju jedna do dvije mjesečno. Od početka travnja gdje smo proveli posljednju analizu na 24 uzorka, vidjeli smo dosad nezabilježene mutacije. To nije ništa neobično, mutacije dolaze i odlaze. Neke, poput indijskog soja, koji virusu daju neku prednost, brzo širenje i neke druge mehanizme, oni će se zadržati u populaciji. Za sada, koliko znam, nema spoznaja da je indijski soj smrtonosniji. Takve sojeve moramo pratiti, a u Hrvatskoj još nije zabilježen indijski soj, za razliku od Slovenije gdje je već prisutan. No vjerojatno će stići i do nas u nekom skorom vremenu i ne može se predvidjeti kada ćemo ga detektirati, rekao je o mutacijama virusa i novim znanstvenim spoznajama vezanima uz koronavirusnu zarazu molekularni biolog Oliver Vugrek.

Objasnio je da mutacija ne mora biti uvezena, može se spontano dogoditi u bilo kojoj zemlji.

Imamo šest varijacija nezabilježenih u svijetu

- Na temelju naših rezultata vidimo šest varijacija u genomu koji još u svijetu nisu zabilježeni i 13 koje nisu zabilježene u Europi. To su neke normalne pojave u virusu, da virus mutira, rekao je Vugrek.

- Trebalo bi više sekvencirati viruse iz nekoliko razloga. Prvo iz molekularno-bioloških razloga jer je moguće da se mutacijom izmjeni regija koju otkriva PCR test i može biti lažnih negativnih rezultata PCR testiranja. Zato je potrebno redovito sekvencionirati genom, posebno regije koje su bitne za PCR test. Kompletni genom virusa moguće je sekvencionirati u roku od pet dana u laboratoriju Instituta Ruđer Bošković.

Dodao je da bi se tada mogli izolirati kontakti da se suzbije daljnje širenje i dobila se prednost u sprječavanju širenja tih nekih tzv. opasnih virusa, odnosno onih koji su pod povećalom. Možda nije dovoljno 200 uzoraka mjesečno koji se šalju u ECDC (European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control) i onda se nakon mjesec-dva dobiju rezultati i to je predugo, objasnio je Vugrek.

HZJZ nije prijavio njujorški soj

- U Hrvatskoj imamo i drugih sojeva. Primjerice, gledao sam što je nedavno objavio HZJZ, nije spomenuo njujorški soj koji je prisutan u Hrvatskoj. Imamo dva uzorka, posljednji prije desetak dana. Njujorški soj pojavio se u siječnju u New Yorku i prisutan je kod nas, a nema ga u tablici HZJZ-a, rekao je Vugrek za HRT.

Neki sojevi sigurno će nestati. Primjerice, španjolski soj koji se pojavio lani, bio je još prisutan u Hrvatskoj u veljači, kad i britanski koji je sada preuzeo situaciju, dodao je.

Trebamo se pripremati za još jedan val

Smatra da u sljedećim mjesecima možemo očekivati smirenje situacije jer ćemo tijekom ljeta boraviti više na otvorenom.

- Moramo se pripremiti za jesen, što više ljudi cijepiti i nadati se da će to spriječiti teže oblike bolesti na jesen te da će biti manje smrtnih slučajeva. Novi jesenski val pred zimu je neizbježan jer nismo još cijepili dovoljno ljudi, previše je zaraženih u svijetu, virus neće nestati i moramo se pripremati za još jedan val, koji će, nadam se, biti blaži, rekao je završno Vugrek.

Molekularni biolog Oliver Vugrek u emisiji HRT-a "Studio 4" govorio je o novim sojevima koronavirusa.

- Ne očekujem prevelik rast broja novozaraženih nakon jučerašnjih izbora, ljudi su već naučeni u više od godinu dana epidemije. Koliko sam vidio, na biralištima je bilo sve pod kontrolom, glasači su imali maske, vlastite olovke, a nakon izbora nije bilo pretjeranog druženja u stožerima, bilo je manjih skupova i bilo je dobro organizirano, kazao je voditelj laboratorija za naprednu genomiku s Instituta Ruđer Bošković.

Govorio je i o indijskom soju koronavirusa.

- Mutacije u virusu događaju se spontano, to nije ništa novo. Otprilike se događaju jedna do dvije mjesečno. Od početka travnja gdje smo proveli posljednju analizu na 24 uzorka, vidjeli smo dosad nezabilježene mutacije....
