Crnogorski mediji objavili su kako je Matea Pletikosić odlučila da će u nastavku karijere nastupati za reprezentaciju Crne Gore. Ova 22-godišnja Sinjanka već je šestu godinu članica Budućnosti s kojom je ovih dana produljila i ugovor, a u klubu ima status pričuvne srednje vanjske.
Pravo nastupa za drugu, u ovom slučaju crnogorsku reprezentaciju stekla je time što je u Podgorici provela više od tri godine, a da za to vrijeme nije igrala za Hrvatsku.
Matea Pletikosić jučer se javila na naš poziv, ali se ispričala hitnom situacijom te je kazala kako trenutačno ne može razgovarati. Svoje viđenje ove priče dali su nam i ljudi koji su najodgovorniji za hrvatske nacionalne selekcije, izbornik seniorske reprezentacije Nenad Šoštarić te izbornik juniorske vrste Ivan Jerković, pišu Sportske novosti.
- Vrlo jednostavno. Matea Pletikosić pozvana je u reprezentaciju kad sam postao izbornik, konkretno za kvalifikacijsku utakmicu za Europsko prvenstvo sa Švicarskom. Ona je tada odbila poziv, poručila je da je to ne zanima u tom trenutku - rekao je Nenad Šoštarić.
- Nakon takvog njenog odgovora ja nisam računao na nju, sve dok se pred dva mjeseca nisu pojavile njene izjave u kojima govori da ima želju igrati za reprezentaciju. Meni je to bilo drago čuti, jer je jedan od osnovnih preduvjeta da igračica kaže da želi. Bila je u mojim planovima za nastavak kvalifikacija, ne za utakmice s Francuskom koje su se trebale igrati u ožujku, nego za preostale dvije s Turskom i Islandom. Nemam nikakvog komentara na ovu njenu odluku, sretno joj bilo - podvukao je Šoštarić.
Njegov prethodnik na izborničkoj poziciji Goran Mrđen kazao je kako Pletikosić u njegovo vrijeme nije bila u konkurenciji za seniorsku reprezentaciju jer su tada prednost imale iskusnije igračice poput Sonje Bašić i Maje Kožnjak.
No, zato ju je zvao izbornik juniorske reprezentacije Ivan Jerković, koji ju je vodio i kao kadetkinju na EP 2016.
- Ona je meni otkazala još 2017. godine, dok smo u Đurđevcu igrali kvalifikacije s Nizozemskom. Razlog je bila neka ozljeda. Mi smo imali okupljanje u ponedjeljak, ona je otkazala u nedjelju navečer oko 22 sata i to je bilo skroz nekorektno. Htio sam je u reprezentaciji, bila nam je glavna igračica, da se nije ozljedila u četvrtfinalu EP-a 2016. vjerojatno bismo bili čak i blizu medalje na kadetskom Euru. I poslije toga sam je stavljao na popise juniorske reprezentacije, ona ih je otkazivala. Nakon što je tadašnjem direktoru reprezentacije Ratku Balenoviću 2018. godine poručila da se ne vidi u reprezentaciji, više je nismo ni zvali te smo na sljedeća dva natjecanja bili bez nje - objasnio je Ivan Jerković.
Javio nam se i Ratko Balenović, koji danas uživa u zasluženoj mirovini.
- Nakon Final Foura Lige prvakinja u Budimpešti 2018. godine na adresu nekolicine igračica poslan je pismeni upit žele li nastupati za reprezentaciju Hrvatske. Matea Pletikosić bila je jedna od njih te je SMS porukom odgovorila da ne želi. Preslik te poruke arhiviran je u dokumentaciji Saveza. Mi smo je imali namjeru zvati, a ne ulazim u njene razloge - rekao je Balenović.
Bilo je to uoči kvalifikacijskih utakmica sa Švicarskom i Ukrajinom, koje je spomenuo i Šoštarić.
Što reći na kraju priče? Pletikosić svakako ima određenu kvalitetu, da nije tako ne bi bila u Budućnosti (iako su sad doveli klase poput Lekić i Pineau) niti bi je zvala reprezentacija Crne Gore.
Je li mogla pomoći Hrvatskoj u konkurenciji Stele Posavec, Valentine Blažević i Dejane Milosavljević, koje su u svojim klubovima ipak imale veću minutažu i važnije uloge? Moguće je, osobito u napadu koji joj je jača strana, u suprotnom je Šoštarić ne bi imao u svojim planovima.
Jesu li obje strane pokazale dovoljno interesa i htijenja da Pletikosić ostane vjerna Hrvatskoj? Dojam je da ni HRS ni igračica nisu napravili baš sve da prevladaju eventualne ranije nesporazume, da im nije bilo dovoljno stalo. I svatko će pritom imati neko svoje opravdanje. Igračica može reći da nije bila zadovoljna odnosom, ljudi iz Saveza mogu tvrditi da se nikoga ne treba moliti da igra za reprezentaciju. Je li jedan poziv mogao promijeniti sve ili ne, sad zapravo više i nije toliko važno.
Talent je definitivno otišao u susjedstvo, a vrijeme će kao i uvijek pokazati tko je koliko dobio ili možda izgubio...

Crnogorski mediji objavili su kako je Matea Pletikosić odlučila da će u nastavku karijere nastupati za reprezentaciju Crne Gore. Ova 22-godišnja Sinjanka već je šestu godinu članica Budućnosti s kojom je ovih dana produljila i ugovor, a u klubu ima status pričuvne srednje vanjske.
Pravo nastupa za drugu, u ovom slučaju crnogorsku reprezentaciju stekla je time što je u Podgorici provela više od tri godine, a da za to vrijeme nije igrala za Hrvatsku.
Matea Pletikosić jučer se javila na naš poziv, ali se ispričala hitnom situacijom te je kazala kako trenutačno ne može razgovarati. Svoje viđenje ove priče dali su nam i ljudi koji su najodgovorniji za hrvatske nacionalne selekcije, izbornik seniorske reprezentacije Nenad Šoštarić te izbornik juniorske vrste Ivan Jerković, pišu Sportske novosti.
- Vrlo jednostavno. Matea Pletikosić pozvana je u reprezentaciju kad sam postao izbornik, konkretno za kvalifikacijsku utakmicu za Europsko prvenstvo sa Švicarskom. Ona je tada odbila poziv, poručila je da je to ne zanima u tom trenutku - rekao je Nenad Šoštarić.
- Nakon takvog njenog odgovora ja nisam računao na nju, sve dok se pred dva mjeseca nisu pojavile njene izjave u kojima govori da ima želju igrati za reprezentaciju. Meni je to bilo drago čuti, jer je jedan od osnovnih preduvjeta da igračica kaže da želi. Bila je u mojim planovima za nastavak kvalifikacija, ne za utakmice s Francuskom koje su se trebale igrati u ožujku, nego za preostale dvije s Turskom i Islandom. Nemam nikakvog komentara na ovu njenu odluku, sretno joj bilo - podvukao je Šoštarić.
Njegov prethodnik na izborničkoj poziciji Goran Mrđen kazao je kako Pletikosić u njegovo vrijeme nije bila u konkurenciji za seniorsku reprezentaciju jer su tada prednost imale iskusnije igračice poput Sonje Bašić i Maje Kožnjak.
No, zato ju je zvao izbornik juniorske reprezentacije Ivan Jerković, koji ju je vodio i kao kadetkinju na EP 2016.
- Ona je meni otkazala još 2017. godine, dok smo u Đurđevcu igrali kvalifikacije s Nizozemskom. Razlog je bila neka ozljeda. Mi smo imali okupljanje u ponedjeljak, ona je otkazala u nedjelju navečer oko 22 sata i to je bilo skroz nekorektno. Htio sam je u reprezentaciji, bila nam je glavna igračica, da se nije ozljedila u četvrtfinalu EP-a 2016. vjerojatno bismo bili čak i blizu medalje na kadetskom Euru. I poslije toga sam je stavljao na popise juniorske reprezentacije, ona ih je otkazivala. Nakon što je tadašnjem direktoru reprezentacije Ratku Balenoviću 2018. godine poručila da se ne vidi u reprezentaciji, više je nismo ni zvali te smo na sljedeća dva natjecanja bili bez nje - objasnio je Ivan Jerković.
Javio nam se i Ratko Balenović, koji danas uživa u zasluženoj mirovini.
- Nakon Final Foura Lige prvakinja u Budimpešti 2018. godine na adresu nekolicine igračica poslan je pismeni upit žele li nastupati za reprezentaciju Hrvatske. Matea Pletikosić bila je jedna od njih te je SMS porukom odgovorila da ne želi. Preslik te poruke arhiviran je u dokumentaciji Saveza. Mi smo je imali namjeru zvati, a ne ulazim u njene razloge - rekao je Balenović.
Bilo je to uoči kvalifikacijskih utakmica sa Švicarskom i Ukrajinom, koje je spomenuo i Šoštarić.
Što reći na kraju priče? Pletikosić svakako ima određenu kvalitetu, da nije tako ne bi bila u Budućnosti (iako su sad doveli klase poput Lekić i Pineau) niti bi je zvala reprezentacija Crne Gore.
Je li mogla pomoći Hrvatskoj u konkurenciji Stele Posavec, Valentine Blažević i Dejane Milosavljević, koje su u svojim klubovima ipak imale veću minutažu i važnije uloge? Moguće je, osobito u napadu koji joj je jača strana, u suprotnom je Šoštarić ne bi imao u svojim planovima.
Jesu li obje strane pokazale dovoljno interesa i htijenja da Pletikosić ostane vjerna Hrvatskoj? Dojam je da ni HRS ni igračica nisu napravili baš sve da prevladaju eventualne ranije nesporazume, da im nije bilo dovoljno stalo. I svatko će pritom imati neko svoje opravdanje. Igračica može reći da nije bila zadovoljna odnosom, ljudi iz Saveza mogu tvrditi da se nikoga ne treba moliti da igra za reprezentaciju. Je li jedan poziv mogao promijeniti sve ili ne, sad zapravo više i nije toliko važno.
Talent je definitivno otišao u susjedstvo, a vrijeme će kao i uvijek pokazati tko je koliko dobio ili možda izgubio...
