Pariška gradonačelnica Anne Hidalgo promijenila je svoj prijašnji stav o nastupu ruskih na Olimpijskim igrama 2024. te je izjavila da oni ne bi smjeli nastupiti "sve dok traje rat u Ukrajini".

Krajem prošlog mjeseca čelnica grada domaćina sljedećih Ljetnih OI izjasnila se da je za nastup ruskih predstavnika "pod neutralnom zastavom" kako sportašima ne bila "uskraćena mogućnost da se natječu". Hidalgo je to prije nešto više od tjedan dana vidjela kao kompromisno rješenje, koje je u utorak u razgovoru za France Info nazvala "nepoštenim".

Pariška gradonačelnica je u tom medijskom istupu konstatirala da "neutralna zastava zapravo ne postoji", ali napravila i distinkciju spomenuvši "ruske disidente koji bi željeli nastupiti pod zastavom izbjeglica". Hidalgo je rekla da su to ljudi koji "ne podržavaju Vladimira Putina i njegovu agresiju".

Ruski sportaši su već nastupali kao "neutralni" u posljednja dva olimpijska ciklusa, na Ljetnim OI u Tokiju 2021. i pola godine poslije na Zimskim OI u Pekingu, zbog sankcija nametnutih Ruskom olimpijskom odboru za sustavno korištenje dopinga. Na tim Igrama ruski sportašice i sportaši nisu mogli nastupati pod svojim nacionalnim obilježjima, niti je u slučaju osvajanja naslova olimpijskog pobjednika intonirana ruska himna. 

"Nisam za takvu opciju, ona mi se čini potpuno nepoštena", izjavila je Hidalgo.

"Ne želimo vidjeti u svečanom mimohodu državu koja napada drugu i praviti se da se to ne događa", dodala je pariška gradonačelnica.

Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenski je krajem siječnja zatražio od francuskog predsjednika Emmanuela Macrona da se Rusima odmah zabrani nastup na sljedećim Olimpijskim igrama.

Unatoč brojnim drugim zahtjevima za izbacivanje ruskih i bjeloruskih sportaša s OI 2024., Međunarodni olimpijski odbor (MOO) je pripremio hodogram za njihovo ponovno uključivanje na međunarodna natjecanja, s kojih su uglavnom bili isključeni nakon ruske invazije na ukrajinsko tlo. U MOO-u smatraju da "nijednom sportašu ne bi smjelo biti zabranjeno natjecati se, samo zbog njegove putovnice".

Pariška gradonačelnica Anne Hidalgo promijenila je svoj prijašnji stav o nastupu ruskih na Olimpijskim igrama 2024. te je izjavila da oni ne bi smjeli nastupiti "sve dok traje rat u Ukrajini".

Krajem prošlog mjeseca čelnica grada domaćina sljedećih Ljetnih OI izjasnila se da je za nastup ruskih predstavnika "pod neutralnom zastavom" kako sportašima ne bila "uskraćena mogućnost da se natječu". Hidalgo je to prije nešto više od tjedan dana vidjela kao kompromisno rješenje, koje je u utorak u razgovoru za France Info nazvala "nepoštenim".

Pariška gradonačelnica je u tom medijskom istupu konstatirala da "neutralna zastava zapravo ne postoji", ali napravila i distinkciju spomenuvši "ruske disidente koji bi željeli nastupiti pod zastavom izbjeglica". Hidalgo je rekla da su to ljudi koji "ne podržavaju Vladimira Putina i njegovu agresiju".

Ruski sportaši su već nastupali kao "neutralni" u posljednja dva olimpijska ciklusa, na Ljetnim OI u Tokiju 2021. i pola godine poslije na Zimskim OI u Pekingu, zbog sankcija nametnutih Ruskom olimpijskom odboru za sustavno korištenje dopinga. Na tim Igrama ruski sportašice i sportaši nisu mogli nastupati pod svojim nacionalnim obilježjima, niti je u slučaju osvajanja naslova olimpijskog pobjednika intonirana ruska himna. 

"Nisam za takvu opciju, ona mi se čini potpuno nepoštena", izjavila je Hidalgo.

"Ne želimo vidjeti u svečanom mimohodu državu koja napada drugu i praviti se da se to ne događa", dodala je pariška gradonačelnica.

Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenski je krajem siječnja zatražio od francuskog predsjednika Emmanuela Macrona da se Rusima odmah zabrani nastup na sljedećim Olimpijskim igrama.

Unatoč brojnim drugim zahtjevima za izbacivanje ruskih i bjeloruskih sportaša s OI 2024., Međunarodni olimpijski odbor (MOO) je pripremio hodogram za njihovo ponovno uključivanje na međunarodna natjecanja, s kojih su uglavnom bili isključeni nakon ruske invazije na ukrajinsko tlo. U MOO-u smatraju da "nijednom sportašu ne bi smjelo biti zabranjeno natjecati se, samo zbog njegove putovnice".

Pariška gradonačelnica promijenila mišljenje o nastupu Rusa na OI: ‘Neutralna zastava zapravo ne postoji‘

Pariška gradonačelnica Anne Hidalgo promijenila je svoj prijašnji stav o nastupu ruskih na Olimpijskim igrama 2024. te je izjavila da oni ne bi smjeli nastupiti "sve dok traje rat u Ukrajini".

Krajem prošlog mjeseca čelnica grada domaćina sljedećih Ljetnih OI izjasnila se da je za nastup ruskih predstavnika "pod neutralnom zastavom" kako sportašima ne bila "uskraćena mogućnost da se natječu". Hidalgo je to prije nešto više od tjedan dana vidjela kao kompromisno rješenje, koje je u utorak u razgovoru za France Info nazvala "nepoštenim".

Pariška gradonačelnica je u tom medijskom istupu konstatirala da "neutralna zastava zapravo ne postoji", ali napravila i distinkciju spomenuvši "ruske disidente koji bi željeli nastupiti pod zastavom izbjeglica". Hidalgo je rekla da su...
