U Sinju je u srijedu obilježena 31. godišnjica formiranja Druge bojne Četvrte brigade ZNG-a, poznate kao "Hrvatski anđeli".

Svečanost je počela svetom misom za poginule i umrle pripadnike postrojbe u crkvi Gospe Sinjske. Potom su položeni vijenci i zapaljene svijeće kod biste dr. Franje Tuđmana na istoimenom trgu i kod spomenika poginulim hrvatskim braniteljima Domovinskog rata Sinja i Cetinske krajine, kod zgrade Općine.

Središnje slavlje održano je u Alkarskim dvorima, gdje su se, uz članove obitelji i rodbinu poginulih te pripadnike bojne, okupili brojni gosti i uzvanici, među kojima su bili brigadni general Dražen Resler, izaslanik predsjednika Republike, državni tajnik u Ministarstvu hrvatskih branitelja Špiro Janović kao izaslanik premijera i resornog ministra, Damir Gabrić u ime Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, gradonačelnik Miro Bulj, Mislav Filipović Grčić, načelnik Policijske postaje Sinj, čelnici gradova i općina cetinskoga kraja, predstavnici braniteljskih i udruga ratnih postrojbi i drugi.

O ratnom putu Druge bojne govorio je Neven Bazina, njezin prvi zapovjednik i sadašnji predsjednik udruge veterana. On je podsjetio da su od prvog postrojavanja 1. lipnja 1991. do preustroja 1. prosinca 1992. kroz bojnu prošla 474 pripadnika, među kojima je bilo 15 žena. U brojnim bitkama od Kruševa i Vrlike do Dubrovnika poginulo je 27 pripadnika bojne, veliki je broj ranjenih i s trajnim posljedicama, a do sada je, naglasio je Bazina, 30 pripadnika postrojbe umrlo.

Na kraju svečanosti general Resler uručio je trojici pripadnika "Hrvatskih anđela" odličja kojima ih je odlikovao predsjednik Zoran Milanović. Redom hrvatskog pletera odlikovan je Zdravko Škarpa, jedan od zapovjednika bojne. Marijan Pavlinušić odlikovan je Redom Nikole Šubića, a Rino Žanko Redom kneza Domagoja. Čestitajući odlikovanima, general Resler je kazao da se ratni put Druge bojne može sažeti u jednu riječ: veličanstven.

U ime odlikovanih zahvalio je Škarpa, koji je kazao da njegovo odličje ide na spomenik ubijenim zarobljenim pripadnicima postrojbe na Alebića kuli. Na tom su mjestu, podsjetimo, 27. rujna 1991. iz skupine zarobljenih pripadnika Druge bojne izdvojeni i mučki ubijeni Nenad Mastelić Ivić iz Brnaza, Ante Jukić iz Otoka i Ivan Babić iz Potravlja. T. Svečanost je počela svetom misom za poginule i umrle pripadnike postrojbe u crkvi Gospe Sinjske. Potom su položeni vijenci i zapaljene svijeće kod biste dr. Franje Tuđmana na istoimenom trgu i kod spomenika poginulim hrvatskim braniteljima Domovinskog rata Sinja i Cetinske krajine, kod zgrade Općine.

Središnje slavlje održano je u Alkarskim dvorima, gdje su se, uz članove obitelji i rodbinu poginulih te pripadnike bojne, okupili brojni gosti i uzvanici, među kojima su bili brigadni general Dražen Resler, izaslanik predsjednika Republike, državni tajnik u Ministarstvu hrvatskih branitelja Špiro Janović kao izaslanik premijera i resornog ministra, Damir Gabrić u ime Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, gradonačelnik Miro Bulj, Mislav Filipović Grčić, načelnik Policijske postaje Sinj, čelnici gradova i općina cetinskoga kraja, predstavnici braniteljskih i udruga ratnih postrojbi i drugi.

O ratnom putu Druge bojne govorio je Neven Bazina, njezin prvi zapovjednik i sadašnji predsjednik udruge veterana. On je podsjetio da su od prvog postrojavanja 1. lipnja 1991. do preustroja 1. prosinca 1992. kroz bojnu prošla 474 pripadnika, među kojima je bilo 15 žena. U brojnim bitkama od Kruševa i Vrlike do Dubrovnika poginulo je 27 pripadnika bojne, veliki je broj ranjenih i s trajnim posljedicama, a do sada je, naglasio je Bazina, 30 pripadnika postrojbe umrlo.

Na kraju svečanosti general Resler uručio je trojici pripadnika "Hrvatskih anđela" odličja kojima ih je odlikovao predsjednik Zoran Milanović. Redom hrvatskog pletera odlikovan je Zdravko Škarpa, jedan od zapovjednika bojne. Marijan Pavlinušić odlikovan je Redom Nikole Šubića, a Rino Žanko Redom kneza Domagoja. Čestitajući odlikovanima, general Resler je kazao da se ratni put Druge bojne može sažeti u jednu riječ: veličanstven.

U ime odlikovanih zahvalio je Škarpa, koji je kazao da njegovo odličje ide na spomenik ubijenim zarobljenim pripadnicima postrojbe na Alebića kuli. Na tom su mjestu, podsjetimo, 27. rujna 1991. iz skupine zarobljenih pripadnika Druge bojne izdvojeni i mučki ubijeni Nenad Mastelić Ivić iz Brnaza, Ante Jukić iz Otoka i Ivan Babić iz Potravlja. T. U Sinju je u srijedu obilježena 31. godišnjica formiranja Druge bojne Četvrte brigade ZNG-a, poznate kao "Hrvatski anđeli".
