Osmi dan listopada više nije Dan neovisnosti (sada je to Dan Hrvatskog sabora), ali je bio i ostao datum na koji se obilježava krunidba kralja Dmitra Zvonimira (1075., iako neki povjesničari govore o 9. listopada 1076.).

Istog je datuma, ali 976. godine, preminula i Kraljica Jelena , supruga kralja Mihajla Krešimira i majka kralja Stjepana Držislava, u svakom slučaju jedna od najzanimljivijih osoba hrvatskog ranog srednjovjekovlja...

I ove godine ta su dva datuma obilježena u Solinu, kroz čiji je centar prošla kostimirana povorka u kojoj su bili pripadnici povijesne postrojbe kralja Dmitra Zvonimira iz Knina te Vranski vitezovi.

"Što je ovo?", pitali su se slučajni prolaznici, naravno, oni koji dosad nisu sretali kostimiranu povorku i nisu znali o čemu je riječ.

Povorka se zaputila put Šuplje crkve, odnosno crkve sv. Petra i Mojsija, u kojoj je opat Gebizon u ime pape Grgura VII. okrunio Dmitra Zvonimira.

Ondje je održana kraća priredba koju je otvorio gradonačelnik Solina Dalibor Ninčević.

Ovo nije prva takva manifestacija, ali ostaje žal zbog toga što nikako da se podigne na višu razinu, jer je neosporan i njezin turistički potencijal, koji ovako ostaje neiskorišten.

Osmi dan listopada više nije Dan neovisnosti (sada je to Dan Hrvatskog sabora), ali je bio i ostao datum na koji se obilježava krunidba kralja Dmitra Zvonimira (1075., iako neki povjesničari govore o 9. listopada 1076.).

Istog je datuma, ali 976. godine, preminula i Kraljica Jelena , supruga kralja Mihajla Krešimira i majka kralja Stjepana Držislava, u svakom slučaju jedna od najzanimljivijih osoba hrvatskog ranog srednjovjekovlja...

I ove godine ta su dva datuma obilježena u Solinu, kroz čiji je centar prošla kostimirana povorka u kojoj su bili pripadnici povijesne postrojbe kralja Dmitra Zvonimira iz Knina te Vranski vitezovi.

"Što je ovo?", pitali su se slučajni prolaznici, naravno, oni koji dosad nisu sretali kostimiranu povorku i nisu znali o čemu je riječ.

Povorka se zaputila put Šuplje crkve, odnosno crkve sv. Petra i Mojsija, u kojoj je opat Gebizon u ime pape Grgura VII. okrunio Dmitra Zvonimira.

Ondje je održana kraća priredba koju je otvorio gradonačelnik Solina Dalibor Ninčević.

Ovo nije prva takva manifestacija, ali ostaje žal zbog toga što nikako da se podigne na višu razinu, jer je neosporan i njezin turistički potencijal, koji ovako ostaje neiskorišten.
