Unatoč sad već zimskim uvjetima ratovanja ukrajinska bojišnica i dalje je vrlo aktivna, a ministar obrane Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva Ben Wallace, inače uz SAD glavni ukrajinski saveznik, tvrdi da Ukrajinci sad nipošto ne smiju stati.

"S obzirom na prednost koju Ukrajinci imaju u opremi, obuci i kvaliteti svog osoblja u odnosu na demoralizirane, loše obučene, loše opremljene Ruse, bilo bi u interesu Ukrajine da zadrži zamah tijekom zime – kazao je Wallace u intervjuu za The Daily Beast. Također je dodao da ukrajinske trupe imaju 300.000 komada opreme za arktičko ratovanje koje su dobile od međunarodne zajednice.

A to je, kaže, ključno za svaku zimsku ofenzivu.

Koliko je teško ratovanje u zimskoj kaljuži vidi se i na ovoj videosnimci koja pokazuje ukrajinske vojnike u rovu do grla u blatu.

Zima neizbježno otežava nastavak ofenzivnih akcija protiv Rusije, no i Staljin je mislio da će lako pregaziti Fince u poznatom zimskom ratu koji se vodio 1939 i 1940., no taj ga je rat na koncu skupu koštao. Sovjeti su pretrpjeli katastrofalne gubitke od oko 170 tisuća mrtvih i gotovo 250 tisuća nestalih.

Finci su junačkim otporom u Zimskom ratu posramili Staljina, a onima koji su rekli da će Crvena armija za sedam dana u Helsinkiju pojesti sladoled zapjevali su: ‘Njet Molotov‘.

Finci su na minus 40 stupnjeva  uništavali neprijateljske poljske kuhinje, gađali Sovjete dok su se grijali oko vatre, likvidirali ih masovno snajperima iz šuma. Finski vodnik Simo Häyhä imao je potvrđena 542 ubijena neprijatelja, što ga čini najubojitijim snajperistom u cijeloj povijesti ratovanja. Sovjetsko neiskustvo, naivnost i nedostatak motivacije bili su ključni faktor finskog uspjeha tijekom Zimskog rata.

Finske mobilne jedinice lakog pješaštva putovale su uokolo na skijama, koje su im omogućile da s lakoćom klize preko tisuća zaleđenih finskih jezera i provlače se kroz njezine ogromne šume kako bi zaobišli i nadmašili Crvenu armiju. Fijasko Staljinove vojske u Finskoj navodno je i samog Hitlera inspirirao da napadne SSSR, uvjeren u brzu pobjedu. Kasnije se stanje na bojišnici promijenilo i Sovjeti su uspjeli probiti Mannerheimovu obrambenu liniju, ali je Finska uspješno odolijevala okupaciji sve do Moskovskog mirovnog sporazuma 1940. i time ušla u antologiju junačkog otpora višestruko nadmoćnijem protivniku.

Bez prestanka treba žestoko tući skladišta i rusku opskrbu

Mark Kimmitt, umirovljeni brigadni general američke vojske i bivši pomoćnik državnog tajnika za političko-vojna pitanja, u svojoj analizi objavljenoj  u The Wall Street Journalu, naveo je što bi svakako trebali Ukrajinci nastaviti i u zimskim uvjetima ratovanja. Kaže kako nipošto ne smiju prestati precizni dalekometni napadi na ruska skladišta streljiva, zapovjedne centre i opskrbne rute.

To će spriječiti Rusiju da obnovi svoje borbene kapacitete čak i nakon dolaska novomobiliziranih trupa i dodatnih iranskih dronova. Takva taktika može se nadopuniti lokalnim napadima na ruske snage kada se za to ukažu prilike.

„Prisiljavanje Rusa da se koncentriraju na čuvanje vlastite borbene moći i ograničavanje njihovih sposobnosti da izvode kopnene operacije najbolja su garancija za sprečavanje bilo kakvog protunapada – ističe umirovljeni američki časnik. Navodi kako je ključno da Ukrajina prije žestoke zime učvrsti obrambene položaje duž trenutnih linija bojišnice, integrira rezervne trupe u postojeće jedinice i vojsku dobro opskrbi zimskom odjećom i opremom. Zemlje članice NATO saveza istovremeno bi trebale ubrzati isporuku vojnih zaliha, te Ukrajincima staviti na raspolaganje više kapaciteta za modernu vojnu obuku. Kao naoružanje koje treba hitno dostaviti Ukrajincima, analitičar ističe rakete za sustave HIMARS i baterije protuzračne obrane.

„Sigurno je da će Putinova vojska nastaviti kampanju bombardiranja gradova i ključne ukrajinske infrastrukture, što će stvoriti ogromne poteškoće vladi u Kijevu. Dobra je vijest da, osim te vrste terorističkog ratovanja, nema baš mnogo poteza koje vodstvo ruske vojske može povući, navodi časnik i kaže kako je veliko pitanje jesu li Rusi u dogledno vrijeme sposobni učiniti bilo što više od provođenja lokalnih protunapada, učvršćivanja obrambenih linija i početka integracije mobiliziranih rezervista.

„Ruske trupe vjerojatno neće biti potisnute natrag na granice do kraja ove godine niti će Krim do tada biti oslobođen. No, uz pravilnu obnovu, planiranje i obuku ove zime, uz nastavak ofenzivnih akcija u Ukrajini ubrzo nakon proljetnog odmrzavanja, to su sasvim razumni ciljevi za 2023.godinu, zaključuje Mark Kimmitt.

Unatoč sad već zimskim uvjetima ratovanja ukrajinska bojišnica i dalje je vrlo aktivna, a ministar obrane Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva Ben Wallace, inače uz SAD glavni ukrajinski saveznik, tvrdi da Ukrajinci sad nipošto ne smiju stati.

"S obzirom na prednost koju Ukrajinci imaju u opremi, obuci i kvaliteti svog osoblja u odnosu na demoralizirane, loše obučene, loše opremljene Ruse, bilo bi u interesu Ukrajine da zadrži zamah tijekom zime – kazao je Wallace u intervjuu za The Daily Beast. Također je dodao da ukrajinske trupe imaju 300.000 komada opreme za arktičko ratovanje koje su dobile od međunarodne zajednice.

A to je, kaže, ključno za svaku zimsku ofenzivu.

Zima neizbježno otežava nastavak ofenzivnih akcija protiv Rusije, no i Staljin je mislio da će lako pregaziti Fince u poznatom zimskom ratu koji se vodio 1939 i 1940., no taj ga je rat na koncu skupu koštao. Sovjeti su pretrpjeli katastrofalne gubitke od oko 170 tisuća mrtvih i gotovo 250 tisuća nestalih.

Finci su junačkim otporom u Zimskom ratu posramili Staljina, a onima koji su rekli da će Crvena armija za sedam dana u Helsinkiju pojesti sladoled zapjevali su: ‘Njet Molotov‘.

Finci su na minus 40 stupnjeva  uništavali neprijateljske poljske kuhinje, gađali Sovjete dok su se grijali oko vatre, likvidirali ih masovno snajperima iz šuma. Finski vodnik Simo Häyhä imao je potvrđena 542 ubijena neprijatelja, što ga čini najubojitijim snajperistom u cijeloj povijesti ratovanja. Sovjetsko neiskustvo, naivnost i nedostatak motivacije bili su ključni faktor finskog uspjeha tijekom Zimskog rata.

Finske mobilne jedinice lakog pješaštva putovale su uokolo na skijama, koje su im omogućile da s lakoćom klize preko tisuća zaleđenih finskih jezera i provlače se kroz njezine ogromne šume kako bi zaobišli i nadmašili Crvenu armiju. Fijasko Staljinove vojske u Finskoj navodno je i samog Hitlera inspirirao da napadne SSSR, uvjeren u brzu pobjedu. Kasnije se stanje na bojišnici promijenilo i Sovjeti su uspjeli probiti Mannerheimovu obrambenu liniju, ali je Finska uspješno odolijevala okupaciji sve do Moskovskog mirovnog sporazuma 1940. i time ušla u antologiju junačkog otpora višestruko nadmoćnijem protivniku.

Bez prestanka treba žestoko tući skladišta i rusku opskrbu

Mark Kimmitt, umirovljeni brigadni general američke vojske i bivši pomoćnik državnog tajnika za političko-vojna pitanja, u svojoj analizi objavljenoj  u The Wall Street Journalu, naveo je što bi svakako trebali Ukrajinci nastaviti i u zimskim uvjetima ratovanja. Kaže kako nipošto ne smiju prestati precizni dalekometni napadi na ruska skladišta streljiva, zapovjedne centre i opskrbne rute.

To će spriječiti Rusiju da obnovi svoje borbene kapacitete čak i nakon dolaska novomobiliziranih trupa i dodatnih iranskih dronova. Takva taktika može se nadopuniti lokalnim napadima na ruske snage kada se za to ukažu prilike.

„Prisiljavanje Rusa da se koncentriraju na čuvanje vlastite borbene moći i ograničavanje njihovih sposobnosti da izvode kopnene operacije najbolja su garancija za sprečavanje bilo kakvog protunapada – ističe umirovljeni američki časnik. Navodi kako je ključno da Ukrajina prije žestoke zime učvrsti obrambene položaje duž trenutnih linija bojišnice, integrira rezervne trupe u postojeće jedinice i vojsku dobro opskrbi zimskom odjećom i opremom. Zemlje članice NATO saveza istovremeno bi trebale ubrzati isporuku vojnih zaliha, te Ukrajincima staviti na raspolaganje više kapaciteta za modernu vojnu obuku. Kao naoružanje koje treba hitno dostaviti Ukrajincima, analitičar ističe rakete za sustave HIMARS i baterije protuzračne obrane.

„Sigurno je da će Putinova vojska nastaviti kampanju bombardiranja gradova i ključne ukrajinske infrastrukture, što će stvoriti ogromne poteškoće vladi u Kijevu. Dobra je vijest da, osim te vrste terorističkog ratovanja, nema baš mnogo poteza koje vodstvo ruske vojske može povući, navodi časnik i kaže kako je veliko pitanje jesu li Rusi u dogledno vrijeme sposobni učiniti bilo što više od provođenja lokalnih protunapada, učvršćivanja obrambenih linija i početka integracije mobiliziranih rezervista.

„Ruske trupe vjerojatno neće biti potisnute natrag na granice do kraja ove godine niti će Krim do tada biti oslobođen. No, uz pravilnu obnovu, planiranje i obuku ove zime, uz nastavak ofenzivnih akcija u Ukrajini ubrzo nakon proljetnog odmrzavanja, to su sasvim razumni ciljevi za 2023.godinu, zaključuje Mark Kimmitt.
