Svjetsko vijeće za turizam i putovanje (WTTC) pozvalo je putnike i turiste da obvezno nose maske i slijede druge mjere zaštite od Covida-19 zbog svog zdravlja, kao i drugih putnika i radnika u turizmu, prijevozu i drugim povezanim djelatnostima.

Taj poziv WTTC (World Tourism & Travel Council) kao jedna od najvažnijih globalnih turističkih organizacija uputio je sredinom srpnja, kada se u većem dijelu svijeta kreće na godišnje ljetne odmore. Iako je ljetna 'špica' zbog pandemije ove godine obilježena smanjenjem broja putovanja, kao i još uvijek postupnim i ograničenim otvaranjem granica i odredišta, ipak se sada mnoga otvaraju nakon proljetnog i zimskog zatvaranja.

"Kako zemlje iz zatvorenosti i zastoja ponovno otvaraju granice i poslovanja, obvezno nošenje maski na licu uz pridržavanje drugih mjera zaštite pomaže signalizirati povratak sigurnijih putovanja. To pokazuju i zemlje koje se brže oporavljaju i uspijevaju izbjeći 'nove valove' Covida-19, a primjenjuju i potiču obvezno nošenje maski za lice", ističu iz WTTC-a.

Stoga se u toj organizaciji, nakon medicinskih uputa s vodećih svjetskih sveučilišta, instituta i sličnih, zalažu za obvezno nošenje maski za lice, posebice u svim oblicima prijevoza, u lukama, kolodvorima i dr., kao i tijekom cijelog procesa putovanja te prilikom posjeta bilo kojem zatvorenom ili prostoru gdje je ograničeno kretanje i gdje dolazi do bližih kontakata između ljudi od dva metra ili manje.

WTTC poziva i vlade da preporučuju nošenje maski, a privatni sektor iz turizma i drugih područja da podrže taj poziv i svoje kupce dodatno podsjete na njihove obveze kako bi zaštitili i svoje i zdravlje suputnika i drugih s kojima se sreću prilikom putovanja.

Globalna kampanja #wear2care

Dio je to nove globalne kampanje WTTC-a na društvenim mrežama s heštegom #wear2care, u sklopu koje se putnicima uz ostalo sugerira i da će, ako prihvate upotrebu maski za lice, smanjiti rizik od prenošenja zaraze i biti zaštićeniji od koronavirusa dok se ne nađe cjepivo.

WTTC uz nošenje maski, često pranje ruku i dezinficiranje preporučuje gdje je moguće i testiranja, kako bi ljudi mogli uživati ​​u sigurnom putovanju.

"Sigurnost i higijena turista i drugih putnika, i svih onih koji rade u turizmu od najveće je važnosti u turizmu bilo uvijek, a sada i više, jer bez toga nema putovanja. Zato WTTC sada ponovo na to podsjeća i smatra da bi svi u ovakvim okolnostima pandemije trebali preporučiti obvezne maske. No, i upozorila je da nošenje maski nikako ne smije biti ispolitizirano, nego postati dio svakodnevnog života dok se ne pronađe cjepivo, pri čemu iznosi rezultate istraživanja sa Harvarda, koje je pokazalo da maske za lice dokazano pružaju najvišu razinu zaštite od prijenosa virusa od 82 posto, dok stalna higijena ruku i površina ubija više od 90 posto virusa.

WTTC na globalnoj razini predstavlja organizaciju koja okuplja više od 200 izvršnih direktora, predsjedatelja i predsjednika vodećih svjetskih tvrtki za putovanja i turizam, ali i brojne iz različitih drugih sektora.

Svjetsko vijeće za turizam i putovanje (WTTC) pozvalo je putnike i turiste da obvezno nose maske i slijede druge mjere zaštite od Covida-19 zbog svog zdravlja, kao i drugih putnika i radnika u turizmu, prijevozu i drugim povezanim djelatnostima.

Taj poziv WTTC (World Tourism & Travel Council) kao jedna od najvažnijih globalnih turističkih organizacija uputio je sredinom srpnja, kada se u većem dijelu svijeta kreće na godišnje ljetne odmore. Iako je ljetna 'špica' zbog pandemije ove godine obilježena smanjenjem broja putovanja, kao i još uvijek postupnim i ograničenim otvaranjem granica i odredišta, ipak se sada mnoga otvaraju nakon proljetnog i zimskog zatvaranja.

"Kako zemlje iz zatvorenosti i zastoja ponovno otvaraju granice i poslovanja, obvezno nošenje maski na licu uz pridržavanje drugih mjera zaštite pomaže signalizirati povratak sigurnijih putovanja. To pokazuju i zemlje koje se brže oporavljaju i uspijevaju izbjeći 'nove valove' Covida-19, a primjenjuju i potiču obvezno nošenje maski za lice", ističu iz WTTC-a.

Stoga se u toj organizaciji, nakon medicinskih uputa s vodećih svjetskih sveučilišta, instituta i sličnih, zalažu za obvezno nošenje maski za lice, posebice u svim oblicima prijevoza, u lukama, kolodvorima i dr., kao i tijekom cijelog procesa putovanja te prilikom posjeta bilo kojem zatvorenom ili prostoru gdje je ograničeno kretanje i gdje dolazi do bližih kontakata između ljudi od dva metra ili manje.

WTTC poziva i vlade da preporučuju nošenje maski, a privatni sektor iz turizma i drugih područja da podrže taj poziv i svoje kupce dodatno podsjete na njihove obveze kako bi zaštitili i svoje i zdravlje suputnika i drugih s kojima se sreću prilikom putovanja.

Globalna kampanja #wear2care

Dio je to nove globalne kampanje WTTC-a na društvenim mrežama s heštegom #wear2care, u sklopu koje se putnicima uz ostalo sugerira i da će, ako prihvate upotrebu maski za lice, smanjiti rizik od prenošenja zaraze i biti zaštićeniji od koronavirusa dok se ne nađe cjepivo.

WTTC uz nošenje maski, često pranje ruku i dezinficiranje preporučuje gdje je moguće i testiranja, kako bi ljudi mogli uživati ​​u sigurnom putovanju.

"Sigurnost i higijena turista i drugih putnika, i svih onih koji rade u turizmu od najveće je važnosti u turizmu bilo uvijek, a sada i više, jer bez toga nema putovanja. Zato WTTC sada ponovo na to podsjeća i smatra da bi svi u ovakvim okolnostima pandemije trebali preporučiti obvezne maske. Svatko tko ih nosi vidljivo pokazuje da mu je stalo do dobrobiti i sigurnosti sebe i drugih, a to potiče povratak putovanja", naglasila je predsjednica i izvršna direktorica WTTC-a Gloria Guevara.

No, i upozorila je da nošenje maski nikako ne smije biti ispolitizirano, nego postati dio svakodnevnog života dok se ne pronađe cjepivo, pri čemu iznosi rezultate istraživanja sa Harvarda, koje je pokazalo da maske za lice dokazano pružaju najvišu razinu zaštite od prijenosa virusa od 82 posto, dok stalna higijena ruku i površina ubija više od 90 posto virusa.

WTTC na globalnoj razini predstavlja organizaciju koja okuplja više od 200 izvršnih direktora, predsjedatelja i predsjednika vodećih svjetskih tvrtki za putovanja i turizam, ali i brojne iz različitih drugih sektora.

WTTC poziva putnike da nose maske: Svatko tko ih nosi pokazuje da mu je stalo do sigurnosti sebe i drugih, a to potiče povratak putovanja

Svjetsko vijeće za turizam i putovanje (WTTC) pozvalo je putnike i turiste da obvezno nose maske i slijede druge mjere zaštite od Covida-19 zbog svog zdravlja, kao i drugih putnika i radnika u turizmu, prijevozu i drugim povezanim djelatnostima.

Taj poziv WTTC (World Tourism & Travel Council) kao jedna od najvažnijih globalnih turističkih organizacija uputio je sredinom srpnja, kada se u većem dijelu svijeta kreće na godišnje ljetne odmore. Iako je ljetna 'špica' zbog pandemije ove godine obilježena smanjenjem broja putovanja, kao i još uvijek postupnim i ograničenim otvaranjem granica i odredišta, ipak se sada mnoga otvaraju nakon proljetnog i zimskog zatvaranja.
