Prva od tri socijalno distancirane tv-debate između Donalda Trumpa i njegova demokratskog protukandidata Joea Bidena održava se večeras u Clevelendu u saveznoj državi Ohio.

Predviđa se da će raspravu pratiti deseci milijuna Amerikanaca, baš kao i dva nastupajuća listopadska duela u Miamiju i Nashvilleu. Većina medijskih analitičara prognozira kako će izborna drama u Clevelendu sasvim sigurno biti strasna i obojena osobnim tonovima, premda trenutni politički šampion SAD-a i njegov izazivač zajedno imaju više od 150 godina.

TV debate rijetko kad mijenjaju tok američkih izbora: većinom djeluju kao katalizator već prisutnih trendova, no znaju prouzročiti jaku nervozu kod posrnulih takmaca i time utjecati na njihove daljnje nastupe. "Pospani Joe", kako se u medijima često naziva Bidena, u ring ulazi kao uvjerljivi favorit, s istraživanjima koja mu nakon medijskih otkrića Trumpovih poreznih muljaža i nasilne nominacije nove sutkinje Vrhovnog suda daju još veću prednost. U postocima, demokratski kandidat ima oko 50 posto, dok branitelj ključeva Bijele kuće ima manje od 43. U većini saveznih država sluti se Bidenova pobjeda, dok je Trump siguran u samo 22. Naročito je znakovito što ankete sugeriraju da je Biden uvjerljivi favorit u Michiganu, Pennsylvaniji i Wisconsinu, tj. u tri industrijske države koje je Trump 2016. osvojio s manje od 1 posto prednosti. Tijesno će biti u Arizoni, Floridi, Sjevernoj Karolini, Georgiji...no ne treba zaboraviti da je do izbora još više od mjesec dana.

Ne treba nikad gubiti iz vida sistemske greške američkog elektorskog izbornog sistema: Hillary Clinton je 2016. također predvodila u anketama te na biralištima osvojila gotovo tri milijuna glasova više od Donalda Trumpa, ali je svejedno izgubila izbore.  Znakovito je da brojne kladionice još posve ne otpisuju Trumpa kao pobjednika, za razliku od političkih analitičara.  Gotovo svi ugledni izborni i politički stručnjaci slabo su uvjereni u mogućnost još jednog Trumpova mandata. Od The Economista do web stranice FiveThirtyEight , gotovo svi predviđaju Bidenovu pobjedu.

Uzimajući u obzir osobnosti dvaju rivala, komunikacijski eksperti tvrde kako će njihov tv-duel ponajviše nalikovati na razgovor gluhih; ne treba očekivati da će ijedan slušati riječi onoga drugog.  Trump će forsirati svoja ekonomska postignuća prije nego što je zemlju zahvatila pandemija, te će jamačno napasti obitelj Biden, a posebno Joeva sina Huntera koji je bio u upravi ukrajinske energetske tvrtke dok mu je otac bio američki potpredsjednik. Biden će se željeti usredotočiti na predsjednikovo katastrofalno vođenje pandemije, te na golemi jaz između onoga što je Donald Trump pričao novinaru Bobu Woodwardu i onoga što je javno govorio američkom narodu. Dođu li na tapet američki rasni nemiri zbog policijskog nasilja, Trump će zagovarati zakon i red i osuđivati ljevičarsku rulju koja pali i pljačka, a Biden će govoriti o rasnoj nepravdi i potrebi ozdravljenja: dvojac će djelovati iz dva paralelna svemira.

Brojni američki mediji su, međutim, suglasni kako bi najnovija tema Trumpovih minimalnih poreza pred tv-kamerama lako mogla pojesti sve one druge, uspije li Biden u nju dovoljno duboko ukopati svog protukandidata.  Predsjednik-milijarder koji u najboljem slučaju godišnji porez na dohodak plaća par stotina dolara - dok ubire milijunske porezne olakšice i u koje računa čak i namještanje svoje bizarne frizure pred izlazak pred kamere - uistinu je endemska vrsta u Bijeloj kući. Sjedinjene države nikad nisu bile država socijalizma, no tamo nikad nije bilo ni ovakvog socijalizma za superbogataše kakvog je svojom vlašću uspostavio Donald Trump.

Prva od tri socijalno distancirane tv-debate između Donalda Trumpa i njegova demokratskog protukandidata Joea Bidena održava se večeras u Clevelendu u saveznoj državi Ohio.

Predviđa se da će raspravu pratiti deseci milijuna Amerikanaca, baš kao i dva nastupajuća listopadska duela u Miamiju i Nashvilleu. Većina medijskih analitičara prognozira kako će izborna drama u Clevelendu sasvim sigurno biti strasna i obojena osobnim tonovima, premda trenutni politički šampion SAD-a i njegov izazivač zajedno imaju više od 150 godina.

TV debate rijetko kad mijenjaju tok američkih izbora: većinom djeluju kao katalizator već prisutnih trendova, no znaju prouzročiti jaku nervozu kod posrnulih takmaca i time utjecati na njihove daljnje nastupe. "Pospani Joe", kako se u medijima često naziva Bidena, u ring ulazi kao uvjerljivi favorit, s istraživanjima koja mu nakon medijskih otkrića Trumpovih poreznih muljaža i nasilne nominacije nove sutkinje Vrhovnog suda daju još veću prednost. U postocima, demokratski kandidat ima oko 50 posto, dok branitelj ključeva Bijele kuće ima manje od 43. U većini saveznih država sluti se Bidenova pobjeda, dok je Trump siguran u samo 22. Naročito je znakovito što ankete sugeriraju da je Biden uvjerljivi favorit u Michiganu, Pennsylvaniji i Wisconsinu, tj. u tri industrijske države koje je Trump 2016. osvojio s manje od 1 posto prednosti. Tijesno će biti u Arizoni, Floridi, Sjevernoj Karolini, Georgiji...no ne treba zaboraviti da je do izbora još više od mjesec dana.

Ne treba nikad gubiti iz vida sistemske greške američkog elektorskog izbornog sistema: Hillary Clinton je 2016. također predvodila u anketama te na biralištima osvojila gotovo tri milijuna glasova više od Donalda Trumpa, ali je svejedno izgubila izbore.  Znakovito je da brojne kladionice još posve ne otpisuju Trumpa kao pobjednika, za razliku od političkih analitičara.  Gotovo svi ugledni izborni i politički stručnjaci slabo su uvjereni u mogućnost još jednog Trumpova mandata. Od The Economista do web stranice FiveThirtyEight , gotovo svi predviđaju Bidenovu pobjedu.

Uzimajući u obzir osobnosti dvaju rivala, komunikacijski eksperti tvrde kako će njihov tv-duel ponajviše nalikovati na razgovor gluhih; ne treba očekivati da će ijedan slušati riječi onoga drugog.  Trump će forsirati svoja ekonomska postignuća prije nego što je zemlju zahvatila pandemija, te će jamačno napasti obitelj Biden, a posebno Joeva sina Huntera koji je bio u upravi ukrajinske energetske tvrtke dok mu je otac bio američki potpredsjednik. Biden će se željeti usredotočiti na predsjednikovo katastrofalno vođenje pandemije, te na golemi jaz između onoga što je Donald Trump pričao novinaru Bobu Woodwardu i onoga što je javno govorio američkom narodu. Dođu li na tapet američki rasni nemiri zbog policijskog nasilja, Trump će zagovarati zakon i red i osuđivati ljevičarsku rulju koja pali i pljačka, a Biden će govoriti o rasnoj nepravdi i potrebi ozdravljenja: dvojac će djelovati iz dva paralelna svemira.

Brojni američki mediji su, međutim, suglasni kako bi najnovija tema Trumpovih minimalnih poreza pred tv-kamerama lako mogla pojesti sve one druge, uspije li Biden u nju dovoljno duboko ukopati svog protukandidata.  Predsjednik-milijarder koji u najboljem slučaju godišnji porez na dohodak plaća par stotina dolara - dok ubire milijunske porezne olakšice i u koje računa čak i namještanje svoje bizarne frizure pred izlazak pred kamere - uistinu je endemska vrsta u Bijeloj kući. Sjedinjene države nikad nisu bile država socijalizma, no tamo nikad nije bilo ni ovakvog socijalizma za superbogataše kakvog je svojom vlašću uspostavio Donald Trump.

Večeras prvi TV duel Trump - Biden: predviđa se da će raspravu pratiti deseci milijuna Amerikanaca, ‘Pospani Joe‘ u ring ulazi kao uvjerljivi favorit

Prva od tri socijalno distancirane tv-debate između Donalda Trumpa i njegova demokratskog protukandidata Joea Bidena održava se večeras u Clevelendu u saveznoj državi Ohio.

Predviđa se da će raspravu pratiti deseci milijuna Amerikanaca, baš kao i dva nastupajuća listopadska duela u Miamiju i Nashvilleu. Većina medijskih analitičara prognozira kako će izborna drama u Clevelendu sasvim sigurno biti strasna i obojena osobnim tonovima, premda trenutni politički šampion SAD-a i njegov izazivač zajedno imaju više od 150 godina.

TV debate rijetko kad mijenjaju tok američkih izbora: većinom djeluju kao katalizator već prisutnih trendova, no znaju prouzročiti jaku nervozu kod posrnulih takmaca i time utjecati na njihove daljnje nastupe. "Pospani Joe", kako se u medijima često...
