Street Journal je objavio kako su kineske vlasti odbile dati podatke o ranim slučajevima covida-19 na što je reagirala Bijela kuća i pozvala u subotu Kinu da stavi na raspolaganje podatke iz prvih dana izbijanja covida-19 navodeći da je "duboko zabrinuta" zbog načina na koji su prezentirani prvi nalazi Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) o podrijetlu koronavirusa.

Na što je odgovorila kineska ambasada u Washingtonu: "SAD su nanijele štetu multilateralnoj suradnji i Svjetskoj zdravstvenoj organizaciji posljednjih godina i ne bi smjele "upirati prstom" u Kinu i druge zemlje koje su podržale WHO tijekom pandemije covida-19".

Tijekom boravka u Kini, misija WHO-a je objavila da je glavna "zagonetka“ covida-19 u tome što prvi asimptomatski pacijenti nisu znali da nose virus, piše Jutarnji list.

"Naivno je misliti da ćemo doći do nultog zaraženog“, kazao je Dominic Dwyer, mikrobiolog i stručnjak za zarazne bolesti, član misije. Rani slučajevi su zabilježeni u studenom 2019. godine, no najvažnije je ono što se dogodilo nedugo prije toga, rekao je.

Dwyer se slaže s Peterom Daszakom, zoologom i stručnjakom za životinjske bolesti, također članom tima, koji naglašava da će biti jako teško shvatiti porijeklo koronavirusa. "Čak i kod SARS-a i ebole imamo neke dobre ideje, no nitko nije siguran“, rekao je Daszak Reutersu. "Kod HIV-a ne znamo točne okolnosti“.

Istražitelji su posjetili bolnice, istraživačke centre i tržnicu s morskom hranom gdje je zabilježen prvi slučaj, no njihovi kontakti u Wuhanu ograničeni su na posjete koje su organizirali kineski domaćini.

Peter Ben Embarek, koji je vodio misiju, u Švicarskoj je potvrdio da su otkrili znakove da je izbijanje epidemije bilo puno šire u Wuhanu u prosincu 2019. nego što se ranije mislilo. Posebno je uznemirujuća njegova izjava da su, po prvi put, utvrdili da je u Wuhanu u prosincu 2019. godine bilo više od deset sojeva virusa.

Tim je razgovarao s osobom koju su Kinezi definirali prvim pacijentom. Riječ je o muškarcu u 40-im godinama koji, što je intrigantno, nije dolazio na tržnicu koja se smatra izvorištem virusa, nije se kretao po prirodi nego je, rekli bismo, ‘običan činovnik’. Koji nije ni putovao.

Šef misije je rekao da su im Kinezi podastrli podatke o 174 zaražene osobe u prosincu, ali da su zaključili, sukladno dijagnozama kineskih liječnika, da ih je moglo biti i više od tisuću.

Misija je imala uvid i u djelomične genetske uzorke pa su uspjeli prikupiti 13 različitih genetskih sekvenci virusa SARS-COV-2 od prosinca 2019. Sekvence bi, ako se usporede sa širim podacima o pacijentima u Kini tijekom 2019. godein, mogle pružiti dragocjene podatke o geografiji i trenutku izbijanja prije prosinca. Šef misije je rekao CNN-u: “Neki su (virusi) s tržnica ... Neki od njih nisu povezani s tržnicama”.

“Otkriće toliko različitih mogućih inačica virusa moglo bi nagovijestiti da je cirkulirao dulje od samo tog mjeseca (prosinca), kao što su neki virolozi ranije sugerirali. Ovaj genetski materijal vjerojatno je prvi fizički dokaz koji se pojavio na međunarodnom nivou da bi ojačao takvu teoriju”, zaključuje CNN. "Ti se podaci uklapaju u druge analize da se virus pojavio u ljudskoj populaciji prije prosinca 2019. godine i da je postojalo razdoblje neprimijećenog prijenosa prije nego što je prvi put otkriven na tržnici Huanan”, navode iz misije WHO-a.

Kineski znanstvenici su im dali uvid u slučajeve 92 osobe za koje sumnjaju da su možda bile zaražene Covidom-19 u listopadu i studenom, a riječ je o ozbiljno bolesnim osobama sa simptomima zaraze. Gospodin Embarek je CNN-u rekao kako je iznenađujuće da te 92 osobe nisu bile grupirane, što je uobičajeno u slučaju izbijanja epidemije, nego su bili raspršeni u malim brojevima tijekom oba mjeseca i to po cijeloj pokrajini Hubei u kojoj se nalazi grad Wuhan. Misija nije sigurna jesu li ta 92 slučaja povezana s koronavirusom i što bi mogao značiti izostanak grupiranja.

Još za boravka u Kini misija WHO-a je objavila da nije mogla utvrditi podrijetlo pandemije covida-19 te da teorija o laboratorijskom podrijetlu koronavirusa nije vjerojatna, ali nije uspjela identificirati životinju s koje je bolest potekla.

Gospodin Embarek je potvrdio da je rad misije bio hektičan, da su ‘na vratu’ imali cijeli svijet koji je pratio svaki njihov korak, da je riječ o znanstvenicima koji su poznati po burnom temperamentu što je izazivalo žestoke rasprave. Nada se da će Kina omogućiti i nove slične misije kako bi se što više saznalo o virusu.

Kratka napomena: WHO je drugu misiju početkom ovog mjeseca poslao u DR Kongo gdje se širi zaraza ebolom.

Street Journal je objavio kako su kineske vlasti odbile dati podatke o ranim slučajevima covida-19 na što je reagirala Bijela kuća i pozvala u subotu Kinu da stavi na raspolaganje podatke iz prvih dana izbijanja covida-19 navodeći da je "duboko zabrinuta" zbog načina na koji su prezentirani prvi nalazi Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) o podrijetlu koronavirusa.

Na što je odgovorila kineska ambasada u Washingtonu: "SAD su nanijele štetu multilateralnoj suradnji i Svjetskoj zdravstvenoj organizaciji posljednjih godina i ne bi smjele "upirati prstom" u Kinu i druge zemlje koje su podržale WHO tijekom pandemije covida-19".

Tijekom boravka u Kini, misija WHO-a je objavila da je glavna "zagonetka“ covida-19 u tome što prvi asimptomatski pacijenti nisu znali da nose virus, piše Jutarnji list.

"Naivno je misliti da ćemo doći do nultog zaraženog“, kazao je Dominic Dwyer, mikrobiolog i stručnjak za zarazne bolesti, član misije. Rani slučajevi su zabilježeni u studenom 2019. godine, no najvažnije je ono što se dogodilo nedugo prije toga, rekao je.

Dwyer se slaže s Peterom Daszakom, zoologom i stručnjakom za životinjske bolesti, također članom tima, koji naglašava da će biti jako teško shvatiti porijeklo koronavirusa. "Čak i kod SARS-a i ebole imamo neke dobre ideje, no nitko nije siguran“, rekao je Daszak Reutersu. "Kod HIV-a ne znamo točne okolnosti“.

Istražitelji su posjetili bolnice, istraživačke centre i tržnicu s morskom hranom gdje je zabilježen prvi slučaj, no njihovi kontakti u Wuhanu ograničeni su na posjete koje su organizirali kineski domaćini.

Peter Ben Embarek, koji je vodio misiju, u Švicarskoj je potvrdio da su otkrili znakove da je izbijanje epidemije bilo puno šire u Wuhanu u prosincu 2019. nego što se ranije mislilo. Posebno je uznemirujuća njegova izjava da su, po prvi put, utvrdili da je u Wuhanu u prosincu 2019. godine bilo više od deset sojeva virusa.

Tim je razgovarao s osobom koju su Kinezi definirali prvim pacijentom. Riječ je o muškarcu u 40-im godinama koji, što je intrigantno, nije dolazio na tržnicu koja se smatra izvorištem virusa, nije se kretao po prirodi nego je, rekli bismo, ‘običan činovnik’. Koji nije ni putovao.

Šef misije je rekao da su im Kinezi podastrli podatke o 174 zaražene osobe u prosincu, ali da su zaključili, sukladno dijagnozama kineskih liječnika, da ih je moglo biti i više od tisuću.

Misija je imala uvid i u djelomične genetske uzorke pa su uspjeli prikupiti 13 različitih genetskih sekvenci virusa SARS-COV-2 od prosinca 2019. Sekvence bi, ako se usporede sa širim podacima o pacijentima u Kini tijekom 2019. godein, mogle pružiti dragocjene podatke o geografiji i trenutku izbijanja prije prosinca. Šef misije je rekao CNN-u: “Neki su (virusi) s tržnica ... Neki od njih nisu povezani s tržnicama”.

“Otkriće toliko različitih mogućih inačica virusa moglo bi nagovijestiti da je cirkulirao dulje od samo tog mjeseca (prosinca), kao što su neki virolozi ranije sugerirali. Ovaj genetski materijal vjerojatno je prvi fizički dokaz koji se pojavio na međunarodnom nivou da bi ojačao takvu teoriju”, zaključuje CNN. "Ti se podaci uklapaju u druge analize da se virus pojavio u ljudskoj populaciji prije prosinca 2019. godine i da je postojalo razdoblje neprimijećenog prijenosa prije nego što je prvi put otkriven na tržnici Huanan”, navode iz misije WHO-a.

Kineski znanstvenici su im dali uvid u slučajeve 92 osobe za koje sumnjaju da su možda bile zaražene Covidom-19 u listopadu i studenom, a riječ je o ozbiljno bolesnim osobama sa simptomima zaraze. Gospodin Embarek je CNN-u rekao kako je iznenađujuće da te 92 osobe nisu bile grupirane, što je uobičajeno u slučaju izbijanja epidemije, nego su bili raspršeni u malim brojevima tijekom oba mjeseca i to po cijeloj pokrajini Hubei u kojoj se nalazi grad Wuhan. Misija nije sigurna jesu li ta 92 slučaja povezana s koronavirusom i što bi mogao značiti izostanak grupiranja.

Još za boravka u Kini misija WHO-a je objavila da nije mogla utvrditi podrijetlo pandemije covida-19 te da teorija o laboratorijskom podrijetlu koronavirusa nije vjerojatna, ali nije uspjela identificirati životinju s koje je bolest potekla.

Gospodin Embarek je potvrdio da je rad misije bio hektičan, da su ‘na vratu’ imali cijeli svijet koji je pratio svaki njihov korak, da je riječ o znanstvenicima koji su poznati po burnom temperamentu što je izazivalo žestoke rasprave. Nada se da će Kina omogućiti i nove slične misije kako bi se što više saznalo o virusu.

Kratka napomena: WHO je drugu misiju početkom ovog mjeseca poslao u DR Kongo gdje se širi zaraza ebolom.
