Šefovi obrane upozorili su vojno osoblje da ne putuje u Ukrajinu kako bi se borilo protiv Rusije zbog straha da je nekoliko vojnika otišlo u Ukrajinu kako bi se suprotstavilo vojnicima Vladimira Putina.

Ministarstvo obrane priopćilo je da je svjesno "malog broja" vojnika koji su "prekršili zapovijedi i otišli bez dopuštenja, a možda su otputovali u Ukrajinu".

Izvještaji upućuju na to da su najmanje četiri Britanca pobjegla kako bi se pridružili bojišnici u Ukrajini. Među njima je i tinejdžer Coldstream Guardsman, koji je napustio svoje mjesto pod zaštitom kraljice kako bi otputovao u Ukrajinu, navodi The Sun, prenosi RTL.

Oglušili se o zapovijedi

Ministarstvo obrane odbilo je komentirati pojedinačne slučajeve, ali glasnogovornik je za The Independent rekao: “Svjesni smo malog broja pojedinačnih vojnika koji su se oglušili o naredbe i otišli bez dopuštenja, a možda su u Ukrajinu otputovali u osobnom svojstvu. Aktivno ih i snažno potičemo da se vrate u UK”.

Glasnogovornik je rekao da je cijelom osoblju zabranjeno putovati u Ukrajinu do daljnjeg. "Ovo vrijedi bez obzira na to je li službenik na dopustu ili ne", dodali su, prije nego što su upozorili da će se osoblje koje odbije nalog "suočiti s disciplinskim i administrativnim posljedicama".

Sva putovanja u Ukrajinu zabranjena su prema službenom savjetu britanske vojske. Navodi se da su vojni čelnici zabrinuti da bi, ako budu zarobljeni, Kremlj mogao iskoristiti vojnike kao izgovor da optuži Britaniju za ulazak u rat.

U savjetu se navodi da odlazak u Ukrajinu u borbu ili pomoć drugima koji su uključeni u sukob može biti protiv zakona i može dovesti do kaznenog progona.

Ministar bi pomogao na drugi način

UK također ima ograničenu konzularnu podršku u Ukrajini i malo je vjerojatno da će moći ponuditi pomoć bilo kome u zemlji.

Podrazumijeva se da su dužnosnici obrane Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva itekako svjesni želje mnogih Britanaca da pomognu Ukrajini nakon ruske invazije, ali jačanje ukrajinske obrambene sposobnosti je jedina opcija.

Šefovi obrane upozorili su vojno osoblje da ne putuje u Ukrajinu kako bi se borilo protiv Rusije zbog straha da je nekoliko vojnika otišlo u Ukrajinu kako bi se suprotstavilo vojnicima Vladimira Putina.

Ministarstvo obrane priopćilo je da je svjesno "malog broja" vojnika koji su "prekršili zapovijedi i otišli bez dopuštenja, a možda su otputovali u Ukrajinu".

Izvještaji upućuju na to da su najmanje četiri Britanca pobjegla kako bi se pridružili bojišnici u Ukrajini. Među njima je i tinejdžer Coldstream Guardsman, koji je napustio svoje mjesto pod zaštitom kraljice kako bi otputovao u Ukrajinu, navodi The Sun, prenosi RTL.

Govore da je 19-godišnjak ostavio poruku roditeljima nakon što je rezervirao kartu u jednom smjeru za Poljsku, piše list, dodajući da planira prijeći granicu kako bi se povezao s kijevskim oružanim snagama.

Oglušili se o zapovijedi

Ministarstvo obrane odbilo je komentirati pojedinačne slučajeve, ali glasnogovornik je za The Independent rekao: “Svjesni smo malog broja pojedinačnih vojnika koji su se oglušili o naredbe i otišli bez dopuštenja, a možda su u Ukrajinu otputovali u osobnom svojstvu. Aktivno ih i snažno potičemo da se vrate u UK”.

Glasnogovornik je rekao da je cijelom osoblju zabranjeno putovati u Ukrajinu do daljnjeg. "Ovo vrijedi bez obzira na to je li službenik na dopustu ili ne", dodali su, prije nego što su upozorili da će se osoblje koje odbije nalog "suočiti s disciplinskim i administrativnim posljedicama".

Sva putovanja u Ukrajinu zabranjena su prema službenom savjetu britanske vojske. Navodi se da su vojni čelnici zabrinuti da bi, ako budu zarobljeni, Kremlj mogao iskoristiti vojnike kao izgovor da optuži Britaniju za ulazak u rat.

U savjetu se navodi da odlazak u Ukrajinu u borbu ili pomoć drugima koji su uključeni u sukob može biti protiv zakona i može dovesti do kaznenog progona.

Ministar bi pomogao na drugi način

UK također ima ograničenu konzularnu podršku u Ukrajini i malo je vjerojatno da će moći ponuditi pomoć bilo kome u zemlji.

Podrazumijeva se da su dužnosnici obrane Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva itekako svjesni želje mnogih Britanaca da pomognu Ukrajini nakon ruske invazije, ali jačanje ukrajinske obrambene sposobnosti je jedina opcija.
