Bidenova administracija planira u Ukrajinu poslati proturaketni obrambeni sustav Patriot, a plan isporuke mogao bi biti objavljen već ovog tjedna, naveli su dvojica američkih dužnosnika i viši dužnosnik administracije, javlja CNN.

Plan Pentagona još treba odobriti ministar obrane Lloyd Austin prije nego što se pošalje predsjedniku Joeu Bidenu na potpis. Tri dužnosnika rekla su za CNN da se očekuje odobrenje.

Podsjetimo, Ukrajina je pozvala SAD da im pošalje napredni sustav protuzračne obrane dugog dometa koji je učinkovit u presretanju balističkih i krstarećih projektila - naime, zemlja se nalazi pod udarom ruskih projektila i dronova koji uništavaju ključnu elektroenergetsku infrastrukturu diljem zemlje. Bio bi to najučinkovitiji obrambeni sustav oružja dugog dometa poslan u zemlju pogođenu ratom, a dužnosnici kažu da će pomoći u osiguravanju zračnog prostora za zemlje NATO-a u istočnoj Europi.

Obuka u Njemačkoj

Nije jasno koliko će ih biti poslano, no nakon što se planovi finaliziraju, očekuje se da će Patrioti biti isporučeni u nadolazećim danima, a Ukrajinci će biti obučeni da ih koriste u bazi američke vojske u Grafenwoehru u Njemačkoj, rekli su dužnosnici.

Ukrajina već mjesecima traži ovaj obrambeni sustav, a unatoč brojnim logističkim izazovima i preprekama "stvarnost onoga što se događa na terenu" nagnala je američku administraciju da donese ovakvu odluku, rekao je viši dužnosnik administracije CNN-u, ističući pritom intenzivne ruske raketne napade.

No, baterije sustava Patriot zahtijevaju desetke obučenih vojnika koji bi njima pravilno upravljali. Obuka za "upravljanje" Patriotom obično traje nekoliko mjeseci.

Sustav Patriot smatra se jednim od najučinkovitijih PZO sustava dugog dometa te potencijalno može oboriti ruske projektile i zrakoplove daleko od njihovih ciljeva unutar Ukrajine.

Patriot sadrži multifunkcijski radar koji istovremeno obavlja osmatranje zračnog prostora, otkrivanje i praćenje cilja i raketnog projektila, ozračivanje cilja i predaju komandi za vođenje rakete.

Također ima kontejner s četiri cijevi koji služi za transport, čuvanje i lansiranje projektila. Svaki kontejner sadrži po jedan raketni projektil. Svaka lansirna cijev-kontejner zasebno je povezana sa sistemom za ispaljivanje. Ukupna masa rakete je 1000 kg, a s kontejnerom 1600 kg. Projektil se sastoji od balističke kape, sistema za navođenje, bojeve glave, pogonske grupe i sistema za upravljanje. Bojeva glava teška je 70 do 80 kg.

Već poslani u Poljsku

Prethodno je SAD slao raketne baterije Patriot saveznicima u NATO-u poput Poljske u cilju jačanja njihove obrane, a slao je i druge PZO sustave u Ukrajinu kao pomoć protiv ruske invazije, poput raketnog sustava zemlja-zrak srednjeg dometa NASAMS.

Dosad je više od desetak američkih saveznika, uključujući Njemačku, Japan i Izrael, također kupilo sustav.

Prošlog mjeseca američki državni tajnik Antony Blinken rekao je za CNN da je SAD "vrlo usredotočen" na pružanje sustava protuzračne obrane Ukrajini.

"Sada smo vrlo usredotočeni na sustave protuzračne obrane, i to ne samo mi, već i mnoge druge zemlje", rekao je Blinken za CNN.

"I radimo na tome da Ukrajinci dobiju te sustave što je brže moguće, ali i što učinkovitije, osiguravajući da su obučeni za njih i da imaju sposobnost održavati ih. Imamo vrlo promišljen proces koji je uspostavio ministar obrane Lloyd Austin u Ramsteinu".

Bidenova administracija planira u Ukrajinu poslati proturaketni obrambeni sustav Patriot, a plan isporuke mogao bi biti objavljen već ovog tjedna, naveli su dvojica američkih dužnosnika i viši dužnosnik administracije, javlja CNN.

Plan Pentagona još treba odobriti ministar obrane Lloyd Austin prije nego što se pošalje predsjedniku Joeu Bidenu na potpis. Tri dužnosnika rekla su za CNN da se očekuje odobrenje.

Podsjetimo, Ukrajina je pozvala SAD da im pošalje napredni sustav protuzračne obrane dugog dometa koji je učinkovit u presretanju balističkih i krstarećih projektila - naime, zemlja se nalazi pod udarom ruskih projektila i dronova koji uništavaju ključnu elektroenergetsku infrastrukturu diljem zemlje. Bio bi to najučinkovitiji obrambeni sustav oružja dugog dometa poslan u zemlju pogođenu ratom, a dužnosnici kažu da će pomoći u osiguravanju zračnog prostora za zemlje NATO-a u istočnoj Europi.

Obuka u Njemačkoj

Nije jasno koliko će ih biti poslano, no nakon što se planovi finaliziraju, očekuje se da će Patrioti biti isporučeni u nadolazećim danima, a Ukrajinci će biti obučeni da ih koriste u bazi američke vojske u Grafenwoehru u Njemačkoj, rekli su dužnosnici.

Ukrajina već mjesecima traži ovaj obrambeni sustav, a unatoč brojnim logističkim izazovima i preprekama "stvarnost onoga što se događa na terenu" nagnala je američku administraciju da donese ovakvu odluku, rekao je viši dužnosnik administracije CNN-u, ističući pritom intenzivne ruske raketne napade.

No, baterije sustava Patriot zahtijevaju desetke obučenih vojnika koji bi njima pravilno upravljali. Obuka za "upravljanje" Patriotom obično traje nekoliko mjeseci.

Sustav Patriot smatra se jednim od najučinkovitijih PZO sustava dugog dometa te potencijalno može oboriti ruske projektile i zrakoplove daleko od njihovih ciljeva unutar Ukrajine.

Patriot sadrži multifunkcijski radar koji istovremeno obavlja osmatranje zračnog prostora, otkrivanje i praćenje cilja i raketnog projektila, ozračivanje cilja i predaju komandi za vođenje rakete.

Također ima kontejner s četiri cijevi koji služi za transport, čuvanje i lansiranje projektila. Svaki kontejner sadrži po jedan raketni projektil. Svaka lansirna cijev-kontejner zasebno je povezana sa sistemom za ispaljivanje. Ukupna masa rakete je 1000 kg, a s kontejnerom 1600 kg. Projektil se sastoji od balističke kape, sistema za navođenje, bojeve glave, pogonske grupe i sistema za upravljanje. Bojeva glava teška je 70 do 80 kg.

Već poslani u Poljsku

Prethodno je SAD slao raketne baterije Patriot saveznicima u NATO-u poput Poljske u cilju jačanja njihove obrane, a slao je i druge PZO sustave u Ukrajinu kao pomoć protiv ruske invazije, poput raketnog sustava zemlja-zrak srednjeg dometa NASAMS.

Dosad je više od desetak američkih saveznika, uključujući Njemačku, Japan i Izrael, također kupilo sustav.

Prošlog mjeseca američki državni tajnik Antony Blinken rekao je za CNN da je SAD "vrlo usredotočen" na pružanje sustava protuzračne obrane Ukrajini.

"Sada smo vrlo usredotočeni na sustave protuzračne obrane, i to ne samo mi, već i mnoge druge zemlje", rekao je Blinken za CNN.

"I radimo na tome da Ukrajinci dobiju te sustave što je brže moguće, ali i što učinkovitije, osiguravajući da su obučeni za njih i da imaju sposobnost održavati ih. Imamo vrlo promišljen proces koji je uspostavio ministar obrane Lloyd Austin u Ramsteinu".

Bidenova administracija planira u Ukrajinu poslati proturaketni obrambeni sustav Patriot, a plan isporuke mogao bi biti objavljen već ovog tjedna, naveli su dvojica američkih dužnosnika i viši dužnosnik administracije, javlja CNN.

Plan Pentagona još treba odobriti ministar obrane Lloyd Austin prije nego što se pošalje predsjedniku Joeu Bidenu na potpis. Tri dužnosnika rekla su za CNN da se očekuje odobrenje.

Podsjetimo, Ukrajina je pozvala SAD da im pošalje napredni sustav protuzračne obrane dugog dometa koji je učinkovit u presretanju balističkih i krstarećih projektila - naime, zemlja se nalazi pod udarom ruskih projektila i dronova koji uništavaju ključnu elektroenergetsku infrastrukturu diljem zemlje. Bio bi to najučinkovitiji obrambeni sustav oružja dugog...
