Slavna "krtica", bivši britanski dvostruki agent George Blake koji je špijunirao za sovjetski KGB tijekom 1950-ih prije nego je prešao na Istok, umro je u dobi od 98 godina, objavile su u subotu ruske novinske agencije.

"Danas je umro legendarni obavještajac George Blake. Iskreno je volio našu zemlju, divio se podvizima našeg naroda tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata", rekao je glasnogovornik ruske obavještajne službe SVR, Sergej Ivanov, prenosi agencija France presse.
Bivši član otpora u Nizozemskoj tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata i zatim agent britanske obavještajne službe MI6, tijekom Hladnog rata, George Blake je ponudio Sovjetima svoje usluge 1950-ih nakon što je svjedočio američkom bombardiranju civilnog stanovništva Koreje.

On je posljednji preživjeli slavne generacije britanskih dvostrukih agenata. Živio je u Rusiji od sovjetskog doba. 
KGB-u je dao imena stotine agenata i otkrio tajni tunel u Istočnom Berlinu korišten za špijuniranje Sovjeta. 
Izdao ga je poljski dvostruki agent, pa je 1961. u Velikoj Britaniji osuđen na 42 godine zatvora.
Pet godina kasnije je pobjegao i prešao u Istočnu Njemačku i dalje do Moskve.

Slavna "krtica", bivši britanski dvostruki agent George Blake koji je špijunirao za sovjetski KGB tijekom 1950-ih prije nego je prešao na Istok, umro je u dobi od 98 godina, objavile su u subotu ruske novinske agencije.

"Danas je umro legendarni obavještajac George Blake. Iskreno je volio našu zemlju, divio se podvizima našeg naroda tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata", rekao je glasnogovornik ruske obavještajne službe SVR, Sergej Ivanov, prenosi agencija France presse.
Bivši član otpora u Nizozemskoj tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata i zatim agent britanske obavještajne službe MI6, tijekom Hladnog rata, George Blake je ponudio Sovjetima svoje usluge 1950-ih nakon što je svjedočio američkom bombardiranju civilnog stanovništva Koreje.

On je posljednji preživjeli slavne generacije britanskih dvostrukih agenata. Živio je u Rusiji od sovjetskog doba. 
KGB-u je dao imena stotine agenata i otkrio tajni tunel u Istočnom Berlinu korišten za špijuniranje Sovjeta. 
Izdao ga je poljski dvostruki agent, pa je 1961. u Velikoj Britaniji osuđen na 42 godine zatvora.
Pet godina kasnije je pobjegao i prešao u Istočnu Njemačku i dalje do Moskve.

U Rusiji u 98. godini umro George Blake, posljednji preživjeli slavne generacije britanskih dvostrukih agenata

Slavna "krtica", bivši britanski dvostruki agent George Blake koji je špijunirao za sovjetski KGB tijekom 1950-ih prije nego je prešao na Istok, umro je u dobi od 98 godina, objavile su u subotu ruske novinske agencije.

"Danas je umro legendarni obavještajac George Blake. Iskreno je volio našu zemlju, divio se podvizima našeg naroda tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata", rekao je glasnogovornik ruske obavještajne službe SVR, Sergej Ivanov, prenosi agencija France presse.
Bivši član otpora u Nizozemskoj tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata i zatim agent britanske obavještajne službe MI6, tijekom Hladnog rata, George Blake je ponudio Sovjetima svoje usluge 1950-ih nakon što je svjedočio američkom bombardiranju civilnog stanovništva Koreje.

On je posljednji preživjeli slavne generacije...
