U Italiji se danima bilježi kontinuirani porast broja oboljelih od koronavirusne bolesti, dok zemlja uvodi sve snažnije mjere ograničenja kako bi zaustavila širenje zaraze, prenose svjetske agencije.

U srijedu evidentirano je 21.267 novozaraženih koronavirusom, u utorak 18.765, u ponedjeljak 13.846 novozaraženih, pa je ukupni broj osoba koje su od početka epidemije zaražene tim virusom premašio 3,3 milijuna.

U zemlji svakodnevno umre više od 400 osoba, u utorak čak 551, što je najveći broj od kraja siječnja dok se zemlja bori da ograniči treći val epidemije, potaknut novim zaraznijim varijantama virusa, i ubrza sporu kampanju cijepljenja.

Prema podacima ministarstva zdravlja od koronavirusne bolesti ukupno je od početka epidemije u veljači 2020. umrlo 106.339 osoba.

Do sada je dano oko 8,1 milijuna doza cjepiva, a obje doze primilo je tek nešto više od 2,5 milijuna ljudi, odnosno oko četiri posto stanoništva.

Kampanja cijepljenja posebno je otežana u jednoj od najpogođenijih pokrajina - Lombardiji zbog neprekidnih problema s prijavama za cijepljenje, pa u nekim centrima tijekom vikenda gotovo da i nije bilo cijepljenja.

Regionalni guverner Attilio Fontana tražio je ostavke upravnog odbora Ariae, tvrtke u vlasništvu pokrajine koja upravlja prijavama za cijepljenje, zbog tih propusta.

Pokrajina će sada prijeći na sustav prijavljivanja koji je razvila talijanska poštanska služba i koji se već koristi u drugim dijelovima zemlje.

Premijer Mario Draghi, koji je prošlog mjeseca stupio na dužnost, obećao je veliko ubrzanja cijepljenja upozoravajući na kaos u pojedinim regijama.

Draghijeva vlada namjerava utrostručiti tempo cijepljenja na 500.000 doza dnevno do sredine travnja s nadom da će postići kolektivni imunitet do kraja ljeta.

U Italiji se danima bilježi kontinuirani porast broja oboljelih od koronavirusne bolesti, dok zemlja uvodi sve snažnije mjere ograničenja kako bi zaustavila širenje zaraze, prenose svjetske agencije.

U srijedu evidentirano je 21.267 novozaraženih koronavirusom, u utorak 18.765, u ponedjeljak 13.846 novozaraženih, pa je ukupni broj osoba koje su od početka epidemije zaražene tim virusom premašio 3,3 milijuna.

U zemlji svakodnevno umre više od 400 osoba, u utorak čak 551, što je najveći broj od kraja siječnja dok se zemlja bori da ograniči treći val epidemije, potaknut novim zaraznijim varijantama virusa, i ubrza sporu kampanju cijepljenja.

Prema podacima ministarstva zdravlja od koronavirusne bolesti ukupno je od početka epidemije u veljači 2020. umrlo 106.339 osoba.

Do sada je dano oko 8,1 milijuna doza cjepiva, a obje doze primilo je tek nešto više od 2,5 milijuna ljudi, odnosno oko četiri posto stanoništva.

Kampanja cijepljenja posebno je otežana u jednoj od najpogođenijih pokrajina - Lombardiji zbog neprekidnih problema s prijavama za cijepljenje, pa u nekim centrima tijekom vikenda gotovo da i nije bilo cijepljenja.

Regionalni guverner Attilio Fontana tražio je ostavke upravnog odbora Ariae, tvrtke u vlasništvu pokrajine koja upravlja prijavama za cijepljenje, zbog tih propusta.

Pokrajina će sada prijeći na sustav prijavljivanja koji je razvila talijanska poštanska služba i koji se već koristi u drugim dijelovima zemlje.

Premijer Mario Draghi, koji je prošlog mjeseca stupio na dužnost, obećao je veliko ubrzanja cijepljenja upozoravajući na kaos u pojedinim regijama.

Draghijeva vlada namjerava utrostručiti tempo cijepljenja na 500.000 doza dnevno do sredine travnja s nadom da će postići kolektivni imunitet do kraja ljeta.

U Italiji se danima bilježi kontinuirani porast broja oboljelih od koronavirusne bolesti, dok zemlja uvodi sve snažnije mjere ograničenja kako bi zaustavila širenje zaraze, prenose svjetske agencije.

U srijedu evidentirano je 21.267 novozaraženih koronavirusom, u utorak 18.765, u ponedjeljak 13.846 novozaraženih, pa je ukupni broj osoba koje su od početka epidemije zaražene tim virusom premašio 3,3 milijuna.

U zemlji svakodnevno umre više od 400 osoba, u utorak čak 551, što je najveći broj od kraja siječnja dok se zemlja bori da ograniči treći val epidemije, potaknut novim zaraznijim varijantama virusa, i ubrza sporu kampanju cijepljenja.

Prema podacima ministarstva zdravlja od koronavirusne bolesti ukupno je od početka epidemije u veljači 2020. umrlo 106.339...
