Oko 3.700 Šveđana bilo je lažno pozitivno na koronavirus zbog manjkavosti testova kupljenih iz Kine, objavila je Agencija za javno zdravstvo u utorak.

Testovi tvrtke BGI Genomics nisu mogli razlikovati vrlo nisku razinu virusa od negativnog rezultata, objasnila je švedska agencija.

"Dobavljač mora prilagoditi svojstva koja su potrebna za korištenje ovog testa", rekla je Karin Tegmark Wisell, šefica odjela za mikrobiologiju.

Ti testovi su izvezeni u brojne druge zemlje, dodala je Tegmark Wisell ne otkrivajući više detalja.

BGI Genomics, čije se dvije podružnice nalaze na američkoj crnoj listi kompanija umiješanih u kršenje ljudskih prava, nisu bili dostupni za komentar.

U ožujku su za korištenje svojih testova dobili odobrenje američkih vlasti za hitnu uporabu, a u svibnju od Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO).

Švedski laboratoriji koji procjenjuju učinkovitost testova, prilagodili su svoju metodologiju. Agencija nije rekla koliko je tih testova iskorišteno, ali čini se da nije riječ o velikom broju jer je vrlo niska prisutnost koronavirusa u zemlji.

Švedska kaže da su se pogrešni rezultati samo marginalno odrazili na statistiku zaraza.

Od pojave koronavirusa u Švedskoj ukupno je 86.891 zaražena osoba, a umrlo ih je 5.814.

Broj slučajeva, pacijenata na intenzivnoj njezi i mrtvih opada posljednjih tjedana. Agencija će sljedeći utorak predstaviti svoju strategiju za popuštanje mjera za javna događanja, poput nogometnih utakmica.

Oko 3.700 Šveđana bilo je lažno pozitivno na koronavirus zbog manjkavosti testova kupljenih iz Kine, objavila je Agencija za javno zdravstvo u utorak.

Testovi tvrtke BGI Genomics nisu mogli razlikovati vrlo nisku razinu virusa od negativnog rezultata, objasnila je švedska agencija.

"Dobavljač mora prilagoditi svojstva koja su potrebna za korištenje ovog testa", rekla je Karin Tegmark Wisell, šefica odjela za mikrobiologiju.

Ti testovi su izvezeni u brojne druge zemlje, dodala je Tegmark Wisell ne otkrivajući više detalja.

BGI Genomics, čije se dvije podružnice nalaze na američkoj crnoj listi kompanija umiješanih u kršenje ljudskih prava, nisu bili dostupni za komentar.

U ožujku su za korištenje svojih testova dobili odobrenje američkih vlasti za hitnu uporabu, a u svibnju od Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO).

Švedski laboratoriji koji procjenjuju učinkovitost testova, prilagodili su svoju metodologiju. Agencija nije rekla koliko je tih testova iskorišteno, ali čini se da nije riječ o velikom broju jer je vrlo niska prisutnost koronavirusa u zemlji.

Švedska kaže da su se pogrešni rezultati samo marginalno odrazili na statistiku zaraza.

Od pojave koronavirusa u Švedskoj ukupno je 86.891 zaražena osoba, a umrlo ih je 5.814.

Broj slučajeva, pacijenata na intenzivnoj njezi i mrtvih opada posljednjih tjedana. Agencija će sljedeći utorak predstaviti svoju strategiju za popuštanje mjera za javna događanja, poput nogometnih utakmica.
