Ruske snage od početka ožujka pod okupacijom drže Zaporižje, najveću nuklearnu elektranu u Europi. Međutim, njome još uvijek upravljaju ukrajinski tehničari. Moskva je nedavno optužena i da koristi elektranu "kao štit" dok njezine trupe odatle lansiraju rakete prema obližnjim lokacijama.
Rusi su, pak, prema riječima guvernera Dnjepropetrovska, ispalili preko 120 raketa na grad Nikopol kojeg od Zaporižja dijeli tek rijeka Dnjepar. Neke granate pale su u blizini skladišta za potrošeno nuklearno gorivo u kojemu se nalazi 174 kontejnera visoko radioaktivnog materijala, a UN-ov nadzornik za nuklearnu energiju tvrdi, ako borbe ne prestanu i inspektorima se ne dopusti pristup, kako postoji "stvarni rizik od nuklearne katastrofe".
Ukrajina i Rusija optužuju tako danima jedna drugu da izazivaju nuklearnu katastrofu. Slika je nejasna, ali su rizici kristalno jasni, upozorava BBC.
Radnica i radnik nuklearne elektrane ispričali su zato BBC-ju svoju stranu priče. O prijetnjama koje svakodnevno doživljavaju, sve češćim nasumičnim otmicama, kao i o vlastitim strahovima od potencijalne "radioaktivne kontaminacije regije" ili nuklearne katastrofe... Svitlana i Mikola kodna su imena izvora BBC-ja, kako bi ih se zaštitilo od vrlo vjerojatne ruske odmazde, prenosi Jutarnji list.
“Doživljavam konstantni stres”, kaže Svitlana koja se javila novinarima BBC-a putem tekstualnih poruka.
Ona i kolega Mikola sada mogu koristiti samo ruske Sim kartice i signal je vrlo ograničen.
“Ne mogu više raditi kao prije. Prošlog tjedna nisam čak ni mogla doći na svoje radno mjesto. Bilo je previše opasno. U subotu je granatirana dušično-kisikova stanica, što je izazvalo požar. Nekim čudom, ljudi koji su tamo radili preživjeli su napad“, kazala je Svitlana.
Jedan stanovnik Enerhodara, gdje se nalazi postrojenje Zaporižje, otkrio je za BBC i kako su cijene u trgovinama i ljekarnama sada četiri puta više nego na teritoriju koji još uvijek kontrolira Ukrajina, kao i da nedostaje liječnika. Većina bankomata je također zatvorena.
"Psihološki je jako teško ovo izdržati. Vojnici hodaju posvuda s oružjem i svi smo na njihovom nišanu", kaže Svitlana.
Rusiju se optužuje da je u nuklearnu bazu smjestila 500 vojnika, a i Svitlana potvrđuje da ju Rusi koriste kao vojnu bazu.
"Osoblje je sada talac Rusa. Ugasili su internet, ostavili su samo fiksne telefone, a hrana se poslužuje samo u jednoj jedinoj blagovaonici. Ostale su pretvorili u svoje baze", javlja preko poruka Mikola, njen kolega.
Mikola nastavlja: "Zabranjen nam je pristup krovu, tamo su napravili osmatračnice. Zgrada za obuku također je postala njihova vojarna. Sve češće osoblje biva kidnapirano upravo kada završava smjenu, dok su na izlaznim vratima".
Nije poznato zašto dolazi do otmica - ali stanovnici smatraju kako je riječ o ruskoj metodi zastrašivanja.
Svitlana i Mikola također kažu kako Rusi ostavljaju smeće diljem nuklerane - ali i tvrde da, na sreću, osoblje još uvijek može upravljati nukleranom elektranom.

Ruske snage od početka ožujka pod okupacijom drže Zaporižje, najveću nuklearnu elektranu u Europi. Međutim, njome još uvijek upravljaju ukrajinski tehničari. Moskva je nedavno optužena i da koristi elektranu "kao štit" dok njezine trupe odatle lansiraju rakete prema obližnjim lokacijama.
Rusi su, pak, prema riječima guvernera Dnjepropetrovska, ispalili preko 120 raketa na grad Nikopol kojeg od Zaporižja dijeli tek rijeka Dnjepar. Neke granate pale su u blizini skladišta za potrošeno nuklearno gorivo u kojemu se nalazi 174 kontejnera visoko radioaktivnog materijala, a UN-ov nadzornik za nuklearnu energiju tvrdi, ako borbe ne prestanu i inspektorima se ne dopusti pristup, kako postoji "stvarni rizik od nuklearne katastrofe".
Ukrajina i Rusija optužuju tako danima jedna drugu da izazivaju nuklearnu katastrofu. Slika je nejasna, ali su rizici kristalno jasni, upozorava BBC.
Radnica i radnik nuklearne elektrane ispričali su zato BBC-ju svoju stranu priče. O prijetnjama koje svakodnevno doživljavaju, sve češćim nasumičnim otmicama, kao i o vlastitim strahovima od potencijalne "radioaktivne kontaminacije regije" ili nuklearne katastrofe... Svitlana i Mikola kodna su imena izvora BBC-ja, kako bi ih se zaštitilo od vrlo vjerojatne ruske odmazde, prenosi Jutarnji list.
“Doživljavam konstantni stres”, kaže Svitlana koja se javila novinarima BBC-a putem tekstualnih poruka.
Ona i kolega Mikola sada mogu koristiti samo ruske Sim kartice i signal je vrlo ograničen.
“Ne mogu više raditi kao prije. Prošlog tjedna nisam čak ni mogla doći na svoje radno mjesto. Bilo je previše opasno. U subotu je granatirana dušično-kisikova stanica, što je izazvalo požar. Nekim čudom, ljudi koji su tamo radili preživjeli su napad“, kazala je Svitlana.
Jedan stanovnik Enerhodara, gdje se nalazi postrojenje Zaporižje, otkrio je za BBC i kako su cijene u trgovinama i ljekarnama sada četiri puta više nego na teritoriju koji još uvijek kontrolira Ukrajina, kao i da nedostaje liječnika. Većina bankomata je također zatvorena.
"Psihološki je jako teško ovo izdržati. Vojnici hodaju posvuda s oružjem i svi smo na njihovom nišanu", kaže Svitlana.
Rusiju se optužuje da je u nuklearnu bazu smjestila 500 vojnika, a i Svitlana potvrđuje da ju Rusi koriste kao vojnu bazu.
"Osoblje je sada talac Rusa. Ugasili su internet, ostavili su samo fiksne telefone, a hrana se poslužuje samo u jednoj jedinoj blagovaonici. Ostale su pretvorili u svoje baze", javlja preko poruka Mikola, njen kolega.
Mikola nastavlja: "Zabranjen nam je pristup krovu, tamo su napravili osmatračnice. Zgrada za obuku također je postala njihova vojarna. Sve češće osoblje biva kidnapirano upravo kada završava smjenu, dok su na izlaznim vratima".
Nije poznato zašto dolazi do otmica - ali stanovnici smatraju kako je riječ o ruskoj metodi zastrašivanja.
Svitlana i Mikola također kažu kako Rusi ostavljaju smeće diljem nuklerane - ali i tvrde da, na sreću, osoblje još uvijek može upravljati nukleranom elektranom.
