Svijet se u četvrtak priprema za doček Nove godine, ali će proslave za milijarde ljudi ovaj put biti skromnije zbog pandemije koronavirusa i strogih epidemioloških mjera.

Nakon teške godine u kojoj je od covida-19 umrlo najmanje 1,7 milijuna ljudi, novi valovi zaraze prisilili su vlasti da ponovno uvedu karantene zbog čega će mnogi ljudi Novu godinu dočekati gledajući TV u svojim domovima.

Od Sydneyja do Rima, vatrometi, paljenje lomača i nastupi uživo pratit će se putem interneta ili na televiziji, ako nisu otkazani.

Dugo očekivana prva svjetla 2021. godine zasjat će u pacifičkim nacijama Kiribati i Samoi počevši od 11 sati po srednjoeuropskom vremenu, dok će nenaseljeni otoci Howland i Baker u Novu godinu ući posljednji, 26 sati poslije, piše Reuters.

Premda su pacifički otoci pošteđeni najgorih posljedica pandemije, Silvestarska noć ipak će biti drugačija zbog restrikcija na granicama, policijskih satova i zatvaranja.

U Sydneyju, najvećem gradu u Australiji, bit će organiziran veličanstven vatromet, ali uz malobrojne gledatelje.

Planovi da se dopusti veća okupljanja odbačeni su jer se oko 150 ljudi zarazilo koronavirusom zbog čega su putovanja u i iz Sydneyja jako ograničena.

Isto tako, Rimljani će putem interneta prenositi paljenje goleme lomače u Circusu Maximusu, drevnom stadionu, uz dvosatni svečani doček na kojem će nastupiti razni umjetnici.

Italija, koja je početkom godine šokirala svijet slikama improviziranih mrtvačnica i iscrpljenih zdravstvenih djelatnika razotkrivši ozbiljnost krize, u karanteni je do 7. siječnja i od 22 sata na snazi je policijski sat.

Od Francuske do Latvije i Brazila, policija i u nekim slučajevima vojska raspoređene su kako bi se osiguralo poštivanje noćnog policijskog sata i zabrana okupljanja u velikom broju.

U pandemijom teško pogođenom Londonu, 74-godišnja američka pjevačica Patti Smith pozdravit će Novu godinu odajući priznanje britanskim zdravstvenim djelatnicima koji su umrli od covida-19, što će se projicirati na ekranu na Piccadilly Circusu i prenositi putem YouTubea.

Kada se kristalna kugla bude spuštala u ponoć na Times Squareu u New Yorku, neće biti nikoga da pozdravi  dolazak Nove godine jer će ulice biti prazne zbog pandemije korona virusa.

Newyorkške vlasti su objavile da će Times Square biti zatvoren za javnost za Novu godinu, a nastupi uživo moći će se pratiti na internetu i televiziji.

Društvena okupljanja

Jedno mjesto na kojem će se moći slaviti bez ekrana je Novi Zeland na kojem nema virusa. Nekoliko gradova ondje će organizirati vatromete uz samo neka manja epidemiološka ograničenja.

Tisuće ljudi u Dubaiju nazočit će vatrometu i laserskom showu na Burj Khalifi, najvišem tornju na svijetu, unatoč velikom broju novozaraženih. Svi nazočni morat će nositi masku i registrirati se putem QR kodova.

U Bejrutu, gradu koji se još nije oporavio od strašne eksplozije u luci 4. kolovoza, vlasti su također popustile. Noćni policijski sat pomaknut je i stupa na snagu tek u 3 sata ujutro. Barovi, restorani i noćni klubovi ponovno su otvoreni i nude velike novogodišnje zabave.

Društvene mreže preplavljene su slikama i video snimkama prepunih klubova i restorana, pa vlasti upozoravaju da bi nakon praznika mogle uvesti novu karantenu.

Bojazni od takva mamurluka raširene su, a pojavili su se zlokobni znakovi da bi nove varijante virusa mogle mjesece koji dolaze učiniti još težima.

U Brazilu, gdje je od covida-19 umrlo već više od 193.000 ljudi, po čemu je drugi na svijetu, liječnici sa zebnjom očekuju novi val.

Zadnjih dana društvene mreže pune su video snimaka mnoštva ljudi bez maski u noćnom izlasku, a televizijske mreže prenijele su snimke uživo policije koja zatvara barove prepune gostiju.

„Vrhunac pandemije bio je između svibnja i srpnja, kada nije bilo puno kretanja i više smo se čuvali. Sada ima puno zaraženih, a ljudi se ponašaju kao da nema pandemije”, rekao je Luiz Gustavo de Almeida, mikrobiolog na Sveučilištu u Sao Paulu.

Svijet se u četvrtak priprema za doček Nove godine, ali će proslave za milijarde ljudi ovaj put biti skromnije zbog pandemije koronavirusa i strogih epidemioloških mjera.

Nakon teške godine u kojoj je od covida-19 umrlo najmanje 1,7 milijuna ljudi, novi valovi zaraze prisilili su vlasti da ponovno uvedu karantene zbog čega će mnogi ljudi Novu godinu dočekati gledajući TV u svojim domovima.

Od Sydneyja do Rima, vatrometi, paljenje lomača i nastupi uživo pratit će se putem interneta ili na televiziji, ako nisu otkazani.

Dugo očekivana prva svjetla 2021. godine zasjat će u pacifičkim nacijama Kiribati i Samoi počevši od 11 sati po srednjoeuropskom vremenu, dok će nenaseljeni otoci Howland i Baker u Novu godinu ući posljednji, 26 sati poslije, piše Reuters.

Premda su pacifički otoci pošteđeni najgorih posljedica pandemije, Silvestarska noć ipak će biti drugačija zbog restrikcija na granicama, policijskih satova i zatvaranja.

U Sydneyju, najvećem gradu u Australiji, bit će organiziran veličanstven vatromet, ali uz malobrojne gledatelje.

Planovi da se dopusti veća okupljanja odbačeni su jer se oko 150 ljudi zarazilo koronavirusom zbog čega su putovanja u i iz Sydneyja jako ograničena.

Isto tako, Rimljani će putem interneta prenositi paljenje goleme lomače u Circusu Maximusu, drevnom stadionu, uz dvosatni svečani doček na kojem će nastupiti razni umjetnici.

Italija, koja je početkom godine šokirala svijet slikama improviziranih mrtvačnica i iscrpljenih zdravstvenih djelatnika razotkrivši ozbiljnost krize, u karanteni je do 7. siječnja i od 22 sata na snazi je policijski sat.

Od Francuske do Latvije i Brazila, policija i u nekim slučajevima vojska raspoređene su kako bi se osiguralo poštivanje noćnog policijskog sata i zabrana okupljanja u velikom broju.

U pandemijom teško pogođenom Londonu, 74-godišnja američka pjevačica Patti Smith pozdravit će Novu godinu odajući priznanje britanskim zdravstvenim djelatnicima koji su umrli od covida-19, što će se projicirati na ekranu na Piccadilly Circusu i prenositi putem YouTubea.

Kada se kristalna kugla bude spuštala u ponoć na Times Squareu u New Yorku, neće biti nikoga da pozdravi  dolazak Nove godine jer će ulice biti prazne zbog pandemije korona virusa.

Newyorkške vlasti su objavile da će Times Square biti zatvoren za javnost za Novu godinu, a nastupi uživo moći će se pratiti na internetu i televiziji.

Jedno mjesto na kojem će se moći slaviti bez ekrana je Novi Zeland na kojem nema virusa. Nekoliko gradova ondje će organizirati vatromete uz samo neka manja epidemiološka ograničenja.

Tisuće ljudi u Dubaiju nazočit će vatrometu i laserskom showu na Burj Khalifi, najvišem tornju na svijetu, unatoč velikom broju novozaraženih. Svi nazočni morat će nositi masku i registrirati se putem QR kodova.

U Bejrutu, gradu koji se još nije oporavio od strašne eksplozije u luci 4. kolovoza, vlasti su također popustile. Noćni policijski sat pomaknut je i stupa na snagu tek u 3 sata ujutro. Barovi, restorani i noćni klubovi ponovno su otvoreni i nude velike novogodišnje zabave.

Društvene mreže preplavljene su slikama i video snimkama prepunih klubova i restorana, pa vlasti upozoravaju da bi nakon praznika mogle uvesti novu karantenu.

Bojazni od takva mamurluka raširene su, a pojavili su se zlokobni znakovi da bi nove varijante virusa mogle mjesece koji dolaze učiniti još težima.

U Brazilu, gdje je od covida-19 umrlo već više od 193.000 ljudi, po čemu je drugi na svijetu, liječnici sa zebnjom očekuju novi val.

Zadnjih dana društvene mreže pune su video snimaka mnoštva ljudi bez maski u noćnom izlasku, a televizijske mreže prenijele su snimke uživo policije koja zatvara barove prepune gostiju.

„Vrhunac pandemije bio je između svibnja i srpnja, kada nije bilo puno kretanja i više smo se čuvali. Sada ima puno zaraženih, a ljudi se ponašaju kao da nema pandemije”, rekao je Luiz Gustavo de Almeida, mikrobiolog na Sveučilištu u Sao Paulu.

Svijet će Novu godinu dočekati u karanteni: slavlja će se uglavnom prenositi putem TV-a i interneta, a u nekim državama je na snazi policijski sat

Svijet se u četvrtak priprema za doček Nove godine, ali će proslave za milijarde ljudi ovaj put biti skromnije zbog pandemije koronavirusa i strogih epidemioloških mjera.

Nakon teške godine u kojoj je od covida-19 umrlo najmanje 1,7 milijuna ljudi, novi valovi zaraze prisilili su vlasti da ponovno uvedu karantene zbog čega će mnogi ljudi Novu godinu dočekati gledajući TV u svojim domovima.

Od Sydneyja do Rima, vatrometi, paljenje lomača i nastupi uživo pratit će se putem interneta ili na televiziji, ako nisu otkazani.

Dugo očekivana prva svjetla 2021. godine zasjat će u pacifičkim nacijama Kiribati i Samoi počevši od 11 sati po srednjoeuropskom vremenu, dok će nenaseljeni otoci Howland i Baker u Novu godinu ući posljednji, 26 sati poslije, piše Reuters.
