Do sada ni jedna nuklearna elektrana nije tako dugo bila u ratnoj zoni, tako da se Zaporižje može nazvati “tempiranom bombom”, a ako se funkcioniranje elektrane poremeti, katastrofa može biti veća nego u Černobilu, kaže Ištvan Bikit, doktor nuklearne fizike i profesor emeritus na Prirodno matematičkom fakultetu u Novom Sadu.

On je objasnio da nuklearna elektrana Zaporižje ima devet blokova i staru tehnologiju, i da nije sigurnija nego što je bio Černobil.

Dodaje da tamošnji reaktori, za razliku od zapadnih, nemaju omotač od armiranog betona koji služe da se ograniči širenje radioaktivnosti u slučaju curenja. Bikit naglašava za N1 da bi vojska koja bi pucala na nuklearnu elektranu “praktično izvršila samoubojstvo”.

Vojni analitičar Aleksandar Radić kaže da je očigledno da se oko elektrane djeluje artiljerijom i da može nastati velika šteta.

Na pitanje postoje li međunarodni protokoli koji brane da se ugrožava nuklearna elektrana, Radić kaže da ništa što je napisano na papiru ne može spriječiti da se nešto dogodi na terenu.

“Ne postoji mehanizam na koji se možete pozvati, osim zdravog razuma”, kazao je on.

Govoreći o tome zašto je Zaporižje važno ruskom predsjedniku Vladimiru Putinu, Radić je rekao da se radi o opskrbi energijom dijelova Ukrajine pod ruskom kontrolom, dok se istodobno uskraćuje električna energija ostatku Ukrajine.

Prema njegovoj ocjeni, Kijev naglašava važnost tog problema, sa željom da pitanje elektrane bude u svim svjetskim vijestima.

Profesor Bikit objašnjava da u slučaju da reaktor bude pogođen, to neće biti eksplozija poput nuklearne bombe i neće se “pojaviti gljiva”, čega se mnogi najviše plaše.

Opasnost je da prestane hlađenje reaktora, a ako se to dogodi, može doći do kemijske eksplozije, i to može osloboditi radioaktivnost u atmosferu, objašnjava Radić. Ističe također i da nuklearka mora neprekidno imati struju, jer ako nestane, onda se reaktor pregrije.

Radić podsjeća da je ruska služba sigurnosti objavila da su uhitili nekoliko radnika u samoj nuklearki koji su navodno bili povezani s ukrajinskom obavještajnom službom.

Zapad se zalaže za demilitarizaciju te oblasti, što Rusija odbija jer bi to značilo de facto gubitak kontrole nad elektranom, govori Radić. Realističan cilj koji su postavili na zapadu je ishoditi od Rusije viši stupanj kontrole, s ciljem demilitarizacije, što Rusija odbija, prenosi N1.

Bikit ne veruje da bi bilo koji zapovjednik izdao naređenje da se gađa nuklearni reaktor, ali pita što ako slučajno bude pogođen rashladni sistem ili reaktorska posuda.

Do sada ni jedna nuklearna elektrana nije tako dugo bila u ratnoj zoni, tako da se Zaporižje može nazvati “tempiranom bombom”, a ako se funkcioniranje elektrane poremeti, katastrofa može biti veća nego u Černobilu, kaže Ištvan Bikit, doktor nuklearne fizike i profesor emeritus na Prirodno matematičkom fakultetu u Novom Sadu.

On je objasnio da nuklearna elektrana Zaporižje ima devet blokova i staru tehnologiju, i da nije sigurnija nego što je bio Černobil.

Dodaje da tamošnji reaktori, za razliku od zapadnih, nemaju omotač od armiranog betona koji služe da se ograniči širenje radioaktivnosti u slučaju curenja. Bikit naglašava za N1 da bi vojska koja bi pucala na nuklearnu elektranu “praktično izvršila samoubojstvo”.

Vojni analitičar Aleksandar Radić kaže da je očigledno da se oko elektrane djeluje artiljerijom i da može nastati velika šteta.

Na pitanje postoje li međunarodni protokoli koji brane da se ugrožava nuklearna elektrana, Radić kaže da ništa što je napisano na papiru ne može spriječiti da se nešto dogodi na terenu.

“Ne postoji mehanizam na koji se možete pozvati, osim zdravog razuma”, kazao je on.

Govoreći o tome zašto je Zaporižje važno ruskom predsjedniku Vladimiru Putinu, Radić je rekao da se radi o opskrbi energijom dijelova Ukrajine pod ruskom kontrolom, dok se istodobno uskraćuje električna energija ostatku Ukrajine.

Prema njegovoj ocjeni, Kijev naglašava važnost tog problema, sa željom da pitanje elektrane bude u svim svjetskim vijestima.

Profesor Bikit objašnjava da u slučaju da reaktor bude pogođen, to neće biti eksplozija poput nuklearne bombe i neće se “pojaviti gljiva”, čega se mnogi najviše plaše.

Opasnost je da prestane hlađenje reaktora, a ako se to dogodi, može doći do kemijske eksplozije, i to može osloboditi radioaktivnost u atmosferu, objašnjava Radić. Ističe također i da nuklearka mora neprekidno imati struju, jer ako nestane, onda se reaktor pregrije.

Radić podsjeća da je ruska služba sigurnosti objavila da su uhitili nekoliko radnika u samoj nuklearki koji su navodno bili povezani s ukrajinskom obavještajnom službom.

Zapad se zalaže za demilitarizaciju te oblasti, što Rusija odbija jer bi to značilo de facto gubitak kontrole nad elektranom, govori Radić. Realističan cilj koji su postavili na zapadu je ishoditi od Rusije viši stupanj kontrole, s ciljem demilitarizacije, što Rusija odbija, prenosi N1.
