Joe Biden američkim je glasačima ponudio radikalno drukčiju viziju američke energetske politike od Donalda Trumpa, usredotočenu na rješavanje prijetnje klimatskim promjenama, a ta nova politika imat će nekoliko glavnih posljedica, navodi se u analizi konzultantske kuće Wood Mackenzie.

Wood Mackenzie, također poznat kao WoodMac, globalna je grupa za istraživanje i savjetovanje o energetici, kemijskoj industriji i rudarstvu.

U analizi objavljenoj na svojim mrežnim stranicama, Wood Mackenzie ističe da će Joe Biden ući u Bijelu kuću s ciljem postavljanja SAD-a na kurs "neto nula" emisija stakleničkih plinova do 2050. godine te vratiti SAD u pariški klimatski sporazum.

No, upozorava i na velike šanse da republikanci zadrže kontrolu nad Senatom i ograniče ostvarivanje Bidenovih energetskih ciljeva koliko god to bude moguće.

"Uz saveznu, politika država-članica i dalje će biti važna, no ključni utjecaj na oblikovanje američke energetske industrije vjerojatno će imati tržišna kretanja, baš kao i za vrijeme Baracka Obame i Donalda Trumpa. No, promjena savezne vlade imat će neke značajne posljedice, rekao je potpredsjednik Wood Mackenziea Ed Crooks.

Prva koju navodi su poticaji za pučinske vjetroelektrane. Njih je Trumpova administracija skresala i predložila zatvaranje dijela američke obale Atlantika od Floride do Virginije za te namjene. Bidenova administracija djelovat će kao podrška državama i tvrtkama koje žele razviti odobalne vjetroparkove i podebljat će poticaje, kaže Crooks.

Istovremeno, očekuje ograničenja za sektore nafte i plina, ali bez zabrane frackinga. Podsjeća da se Biden obvezao na strože izdavanje federalnih dozvola za nove naftno-plinske projekte na javnim zemljištima i vodama. Utjecaj takve politike na kopnene projekte ne bi trebao biti značajan, što se ne može reći za off-shore bušotine, iako bi trebalo proći određeno vrijeme da postanu vidljivi.

Potraje li prekid izdavanja novih dozvola, to bi do 2035. godine moglo smanjiti američku proizvodnju nafte i plina na moru za oko 30 posto, u usporedbi s nastavkom iznajmljivanja javnih vodenih površina za takve projekte, kaže se u Wood Mackenzi-jevoj analizi.

Sve bi to, kako se dodaje, moglo rezultirati novim zaprekama za naftne i plinske infrastrukturne projekte.

Biden planira nametnuti i strože standarde uštede goriva, što će, kako se ocjenjuje, pomoći prodaji električnih automobila. Do 2030. godine na američkim cestama moglo bi biti četiri milijuna električnih vozila kao rezultat tih standarda, gotovo 60 posto više nego u slučaju ostanka na snazi pravila Trumpove administracije.

Međutim, kako se dodaje, utjecaj tih kretanja na američku potražnju za gorivom u ovom desetljeću bit će minimalan, jer četiri milijuna električnih vozila predstavlja samo oko 1,5 posto od ukupno 275 milijuna vozila koji se očekuju na američkim cestama 2030. godine.

Joe Biden američkim je glasačima ponudio radikalno drukčiju viziju američke energetske politike od Donalda Trumpa, usredotočenu na rješavanje prijetnje klimatskim promjenama, a ta nova politika imat će nekoliko glavnih posljedica, navodi se u analizi konzultantske kuće Wood Mackenzie.

Wood Mackenzie, također poznat kao WoodMac, globalna je grupa za istraživanje i savjetovanje o energetici, kemijskoj industriji i rudarstvu.

U analizi objavljenoj na svojim mrežnim stranicama, Wood Mackenzie ističe da će Joe Biden ući u Bijelu kuću s ciljem postavljanja SAD-a na kurs "neto nula" emisija stakleničkih plinova do 2050. godine te vratiti SAD u pariški klimatski sporazum.

No, upozorava i na velike šanse da republikanci zadrže kontrolu nad Senatom i ograniče ostvarivanje Bidenovih energetskih ciljeva koliko god to bude moguće.

"Uz saveznu, politika država-članica i dalje će biti važna, no ključni utjecaj na oblikovanje američke energetske industrije vjerojatno će imati tržišna kretanja, baš kao i za vrijeme Baracka Obame i Donalda Trumpa. No, promjena savezne vlade imat će neke značajne posljedice, rekao je potpredsjednik Wood Mackenziea Ed Crooks.

Prva koju navodi su poticaji za pučinske vjetroelektrane. Njih je Trumpova administracija skresala i predložila zatvaranje dijela američke obale Atlantika od Floride do Virginije za te namjene. Bidenova administracija djelovat će kao podrška državama i tvrtkama koje žele razviti odobalne vjetroparkove i podebljat će poticaje, kaže Crooks.

Istovremeno, očekuje ograničenja za sektore nafte i plina, ali bez zabrane frackinga. Podsjeća da se Biden obvezao na strože izdavanje federalnih dozvola za nove naftno-plinske projekte na javnim zemljištima i vodama. Utjecaj takve politike na kopnene projekte ne bi trebao biti značajan, što se ne može reći za off-shore bušotine, iako bi trebalo proći određeno vrijeme da postanu vidljivi.

Potraje li prekid izdavanja novih dozvola, to bi do 2035. godine moglo smanjiti američku proizvodnju nafte i plina na moru za oko 30 posto, u usporedbi s nastavkom iznajmljivanja javnih vodenih površina za takve projekte, kaže se u Wood Mackenzi-jevoj analizi.

Sve bi to, kako se dodaje, moglo rezultirati novim zaprekama za naftne i plinske infrastrukturne projekte.

Biden planira nametnuti i strože standarde uštede goriva, što će, kako se ocjenjuje, pomoći prodaji električnih automobila. Do 2030. godine na američkim cestama moglo bi biti četiri milijuna električnih vozila kao rezultat tih standarda, gotovo 60 posto više nego u slučaju ostanka na snazi pravila Trumpove administracije.

Međutim, kako se dodaje, utjecaj tih kretanja na američku potražnju za gorivom u ovom desetljeću bit će minimalan, jer četiri milijuna električnih vozila predstavlja samo oko 1,5 posto od ukupno 275 milijuna vozila koji se očekuju na američkim cestama 2030. godine.

Joe Biden američkim je glasačima ponudio radikalno drukčiju viziju američke energetske politike od Donalda Trumpa, usredotočenu na rješavanje prijetnje klimatskim promjenama, a ta nova politika imat će nekoliko glavnih posljedica, navodi se u analizi konzultantske kuće Wood Mackenzie.

Wood Mackenzie, također poznat kao WoodMac, globalna je grupa za istraživanje i savjetovanje o energetici, kemijskoj industriji i rudarstvu.

U analizi objavljenoj na svojim mrežnim stranicama, Wood Mackenzie ističe da će Joe Biden ući u Bijelu kuću s ciljem postavljanja SAD-a na kurs "neto nula" emisija stakleničkih plinova do 2050. godine te vratiti SAD u pariški klimatski sporazum.
