Prije gotovo šezdeset godina, listopada 1962. godine, zabilježio sam u dnevniku: "Sanjao sam kako se na horizontu diže gljiva ka nebu, isuviše je to blizu mene, sve je gotovo…“ Prije toga često sam sanjao da me streljaju. Tumačio sam taj san tako, da moja podsvijest želi individualniju, herojskiju smrt od bezimenog gušenja u plinskoj komori ili prebijanja do smrti u logoru. Zamijenio ga je san o tada modernijoj smrti zbog eksplozije atomske bombe. Iz moje sadašnje perspekive bio sam strahovito mlad, imao nešto preko trideset godina, taman počeo živjeti sređeno.

Prije toga sam završio školu rezervnih oficira u Bitoli i dosta toga naučio o nuklearnom oružju uz smiješnu pouku: "Oružje protiv atomskog oružja je vaš ašovčić, u alučaju atomske opasnosti brzo se zakopajte!“ To smo morali vježbati. Kao dopisnik iz Mađarske 1956. vidio sam na ulicama izgorjele tenkove, mrtve ruske vojnike i mađarske civile, mislio sam da znam što je rat.

Na Summitu nesvrstanih zemalja u Havani sam 1979. prisustvovao Titovom posljednjem velikom javnom govoru i zapisao: "Sve je to daleko od kubanske krize i nadmudrivanja Kennedy-Hruščov. Tada je opstanak svijeta stvarno bio u opasnosti“, piše Ivan Ivanji za Vreme.

Europljani bi stradali kao japanci 1945.

Danas ponetko ukrajinsku krizu uspoređuje s Kubanskom. Predsjednik Sjedinjenih Američkih Država Joseph Biden zaista je prije neki dan rekao: "Ako u Ukrajini Rusi i Amerikanci budu pucali jedni na druge, to bi bio svjetski rat.“

Dodajem, taj svjetski rat vodio bi se nuklearnim oružjem koje je neusporedivo strašnije od onoga prije šest desetljeća. U pogledu kopnene vojske zapadna alijansa nema u Europi što suprotstaviti Rusima, oni bi za tri dana bili na obalama Atlantika. Zaustaviti bi se mogli samo nuklearnim bombama. Što bi kao prvo izginulo europsko stanovništvo, kao Japanci u Hirošimi i Nagasakiju, bila bi koletaralna šteta zbog koje bi se Moskva i Washington ispričavali, oni koji bi u atomskim bunkerima ostali živi.

Amerikanci su govorili da je Kuba, na kojoj su bile postavljene sovjetske rakete, "njihovo dvorište“. Za Kremlj je Ukrajina svakako "rusko dvorište“. Ali, rata zbog Ukrajine između SAD i Rusije biti neće. Pogotovo ne nuklearnog.

Biden svakako nema kapacitet Kennedyja, a Putin je mirniji, staloženiji i razboritiji od isuviše naglog Hruščova, kojega vjerojatno krivi što je Ukrajini podario toliko nezavisnosti unutar SSSR-a. Iza Rusije sada stoji Kina, a za Sjedinjene Američke Države pacifička regija daleko je važnija od istoka Europe. Najzad, predsjednik Ukrajine Volodimir Zelenski nimalo ne podsjeća na Castra.

Armagedon i Biblija

Važno je da se razgovara direktno i indirektno. Biden je prije neki dan cio sat razgovarao s Putinom, po tko zna koji put. Razgovaraju u većoj tišini generali s obje strane. Figure kao što su Macron, Scholz ili Stoltenberg mogu dramatično djelovati koliko god ih je volja, neće prikriti da su samo statisti koji se prave važni. Macron je ipak shvatio da se zapravo ne radi samo o Ukrajini, nego o rasporedu raketa s nuklearnim bojnim glavama. Za strateške račune Moskve one su sada rapoređene isuviše blizu Rusije i njenih većih gradova. To svakako sliči na situaciju na Kubi prije šest desetljeća.

Ponešto se može usporediti, ali situacija je ipak u mnogo čemu drugačija. Histerija je za obje strane unutarnjopolitički zgodna, ja mislim da Bijela kuća i ne misli što izjavljuje, a u ovom slučaju Kremlj govori istinu. Ruska vojska neće umarširati u Ukrajinu. Nema potrebe, za borbu ima plin i naftu.

 Ja se bojim smaka svijeta i nuklearnog rata jer, opet za razliku od stanja od prije više od pola stoljeća, atomske sile su postale i Indija, Pakistan i Izrael, a i Sjeverna Koreja tu nešto pokušava. Već čujem proteste Izraela što u rečenici o nuklearno opasnim zemljama spominjem židovsku državu. Izrael je nesumnjivo demokratska zemlja s nezavisnom sudstvom. Ja, međutim, ne isključujem da bi neka vlada u Jeruzalemu mogla doći na ideju da bombardira iranska atomska postrojenja nekim nuklearnim bombama umjerene razorne snage. Vjerujem da se Netanyahu igrao s tom mišlju. A ako bi onda Rusija morala spašavati Iran, a Amerika, naravno, Izrael? Smak svijeta na vidiku? Armagedon?

U Bibliji se ta riječ, zapravo Harmagedon, javlja samo na jednom mjestu i to u 16. glavi Ivanovog Otkrivenja kada opisuje "sudnji dan“, doslovno "rat velikog dana Božjeg, svevišnjeg…“ Pročitajte detalje u tom svjetskom bestseleru, vjerujem da ga imate u kući. Prije gotovo šezdeset godina, listopada 1962. godine, zabilježio sam u dnevniku: "Sanjao sam kako se na horizontu diže gljiva ka nebu, isuviše je to blizu mene, sve je gotovo…“ Prije toga često sam sanjao da me streljaju. Tumačio sam taj san tako, da moja podsvijest želi individualniju, herojskiju smrt od bezimenog gušenja u plinskoj komori ili prebijanja do smrti u logoru. Zamijenio ga je san o tada modernijoj smrti zbog eksplozije atomske bombe. Iz moje sadašnje perspekive bio sam strahovito mlad, imao nešto preko trideset godina, taman počeo živjeti sređeno.

Prije toga sam završio školu rezervnih oficira u Bitoli i dosta toga naučio o nuklearnom oružju uz smiješnu pouku: "Oružje protiv atomskog oružja je vaš ašovčić, u alučaju atomske opasnosti brzo se zakopajte!“ To smo morali vježbati. Kao dopisnik iz Mađarske 1956. vidio sam na ulicama izgorjele tenkove, mrtve ruske vojnike i mađarske civile, mislio sam da znam što je rat.

Na Summitu nesvrstanih zemalja u Havani sam 1979. prisustvovao Titovom posljednjem velikom javnom govoru i zapisao: "Sve je to daleko od kubanske krize i nadmudrivanja Kennedy-Hruščov. Tada je opstanak svijeta stvarno bio u opasnosti“, piše Ivan Ivanji za Vreme.

Europljani bi stradali kao japanci 1945.

Danas ponetko ukrajinsku krizu uspoređuje s Kubanskom. Predsjednik Sjedinjenih Američkih Država Joseph Biden zaista je prije neki dan rekao: "Ako u Ukrajini Rusi i Amerikanci budu pucali jedni na druge, to bi bio svjetski rat.“

Dodajem, taj svjetski rat vodio bi se nuklearnim oružjem koje je neusporedivo strašnije od onoga prije šest desetljeća. U pogledu kopnene vojske zapadna alijansa nema u Europi što suprotstaviti Rusima, oni bi za tri dana bili na obalama Atlantika. Zaustaviti bi se mogli samo nuklearnim bombama. Što bi kao prvo izginulo europsko stanovništvo, kao Japanci u Hirošimi i Nagasakiju, bila bi koletaralna šteta zbog koje bi se Moskva i Washington ispričavali, oni koji bi u atomskim bunkerima ostali živi.

Amerikanci su govorili da je Kuba, na kojoj su bile postavljene sovjetske rakete, "njihovo dvorište“. Za Kremlj je Ukrajina svakako "rusko dvorište“. Ali, rata zbog Ukrajine između SAD i Rusije biti neće. Pogotovo ne nuklearnog.

Biden svakako nema kapacitet Kennedyja, a Putin je mirniji, staloženiji i razboritiji od isuviše naglog Hruščova, kojega vjerojatno krivi što je Ukrajini podario toliko nezavisnosti unutar SSSR-a. Iza Rusije sada stoji Kina, a za Sjedinjene Američke Države pacifička regija daleko je važnija od istoka Europe. Najzad, predsjednik Ukrajine Volodimir Zelenski nimalo ne podsjeća na Castra.

Armagedon i Biblija

Važno je da se razgovara direktno i indirektno. Biden je prije neki dan cio sat razgovarao s Putinom, po tko zna koji put. Razgovaraju u većoj tišini generali s obje strane. Figure kao što su Macron, Scholz ili Stoltenberg mogu dramatično djelovati koliko god ih je volja, neće prikriti da su samo statisti koji se prave važni. Macron je ipak shvatio da se zapravo ne radi samo o Ukrajini, nego o rasporedu raketa s nuklearnim bojnim glavama. Za strateške račune Moskve one su sada rapoređene isuviše blizu Rusije i njenih većih gradova. To svakako sliči na situaciju na Kubi prije šest desetljeća.

Ponešto se može usporediti, ali situacija je ipak u mnogo čemu drugačija. Histerija je za obje strane unutarnjopolitički zgodna, ja mislim da Bijela kuća i ne misli što izjavljuje, a u ovom slučaju Kremlj govori istinu. Ruska vojska neće umarširati u Ukrajinu. Nema potrebe, za borbu ima plin i naftu.

 Ja se bojim smaka svijeta i nuklearnog rata jer, opet za razliku od stanja od prije više od pola stoljeća, atomske sile su postale i Indija, Pakistan i Izrael, a i Sjeverna Koreja tu nešto pokušava. Već čujem proteste Izraela što u rečenici o nuklearno opasnim zemljama spominjem židovsku državu. Izrael je nesumnjivo demokratska zemlja s nezavisnom sudstvom. Ja, međutim, ne isključujem da bi neka vlada u Jeruzalemu mogla doći na ideju da bombardira iranska atomska postrojenja nekim nuklearnim bombama umjerene razorne snage. Vjerujem da se Netanyahu igrao s tom mišlju. A ako bi onda Rusija morala spašavati Iran, a Amerika, naravno, Izrael? Smak svijeta na vidiku? Armagedon?

Prije gotovo šezdeset godina, listopada 1962. godine, zabilježio sam u dnevniku: "Sanjao sam kako se na horizontu diže gljiva ka nebu, isuviše je to blizu mene, sve je gotovo…“ Prije toga često sam sanjao da me streljaju. Tumačio sam taj san tako, da moja podsvijest želi individualniju, herojskiju smrt od bezimenog gušenja u plinskoj komori ili prebijanja do smrti u logoru. Zamijenio ga je san o tada modernijoj smrti zbog eksplozije atomske bombe. Iz moje sadašnje perspekive bio sam strahovito mlad, imao nešto preko trideset godina, taman počeo živjeti sređeno.

Prije toga sam završio školu rezervnih oficira u Bitoli i dosta toga naučio o nuklearnom oružju uz smiješnu pouku: "Oružje protiv atomskog oružja je vaš ašovčić, u alučaju atomske opasnosti brzo se...
