Ukrajinska južna protuofenziva doslovce je započela Big Bangom, velikim praskom.

Četiri dana nakon prvih ukrajinskih sondaža najmekših dijelova crte bojišnice koja se proteže duljinom od 160 kilometara preko Zaporiške i Donjecke oblasti, moćne ukrajinske snage pokrenule su se u napad preko velikog ruskog minskog polja na markaciji južno od Male Tomačke u Zaporižju.

Minska polja su jedna od problematičnijih zapreka dosadašnjem značajnijem ukrajinskome napredovanju, piše Forbes.

Borbeni inženjeri iz 33. mehanizirane i 47. jurišne ukrajinske brigade ispalili su kao prvi hitac u započetoj protuofenzivi tzv. MCLC, linijsko punjenje za razminiranje, koje se u žargonu naziva i ‘miclick‘.

Riječ je o raketnom užetu spletenom u mrežu prepunu eksploziva, koja više nego uspješno može probiti prvi put kroz mine i druge neprijateljske prepreke. Preteča ovog izuma nekad je bio bangalore torpedo, cijevi napunjene TNT-om kakvima su se npr. služili američki marinci za prolazak kroz žicu i mine na plažama u Normandiji.

Danas se linijski naboji MCLC-a sa stotinama kilograma eksplozivnog punjenja ispaljuju iz posebnih vozila na velike površine minskih polja u pletenim crijevima, te velikom detonacijom uz pomoć komprimiranog zraka aktiviraju sve postavljene naprave.

Za prolazak borbenim vozilima i pješadiji čiste koridore duljine do stotinu, a širine i do desetak metara.

MCLC-ovi, koje su Ukrajinci ispalili južno od Male Tomačke 8. lipnja, uspješno su očistili prve slojeve ruskih minskih polja, ali svejedno nisu spasili 33. i 47. ukrajinsku brigadu od katastrofe u idućoj fazi proboja, za koju se naširoko čulo.

Iza eksplozije krenuli su naprijed ukrajinski Leopardi 2R, oboružani minskim plugovima te jurišne snage Leoparda 2A6 i druga borbena vozila pješaštva, ali su ruski izviđači odmah uočili Ukrajince i pozvali helikoptere i topništvo. Raketni projektili, granate i mine blokirali su usred minskog polja barem jedan borbeni Leopard 2, više od desetak Bradleyja i tri minske ralice. Njihove posade su se iz njih izvukle noseći svoje mrtve i ranjene na rukama, sve do dolaska spasilačkih snaga koje su im pristigle u pomoć u borbenim oklopnjacima M-2 Bradley.

Bez jake zračne potpore Rusi bi možda bili izgubili ovu bitku, primijetio je naknadno jedan ruski bloger. Da je brigada oružanih snaga Ukrajine, obučena na poligonima NATO-a, uspješno prošla do kraja ruskih minskih polja, zaključili su da bi se vjerojatno brzo pretvorila u snažnu borbenu formaciju i uspješno krenula na ruske i proruske vojnike.

Bitka u Maloj Tomački naglašava iznimnu važnost uspješnog čišćenja mina u ovoj fazi ukrajinskog rata.

„Sredstva za čišćenje mina, MCLC-ovi, ne odlučuju o konačnom ishodu bitke. Ali njihov nedostatak itekako može značiti gubitak bitke. Oni nisu seksi dijelovi inženjerijske opreme, ali su itekako kritični za svako probijanje", svojedobno je umirovljeni američki general Mark Hertling opisao iznimnu važnost ovih snažnih eksplozivnih čistača minskih polja.

Neki od zapadnih vojnih analitičara sumnjaju da su u borbi kod Male Tomačke ukrajinski inženjeri zapravo koristili premalo MCLC-ova. Nedavni video iz ukrajinskog napada u blizini Bahmuta sugerira da su u međuvremenu korigirali takvu praksu, jer je razvidno da istovremeno pucaju iz nekoliko gusjeničara M-58, koji su temelj sustava za ispaljivanje eksplozivnih linijskih naboja na minska polja.

Linijski naboj može biti dugačak čak 107 metara i na svakih pola metra nosi više od 2 kilograma plastičnog eksploziva C-4. U slučaju da se MCLC ne uspije normalno detonirati, može se i ručno izazvati eksplozija upaljačima s vremenskom odgodom na svakih nekoliko metara duž njegove mreže.

Slični linijski naboji za proboj kroz minska polja, kao što je američki MCLC, postoje još od Drugog svjetskog rata. Sovjetska vojska imala je svoj sustav UR-77 na sličnim vozilima još od 1977. U sovjetskoj doktrini, koju ruska vojska još uvijek znatno slijedi, MCLC-ovi pripadaju inženjerijskim bataljunima koji služe za potporu taktičkim grupama na prvoj crti.

Najveći problem s MCLC-ovima i njihovim rukovanjem na prvoj crti je u tome što su oni u osnovi dugački namotaji posve nezaštićenih i osjetljivih eksploziva. Pogodi li neprijatelj gusjeničar M-58 ili UR-77 prepun linijskih naboja s nekoliko hitaca iz automatskog topa, to nužno proizvodi efekte golemog vatrometa.

Zato se veće količine ovih vozila i njihovih linijskih punjenja i izbjegava previše izlagati na nezaštićenim vatrenim crtama. Kako bi svojim MCLC-ovima dali priliku za nesmetaniji rad, Ukrajinci trebaju gušću protuzračnu obranu i učinkovitiju protubaterijsku vatru.

Ukrajinska južna protuofenziva doslovce je započela Big Bangom, velikim praskom.

Četiri dana nakon prvih ukrajinskih sondaža najmekših dijelova crte bojišnice koja se proteže duljinom od 160 kilometara preko Zaporiške i Donjecke oblasti, moćne ukrajinske snage pokrenule su se u napad preko velikog ruskog minskog polja na markaciji južno od Male Tomačke u Zaporižju.

Minska polja su jedna od problematičnijih zapreka dosadašnjem značajnijem ukrajinskome napredovanju, piše Forbes.

Borbeni inženjeri iz 33. mehanizirane i 47. jurišne ukrajinske brigade ispalili su kao prvi hitac u započetoj protuofenzivi tzv. MCLC, linijsko punjenje za razminiranje, koje se u žargonu naziva i ‘miclick‘.

Riječ je o raketnom užetu spletenom u mrežu prepunu eksploziva, koja više nego uspješno može probiti prvi put kroz mine i druge neprijateljske prepreke. Preteča ovog izuma nekad je bio bangalore torpedo, cijevi napunjene TNT-om kakvima su se npr. služili američki marinci za prolazak kroz žicu i mine na plažama u Normandiji.

Danas se linijski naboji MCLC-a sa stotinama kilograma eksplozivnog punjenja ispaljuju iz posebnih vozila na velike površine minskih polja u pletenim crijevima, te velikom detonacijom uz pomoć komprimiranog zraka aktiviraju sve postavljene naprave.

Za prolazak borbenim vozilima i pješadiji čiste koridore duljine do stotinu, a širine i do desetak metara.

MCLC-ovi, koje su Ukrajinci ispalili južno od Male Tomačke 8. lipnja, uspješno su očistili prve slojeve ruskih minskih polja, ali svejedno nisu spasili 33. i 47. ukrajinsku brigadu od katastrofe u idućoj fazi proboja, za koju se naširoko čulo.

Iza eksplozije krenuli su naprijed ukrajinski Leopardi 2R, oboružani minskim plugovima te jurišne snage Leoparda 2A6 i druga borbena vozila pješaštva, ali su ruski izviđači odmah uočili Ukrajince i pozvali helikoptere i topništvo. Raketni projektili, granate i mine blokirali su usred minskog polja barem jedan borbeni Leopard 2, više od desetak Bradleyja i tri minske ralice. Njihove posade su se iz njih izvukle noseći svoje mrtve i ranjene na rukama, sve do dolaska spasilačkih snaga koje su im pristigle u pomoć u borbenim oklopnjacima M-2 Bradley.

Bez jake zračne potpore Rusi bi možda bili izgubili ovu bitku, primijetio je naknadno jedan ruski bloger. Da je brigada oružanih snaga Ukrajine, obučena na poligonima NATO-a, uspješno prošla do kraja ruskih minskih polja, zaključili su da bi se vjerojatno brzo pretvorila u snažnu borbenu formaciju i uspješno krenula na ruske i proruske vojnike.

Bitka u Maloj Tomački naglašava iznimnu važnost uspješnog čišćenja mina u ovoj fazi ukrajinskog rata.

„Sredstva za čišćenje mina, MCLC-ovi, ne odlučuju o konačnom ishodu bitke. Ali njihov nedostatak itekako može značiti gubitak bitke. Oni nisu seksi dijelovi inženjerijske opreme, ali su itekako kritični za svako probijanje", svojedobno je umirovljeni američki general Mark Hertling opisao iznimnu važnost ovih snažnih eksplozivnih čistača minskih polja.

Neki od zapadnih vojnih analitičara sumnjaju da su u borbi kod Male Tomačke ukrajinski inženjeri zapravo koristili premalo MCLC-ova. Nedavni video iz ukrajinskog napada u blizini Bahmuta sugerira da su u međuvremenu korigirali takvu praksu, jer je razvidno da istovremeno pucaju iz nekoliko gusjeničara M-58, koji su temelj sustava za ispaljivanje eksplozivnih linijskih naboja na minska polja.

Linijski naboj može biti dugačak čak 107 metara i na svakih pola metra nosi više od 2 kilograma plastičnog eksploziva C-4. U slučaju da se MCLC ne uspije normalno detonirati, može se i ručno izazvati eksplozija upaljačima s vremenskom odgodom na svakih nekoliko metara duž njegove mreže.

Slični linijski naboji za proboj kroz minska polja, kao što je američki MCLC, postoje još od Drugog svjetskog rata. Sovjetska vojska imala je svoj sustav UR-77 na sličnim vozilima još od 1977. U sovjetskoj doktrini, koju ruska vojska još uvijek znatno slijedi, MCLC-ovi pripadaju inženjerijskim bataljunima koji služe za potporu taktičkim grupama na prvoj crti.

Najveći problem s MCLC-ovima i njihovim rukovanjem na prvoj crti je u tome što su oni u osnovi dugački namotaji posve nezaštićenih i osjetljivih eksploziva. Pogodi li neprijatelj gusjeničar M-58 ili UR-77 prepun linijskih naboja s nekoliko hitaca iz automatskog topa, to nužno proizvodi efekte golemog vatrometa.

Zato se veće količine ovih vozila i njihovih linijskih punjenja i izbjegava previše izlagati na nezaštićenim vatrenim crtama. Kako bi svojim MCLC-ovima dali priliku za nesmetaniji rad, Ukrajinci trebaju gušću protuzračnu obranu i učinkovitiju protubaterijsku vatru.
