Agencija Reuters ovaj je tjedan objavila kako Pentagon razmatra prijedlog kompanije Boeing da opskrbljuje Ukrajinu jeftinijim, malim i preciznim bombama postavljenim na rakete koje su lako dostupne, što bi Kijevu omogućilo da izvrši napade daleko iza ruskih linija. Boeingov sustav nazvan Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bomb (GLSDB), u slobodnom prijevodu - bomba malog promjera djelovanja koja se lansira s tla, dio je jednog od trenutnih planova za proizvodnju nove artiljerije za Ukrajinu i američke istočnoevropske saveznike, potvrdili su izvori iz industrije za američke medije.

Što je zapravo GLSDB i što pruža potencijalnom korisniku?

Oružje, koje se proizvodi relativno brzo i jeftino, ima otprilike dvostruko veći domet od standardnih projektila Himars. Ako bude odobren, GLSDB bi Ukrajini dao moć da udvostruči svoju dosadašnju sposobnost preciznog dometa u usporedbi s trenutnim udarima MLRS/HIMARS. Boeingov borbeni sustav ima domet od 160 kilometara.

GLSDB funkcionira tako što kombinira bombu malog promjera GBU-39 Small Diameter Bomb (SMB) s raketnim motorom M26. Osnova za razvoj GLSDB-a je već postojeći Boeingov krstareći jedreći projektil (SDB) namijenjen uporabi s borbenih aviona. Kako SDB nema vlastiti pogon, da bi postao krstareći projektil velikog dometa mora biti spojen s nekom vrstom pogona. Prema Boeingovom prijedlogu Europskom zapovjedništvu SAD-a, koje nadzire isporuke oružja Ukrajini, glavne komponente GLSDB-a bile bi iz trenutnih američkih zaliha. Ukupna cijena GLSDB-a također je važan faktor. Raketni motor M26 je dostupan, a GBU-39 košta oko 40.000 dolara, dok primjerice navođeni MLRS košta oko 100.000 dolara.

Iako je Washington odbio ukrajinske zahtjeve za projektilima ATACMS dometa od 300 kilometara zbog straha da bi udari duboko u Rusiju mogli eskalirati rat, opskrba Kijeva GLSDB-ima omogućila bi Ukrajincima da gađaju ruske vojne ciljeve daleko izvan prve linije bojišnice.

GLSDB ima mala sklopiva krila i opremljen je GPS sustavom te otporan na neka elektronička ometanja. Može se koristiti protiv oklopnih vozila, kao i protiv ciljeva promjera manjeg od metra. Sustav zajednički proizvode Boeing i Saab AB, švedska zrakoplovna i obrambena tvrtka, a razvija se od 2019. godine. Kad su Boeing i Saab 13. listopada 2019. objavili da su uspješno dovršili sva testiranja krstarećeg projektila GLSDB te da je spreman za serijsku proizvodnju, vijest se izgubila u stotinama drugih o razvoju novih borbenih sustava. Usprkos činjenici da proizvođači tvrde da će GLSDB biti revolucionarno oružje, tada su tek rijetki vojni analitičari zabilježili taj datum. No, danas je interes golem. Za razliku od većine topničkih raketa i balističkih projektila, GLSDB ne slijedi balističku putanju, što znači da može gađati ciljeve iz različitih kutova i putanja.

U svojoj promotivnoj literaturi, Saab se hvali GLSDB-om koji se "može lansirati sa skrivenih ili zaštićenih položaja kako bi se izbjeglo otkrivanje", što ga čini manje osjetljivim na protubaterijsku paljbu. GLSDB također nudi dosta svestranosti jer se može ispaljivati ​​iz više različitih lansera, uključujući M270 MLRS lanser na gusjenicama i M142 HIMARS koji se temelji na šasiji s kotačima.

Laserske lanseri koji se koriste u ovim sustavima potencijalno bi mogli biti napunjeni mješavinom topničkih raketa i GLSDB bombi. Prema dokumentu u koji je uvid imao Reuters, GLSDB bi Ukrajini mogao biti isporučen u proljeće 2023.

Dok Sjedinjene Države razmatraju opskrbu Kijeva oružjem većeg dometa Rusija svoje građane priprema za boravak u skloništima. Tako su se ovaj tjedan pojavili istaknuti znakovi koji stanovnike u gradovima u blizini ruske granice s Ukrajinom, ali čak i u Sibiru, udaljenom tisuće kilometara istočno, upozoravaju gdje se nalaze skloništa.  Devet mjeseci nakon što je Vladimir Putin naredio napad na Ukrajinu, osim što je unesrećio ukrajinski narod, rat je izmijenio život do neprepoznatljivosti i u ruskim pograničnim gradovima. Tri su osobe poginule u regiji Belgorod samo prošli tjedan. Agencija Reuters ovaj je tjedan objavila kako Pentagon razmatra prijedlog kompanije Boeing da opskrbljuje Ukrajinu jeftinijim, malim i preciznim bombama postavljenim na rakete koje su lako dostupne, što bi Kijevu omogućilo da izvrši napade daleko iza ruskih linija. Boeingov sustav nazvan Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bomb (GLSDB), u slobodnom prijevodu - bomba malog promjera djelovanja koja se lansira s tla, dio je jednog od trenutnih planova za proizvodnju nove artiljerije za Ukrajinu i američke istočnoevropske saveznike, potvrdili su izvori iz industrije za američke medije.

Što je zapravo GLSDB i što pruža potencijalnom korisniku?

Oružje, koje se proizvodi relativno brzo i jeftino, ima otprilike dvostruko veći domet od standardnih projektila Himars. Ako bude odobren, GLSDB bi Ukrajini dao moć da udvostruči svoju dosadašnju sposobnost preciznog dometa u usporedbi s trenutnim udarima MLRS/HIMARS. Boeingov borbeni sustav ima domet od 160 kilometara.

GLSDB funkcionira tako što kombinira bombu malog promjera GBU-39 Small Diameter Bomb (SMB) s raketnim motorom M26. Osnova za razvoj GLSDB-a je već postojeći Boeingov krstareći jedreći projektil (SDB) namijenjen uporabi s borbenih aviona. Kako SDB nema vlastiti pogon, da bi postao krstareći projektil velikog dometa mora biti spojen s nekom vrstom pogona. Prema Boeingovom prijedlogu Europskom zapovjedništvu SAD-a, koje nadzire isporuke oružja Ukrajini, glavne komponente GLSDB-a bile bi iz trenutnih američkih zaliha. Ukupna cijena GLSDB-a također je važan faktor. Raketni motor M26 je dostupan, a GBU-39 košta oko 40.000 dolara, dok primjerice navođeni MLRS košta oko 100.000 dolara.

Iako je Washington odbio ukrajinske zahtjeve za projektilima ATACMS dometa od 300 kilometara zbog straha da bi udari duboko u Rusiju mogli eskalirati rat, opskrba Kijeva GLSDB-ima omogućila bi Ukrajincima da gađaju ruske vojne ciljeve daleko izvan prve linije bojišnice.

GLSDB ima mala sklopiva krila i opremljen je GPS sustavom te otporan na neka elektronička ometanja. Može se koristiti protiv oklopnih vozila, kao i protiv ciljeva promjera manjeg od metra. Sustav zajednički proizvode Boeing i Saab AB, švedska zrakoplovna i obrambena tvrtka, a razvija se od 2019. godine. Kad su Boeing i Saab 13. listopada 2019. objavili da su uspješno dovršili sva testiranja krstarećeg projektila GLSDB te da je spreman za serijsku proizvodnju, vijest se izgubila u stotinama drugih o razvoju novih borbenih sustava. Usprkos činjenici da proizvođači tvrde da će GLSDB biti revolucionarno oružje, tada su tek rijetki vojni analitičari zabilježili taj datum. No, danas je interes golem. Za razliku od većine topničkih raketa i balističkih projektila, GLSDB ne slijedi balističku putanju, što znači da može gađati ciljeve iz različitih kutova i putanja.

U svojoj promotivnoj literaturi, Saab se hvali GLSDB-om koji se "može lansirati sa skrivenih ili zaštićenih položaja kako bi se izbjeglo otkrivanje", što ga čini manje osjetljivim na protubaterijsku paljbu. GLSDB također nudi dosta svestranosti jer se može ispaljivati ​​iz više različitih lansera, uključujući M270 MLRS lanser na gusjenicama i M142 HIMARS koji se temelji na šasiji s kotačima.

Laserske lanseri koji se koriste u ovim sustavima potencijalno bi mogli biti napunjeni mješavinom topničkih raketa i GLSDB bombi. Prema dokumentu u koji je uvid imao Reuters, GLSDB bi Ukrajini mogao biti isporučen u proljeće 2023.

Dok Sjedinjene Države razmatraju opskrbu Kijeva oružjem većeg dometa Rusija svoje građane priprema za boravak u skloništima. Tako su se ovaj tjedan pojavili istaknuti znakovi koji stanovnike u gradovima u blizini ruske granice s Ukrajinom, ali čak i u Sibiru, udaljenom tisuće kilometara istočno, upozoravaju gdje se nalaze skloništa. Znakovi koji upućuju ljude na skloništa postavljeni su u Belgorodu, gradu samo 40-tak kilometara od Ukrajine, kao i Rostovu na Donu, udaljenima 60 kilometara kao i u Novokuznjecku, industrijskom gradu u Sibiru čije tvornice opskrbljuju čelikom ruske tenkove. Neki su znakovi uočeni i u Moskvi. Rusko Vijeće sigurnosti nedavno je naredilo ažuriranje kompletnog popisa skloništa koja se nalaze ispod stambenih blokova.

 Devet mjeseci nakon što je Vladimir Putin naredio napad na Ukrajinu, osim što je unesrećio ukrajinski narod, rat je izmijenio život do neprepoznatljivosti i u ruskim pograničnim gradovima. Tri su osobe poginule u regiji Belgorod samo prošli tjedan. Smatra se da su ukrajinske specijalne snage dosad gađale rafinerije nafte, skladišta streljiva i komunikacijske mreže u nizu odvažnih prekograničnih operacija.
