Singapur koji je uspio suzbiti epidemiju koronavirusa tako što je otkrivao putove njegova prijenosa, morao je zatvoriti škole i poduzeća pozivajući stanovnike da ostanu kod kuće, rekao je u petak Lee Hsien Loong, premijer tog grada-države koja se bori s drugim valom zaraze, prenosi Jutarnji list.

- Promatrajući trend, bojim se da bi se, ne uvedemo li dodatne mjere, situacija mogla pogoršati i da bi druga žarišta infekcije mogla radikalno promijeniti stvari - rekao je premijer te zemlje na jugoistoku Azije u televizijskom obraćanju.

Singapur, koji je nakon Kine bio među prvim zemljama zahvaćenim koronavirusom, zadržao je epidemiju pod kontrolom zahvaljujući testiranju velikog broja ljudi i sustavno prateći i izolirajući sve kontakte zaraženih.

Vlasti su postupno pooštravale mjere zatvarajući barove i noćne klubove, ali sve dosad nisu uvodile strogu zabranu kretanja. Singapur je usto zabranio strancima ulazak u zemlju.

No, nakon porasta broja zaraženih ovih dana premijer je rekao da želi "strujnim udarom" zaustaviti širenje virusa. Poduzeća će od utorka biti zatvorena, osim onih koja pružaju osnovne usluge, poput trgovačkih centara, bolnica i poduzeća u važnim gospodarskim sektorima.

Škole neće raditi, osim za djecu čiji roditelji moraju raditi i nemaju druge mogućnosti. Stanovnici moraju ostati kod kuće, osim ako moraju otići po namirnice ili u rekreaciju.

Singapur ima 1114 zaraženih Covidom-19 i petero umrlih. U svijetu je već više od milijun ljudi zaraženo i 50.000 je umrlo.

Singapur koji je uspio suzbiti epidemiju koronavirusa tako što je otkrivao putove njegova prijenosa, morao je zatvoriti škole i poduzeća pozivajući stanovnike da ostanu kod kuće, rekao je u petak Lee Hsien Loong, premijer tog grada-države koja se bori s drugim valom zaraze, prenosi Jutarnji list.

- Promatrajući trend, bojim se da bi se, ne uvedemo li dodatne mjere, situacija mogla pogoršati i da bi druga žarišta infekcije mogla radikalno promijeniti stvari - rekao je premijer te zemlje na jugoistoku Azije u televizijskom obraćanju.

Singapur, koji je nakon Kine bio među prvim zemljama zahvaćenim koronavirusom, zadržao je epidemiju pod kontrolom zahvaljujući testiranju velikog broja ljudi i sustavno prateći i izolirajući sve kontakte zaraženih.

Vlasti su postupno pooštravale mjere zatvarajući barove i noćne klubove, ali sve dosad nisu uvodile strogu zabranu kretanja. Singapur je usto zabranio strancima ulazak u zemlju.

No, nakon porasta broja zaraženih ovih dana premijer je rekao da želi "strujnim udarom" zaustaviti širenje virusa. Poduzeća će od utorka biti zatvorena, osim onih koja pružaju osnovne usluge, poput trgovačkih centara, bolnica i poduzeća u važnim gospodarskim sektorima.

Škole neće raditi, osim za djecu čiji roditelji moraju raditi i nemaju druge mogućnosti. Stanovnici moraju ostati kod kuće, osim ako moraju otići po namirnice ili u rekreaciju.

Singapur ima 1114 zaraženih Covidom-19 i petero umrlih. U svijetu je već više od milijun ljudi zaraženo i 50.000 je umrlo.
