Pozicionira li se Indija kao jedna od vodećih svjetskih supersila uz Sjedinjene Države, EU i Kinu? Same stope rasta indijskog gospodarstva, kao i činjenica da je Indija već postala najmnogoljudnija zemlja svijeta, govore kako razmjeri njezine važnosti rastu. Međutim, sad se otvara i pitanje hoće li zbog svoje veličine i potencijala Indija postati globalna investicijska meka. Pri ovome je zanimljivo da čak i iskusne investitore iznenađuju informacije koliko je indijsko dioničko tržište bilo zahvalno za ulaganja u zadnjih 30 godina, piše Jutarnji.hr.

Niraj Bhagwat i Philip Brooks iz Wellington Mangementa iznenadili su tako sami sebe, ali i klijente kuće za koju rade, usporedbom performansi ključnih globalnih dioničkih tržišta u 30-godišnjom razdoblju od 31. prosinca 1992. do 30. ožujka 2022. godine. Investitore nije iznenadilo to što su dugoročni povrati svakog uloženog dolara bili puno viši u Sjedinjenim Državama, nego u Kini, ali je spoznaja da je indijska izvedba bila također puno bolja od kineske mnoge šokirala. Treba, naime, voditi računa o tome kako je kinesko tržište već dugo u fokusu brojnih investitora, dok su indijske dionice praktično bile ignorirane.

Istraživači su usporedili američki S&P 500 indeks, kineski MSCI i indijski MSCI indeks.

Zaključak Wellingtonovih eksperata je jednostavan, ali ne manje iznenađujući: “U Kini je sve zbog vlade; u Indiji je sve unatoč vladi”.

Tu samo naizgled neobičnu tezu objašnjavaju drugačijim temeljima gospodarskog rasta:

- Iako je Kina pružila dovoljnu potporu razvoju industrije tijekom desetljeća, uključujući postavljanje infrastrukture svjetske klase za transport i distribuciju i nuđenje materijalnih subvencija, to nije bio slučaj u Indiji. U stvari, cijena kapitala bila je daleko viša u Indiji, nego u Kini, dok je konkurencija među igračima u industriji bila manja. S druge strane, vjerujemo da je to dovelo do ‘preživljavanja najjačih‘ na indijskom tržištu dionica, pri čemu su mnoge tvrtke koje ostvaruju održivo veće povrate kapitala postale ‘pobjednici‘. Ove visoke razine povrata kapitala u velikoj su mjeri potaknule snažnu izvedbu indijskog tržišta tijekom vremena - ustvrdili su u Wellingtonu.

Postoji pet razloga zbog kojih bi Indija nakon Kine mogla postati novim globalnim motorom rasta.

1. Investicijski krajobraz Indije ubrzano se mijenja; ulagači na tom velikom tržištu u godinama koje dolaze mogu npr. očekivati cijeli niz internetskih, medijskih i e-commerce biznisa. Uz to, trenutačno je industrija samo 1 posto MSCI indeksa za Indiju te se pretpostavlja da će taj udio snažno rasti - u Kini je taj udio već 18 posto.

2. Izvrsna demografija: samo urbana populacija Indije u sljedećih će se 15 godina povećati za 125 milijuna ljudi. Pri tome se očekuje da će potrošačka moć indijskih kućanstava u razdoblju 2020. - 2030. porasti oko 2,5 puta. Uz trend pada troškova zaduživanja te oslobađanje sve većeg dijela dohotka za široku potrošnju, demografija će stoga sigurno jako potaći rast.

3. U Sjedinjenim Državama i EU kompanije sve češće traže partnere u Indiji kako bi osigurale višu učinkovitost lanaca opskrbe, pa Indija prolazi kroz razdoblje eksplozije izvoza. Pri ovome globalni trend digitalizacije postaje zamašnjak strukturalnih promjena u Indiji kao globalnog outsorcing centra.

4. Globalna geopolitička napetost dodaje na važnosti veličini i pozicijama Indije. Političke trzavice SAD-a i Kine povoljno utječu na pozicioniranje Indije politički i gospodarski.

5. U razdoblju od 2017. do danas indijska vlada lansirala je niz ambicioznih reformskih projekata - izmjene poreznih pravila kod dobara i usluga, rezanje korporativnih poreza, privatizacija industrije, investicijske inicijative, inzistiranje na digitalizaciji, ‘Make in India‘ program, državni plan ulaganju u infrastrukturu od 1500 milijardi dolara u sljedećih pet godina…

Pozicionira li se Indija kao jedna od vodećih svjetskih supersila uz Sjedinjene Države, EU i Kinu? Same stope rasta indijskog gospodarstva, kao i činjenica da je Indija već postala najmnogoljudnija zemlja svijeta, govore kako razmjeri njezine važnosti rastu. Međutim, sad se otvara i pitanje hoće li zbog svoje veličine i potencijala Indija postati globalna investicijska meka. Pri ovome je zanimljivo da čak i iskusne investitore iznenađuju informacije koliko je indijsko dioničko tržište bilo zahvalno za ulaganja u zadnjih 30 godina, piše Jutarnji.hr.

Niraj Bhagwat i Philip Brooks iz Wellington Mangementa iznenadili su tako sami sebe, ali i klijente kuće za koju rade, usporedbom performansi ključnih globalnih dioničkih tržišta u 30-godišnjom razdoblju od 31. prosinca 1992. do 30. ožujka 2022. godine. Investitore nije iznenadilo to što su dugoročni povrati svakog uloženog dolara bili puno viši u Sjedinjenim Državama, nego u Kini, ali je spoznaja da je indijska izvedba bila također puno bolja od kineske mnoge šokirala. Treba, naime, voditi računa o tome kako je kinesko tržište već dugo u fokusu brojnih investitora, dok su indijske dionice praktično bile ignorirane.

Istraživači su usporedili američki S&P 500 indeks, kineski MSCI i indijski MSCI indeks.

Zaključak Wellingtonovih eksperata je jednostavan, ali ne manje iznenađujući: “U Kini je sve zbog vlade; u Indiji je sve unatoč vladi”.

Tu samo naizgled neobičnu tezu objašnjavaju drugačijim temeljima gospodarskog rasta:

- Iako je Kina pružila dovoljnu potporu razvoju industrije tijekom desetljeća, uključujući postavljanje infrastrukture svjetske klase za transport i distribuciju i nuđenje materijalnih subvencija, to nije bio slučaj u Indiji. U stvari, cijena kapitala bila je daleko viša u Indiji, nego u Kini, dok je konkurencija među igračima u industriji bila manja. S druge strane, vjerujemo da je to dovelo do ‘preživljavanja najjačih‘ na indijskom tržištu dionica, pri čemu su mnoge tvrtke koje ostvaruju održivo veće povrate kapitala postale ‘pobjednici‘. Ove visoke razine povrata kapitala u velikoj su mjeri potaknule snažnu izvedbu indijskog tržišta tijekom vremena - ustvrdili su u Wellingtonu.

Postoji pet razloga zbog kojih bi Indija nakon Kine mogla postati novim globalnim motorom rasta.

1. Investicijski krajobraz Indije ubrzano se mijenja; ulagači na tom velikom tržištu u godinama koje dolaze mogu npr. očekivati cijeli niz internetskih, medijskih i e-commerce biznisa. Uz to, trenutačno je industrija samo 1 posto MSCI indeksa za Indiju te se pretpostavlja da će taj udio snažno rasti - u Kini je taj udio već 18 posto.

2. Izvrsna demografija: samo urbana populacija Indije u sljedećih će se 15 godina povećati za 125 milijuna ljudi. Pri tome se očekuje da će potrošačka moć indijskih kućanstava u razdoblju 2020. - 2030. porasti oko 2,5 puta. Uz trend pada troškova zaduživanja te oslobađanje sve većeg dijela dohotka za široku potrošnju, demografija će stoga sigurno jako potaći rast.

3. U Sjedinjenim Državama i EU kompanije sve češće traže partnere u Indiji kako bi osigurale višu učinkovitost lanaca opskrbe, pa Indija prolazi kroz razdoblje eksplozije izvoza. Pri ovome globalni trend digitalizacije postaje zamašnjak strukturalnih promjena u Indiji kao globalnog outsorcing centra.

4. Globalna geopolitička napetost dodaje na važnosti veličini i pozicijama Indije. Političke trzavice SAD-a i Kine povoljno utječu na pozicioniranje Indije politički i gospodarski.

5. U razdoblju od 2017. do danas indijska vlada lansirala je niz ambicioznih reformskih projekata - izmjene poreznih pravila kod dobara i usluga, rezanje korporativnih poreza, privatizacija industrije, investicijske inicijative, inzistiranje na digitalizaciji, ‘Make in India‘ program, državni plan ulaganju u infrastrukturu od 1500 milijardi dolara u sljedećih pet godina…
