Pred saveznicima je sve manje vremena da prikupe goleme količine oružja i pošalju ga na vrijeme do ukrajinskih bojišnica, uoči planirane proljetne protuofanzive ukrajinske vojske protiv ukopanih ruskih snaga, upozoravaju američki dužnosnici.

Američki ministar obrane Lloyd Austin upozorio je na konferenciji za novinare da je riječ o "monumentalnom zadatku" da se iz europskih središta i luka do ukrajinskih cesta i željeznice prebaci sva potrebna vojna oprema, streljivo, novi protuzračni sustavi i tenkovi, i to istovremeno dok se Ukrajinci obučavaju kako da ih koriste.

Tri glavna punkta za prebacivanje oružja za Ukrajinu trenutno su u Poljskoj, Slovačkoj i Rumunjskoj, piše Washington Post. Ako će zemlje čekati do kraja ožujka da pošalju obećano oružje, ta će tri transportna čvorišta biti potpuno zagušena, pa oružje i municija neće stići na vrijeme, upozorava američki dužnosnik kojeg citira Washintgon Post.

Kad konvoj prođe granicu Ukrajine, potencijalna je meta ruskog napada. Zapovjednik Združenog stožera američke vojske general Mark A. Milley ustvrdio je na konferenciji za novinare s ministrom obrane da konvoji s oružjem zasad uspješno dolaze na cilj, kroz Ukrajinu idu različitim rutama i u različita vremena kako bi izbjegli da budu presretnuti i napadnuti.

Tranzitne rute

Velik dio koordinacije odvija se u Europskom zapovjedništvu američke vojske u Njemačkoj. Američki zapovjednici tamo se bore da tek pristigle tenkove i druga oklopna vozila iz luka i drugih dijelova Europe prebace u područja gdje američke i druge snage obučavaju ukrajinske trupe kako da ih koriste.

No, NATO i SAD potiču i zemlje donatore da preuzmu inicijativu u koordinaciji nesmetanog protoka oružja do Ukrajine. Njemačka, koja se mjesecima opirala slanju svog glavnog borbenog tenka Leopard u Ukrajinu, sada predvodi skupinu zemalja koje doniraju Leoparde iz vlastitih vojnih arsenala, kako bi koordinirala njihovo slanje u Ukrajinu. Cilj je osigurati stalan protok tenkova i oklopnih vozila, bez zakrčivanja tranzitnih ruta.

Nedostatak streljiva također postaje problem, iako se zemlje NATO-a trude povećati proizvodnju. Ukrajina troši streljivo u količini koju nismo mogli ni zamisliti, naglasila je nizozemska ministrica obrane Kajsa Ollongren. Glavni tajnik NATO-a Jens Stoltenberg poručuje da članice zapadnog obrambenog saveza istražuju kako ojačati vojnu industriju u svojim zemljama.

Bez streljiva

U kratkom roku, vojne tvornice mogu povećati svoju proizvodnju uviđenjem više proizvodnih smjena, odnosno s većim korištenjem postojećih proizvodnih pogona, izjavio je glavni tajnik NATO-a u ponedjeljak. No, da bi se značajnije povećala proizvodnja oružja i municije, bilo bi nužno ulagati i graditi nove tvornice.

To sad već postaje problem i za NATO, jer su neke zamlje donirale svoje cjelokupne zalihe određenog oružja ili vrste streljiva, pa "to potencijalno počinje utjecati na obranu saveza", upozorava glavni tajnik NATO-a. Međutim, Ukrajina ne može čekati, piše američki list. Proljeće je za nekoliko tjedana, ističe američki ministar obrane Lloyd Austin.

Pred saveznicima je sve manje vremena da prikupe goleme količine oružja i pošalju ga na vrijeme do ukrajinskih bojišnica, uoči planirane proljetne protuofanzive ukrajinske vojske protiv ukopanih ruskih snaga, upozoravaju američki dužnosnici.

Američki ministar obrane Lloyd Austin upozorio je na konferenciji za novinare da je riječ o "monumentalnom zadatku" da se iz europskih središta i luka do ukrajinskih cesta i željeznice prebaci sva potrebna vojna oprema, streljivo, novi protuzračni sustavi i tenkovi, i to istovremeno dok se Ukrajinci obučavaju kako da ih koriste.

Tri glavna punkta za prebacivanje oružja za Ukrajinu trenutno su u Poljskoj, Slovačkoj i Rumunjskoj, piše Washington Post. Ako će zemlje čekati do kraja ožujka da pošalju obećano oružje, ta će tri transportna čvorišta biti potpuno zagušena, pa oružje i municija neće stići na vrijeme, upozorava američki dužnosnik kojeg citira Washintgon Post.

Kad konvoj prođe granicu Ukrajine, potencijalna je meta ruskog napada. Zapovjednik Združenog stožera američke vojske general Mark A. Milley ustvrdio je na konferenciji za novinare s ministrom obrane da konvoji s oružjem zasad uspješno dolaze na cilj, kroz Ukrajinu idu različitim rutama i u različita vremena kako bi izbjegli da budu presretnuti i napadnuti.

Tranzitne rute

Velik dio koordinacije odvija se u Europskom zapovjedništvu američke vojske u Njemačkoj. Američki zapovjednici tamo se bore da tek pristigle tenkove i druga oklopna vozila iz luka i drugih dijelova Europe prebace u područja gdje američke i druge snage obučavaju ukrajinske trupe kako da ih koriste.

No, NATO i SAD potiču i zemlje donatore da preuzmu inicijativu u koordinaciji nesmetanog protoka oružja do Ukrajine. Njemačka, koja se mjesecima opirala slanju svog glavnog borbenog tenka Leopard u Ukrajinu, sada predvodi skupinu zemalja koje doniraju Leoparde iz vlastitih vojnih arsenala, kako bi koordinirala njihovo slanje u Ukrajinu. Cilj je osigurati stalan protok tenkova i oklopnih vozila, bez zakrčivanja tranzitnih ruta.

Nedostatak streljiva također postaje problem, iako se zemlje NATO-a trude povećati proizvodnju. Ukrajina troši streljivo u količini koju nismo mogli ni zamisliti, naglasila je nizozemska ministrica obrane Kajsa Ollongren. Glavni tajnik NATO-a Jens Stoltenberg poručuje da članice zapadnog obrambenog saveza istražuju kako ojačati vojnu industriju u svojim zemljama.

Bez streljiva

U kratkom roku, vojne tvornice mogu povećati svoju proizvodnju uviđenjem više proizvodnih smjena, odnosno s većim korištenjem postojećih proizvodnih pogona, izjavio je glavni tajnik NATO-a u ponedjeljak. No, da bi se značajnije povećala proizvodnja oružja i municije, bilo bi nužno ulagati i graditi nove tvornice.

To sad već postaje problem i za NATO, jer su neke zamlje donirale svoje cjelokupne zalihe određenog oružja ili vrste streljiva, pa "to potencijalno počinje utjecati na obranu saveza", upozorava glavni tajnik NATO-a. Međutim, Ukrajina ne može čekati, piše američki list. Proljeće je za nekoliko tjedana, ističe američki ministar obrane Lloyd Austin.

Pred saveznicima je sve manje vremena da prikupe goleme količine oružja i pošalju ga na vrijeme do ukrajinskih bojišnica, uoči planirane proljetne protuofanzive ukrajinske vojske protiv ukopanih ruskih snaga, upozoravaju američki dužnosnici.

Američki ministar obrane Lloyd Austin upozorio je na konferenciji za novinare da je riječ o "monumentalnom zadatku" da se iz europskih središta i luka do ukrajinskih cesta i željeznice prebaci sva potrebna vojna oprema, streljivo, novi protuzračni sustavi i tenkovi, i to istovremeno dok se Ukrajinci obučavaju kako da ih koriste.
