Britanska tajna služba MI6 slijedila je potez ministarstva obrane te se ispričala za svoj tretman homoseksualaca.

Činjenica da do 1991. LGBT+ osobe nisu smjele raditi za poznatu službu iz sigurnosnih razloga bila je "pogrešna, nepravedna i diskriminirajuća", rekao je šef MI6 Richard Moore u video poruci objavljenoj u petak.

To je, rekao je, upropastilo živote posvećenih profesionalaca i a drugima onemogućilo službu.

Istospolne veze dekriminalizirane su u Britaniji 1967.

Ipak, homoseksualci nisu smjeli raditi u MI6, poznatoj širom svijeta iz filmova o Jamesu Bondu, sve do 1991. godine.

Pogrešno se smatralo da se homoseksualce može lakše ucjenjivati, rekao je Moore. "Ti ljudi nisu bili nacionalna prijetnja zato što su bili  LGBT+. Naravno da nisu".

Nedavno je ministarstvo obrane najavilo da veterani koji su otpušteni iz vojske zbog spolne orijentacije mogu zatražiti povrat svojih medalja. Cilj je ispraviti "povijesne nepravde".

Do  2000., homoseksualci nisu smjeli služiti u oružanim snagama.

Britanska tajna služba MI6 slijedila je potez ministarstva obrane te se ispričala za svoj tretman homoseksualaca.

Činjenica da do 1991. LGBT+ osobe nisu smjele raditi za poznatu službu iz sigurnosnih razloga bila je "pogrešna, nepravedna i diskriminirajuća", rekao je šef MI6 Richard Moore u video poruci objavljenoj u petak.

To je, rekao je, upropastilo živote posvećenih profesionalaca i a drugima onemogućilo službu.

Istospolne veze dekriminalizirane su u Britaniji 1967.

Ipak, homoseksualci nisu smjeli raditi u MI6, poznatoj širom svijeta iz filmova o Jamesu Bondu, sve do 1991. godine.

Pogrešno se smatralo da se homoseksualce može lakše ucjenjivati, rekao je Moore. "Ti ljudi nisu bili nacionalna prijetnja zato što su bili  LGBT+. Naravno da nisu".

Nedavno je ministarstvo obrane najavilo da veterani koji su otpušteni iz vojske zbog spolne orijentacije mogu zatražiti povrat svojih medalja. Cilj je ispraviti "povijesne nepravde".

Do  2000., homoseksualci nisu smjeli služiti u oružanim snagama.

Britanska tajna služba MI6 slijedila je potez ministarstva obrane te se ispričala za svoj tretman homoseksualaca.

Činjenica da do 1991. LGBT+ osobe nisu smjele raditi za poznatu službu iz sigurnosnih razloga bila je "pogrešna, nepravedna i diskriminirajuća", rekao je šef MI6 Richard Moore u video poruci objavljenoj u petak.

To je, rekao je, upropastilo živote posvećenih profesionalaca i a drugima onemogućilo službu.

Istospolne veze dekriminalizirane su u Britaniji 1967.

Ipak, homoseksualci nisu smjeli raditi u MI6, poznatoj širom svijeta iz filmova o Jamesu Bondu, sve do 1991. godine.

Pogrešno se smatralo da se homoseksualce može lakše ucjenjivati, rekao je Moore. "Ti ljudi nisu bili nacionalna prijetnja zato što su bili  LGBT+. Naravno da nisu".

Nedavno je ministarstvo...
