Tisuće ljudi okupile su se u nedjelju u Kopenhagenu na prosvjedu protiv vladina prijedloga da se ukine državni praznik radi financiranja povećane potrošnje za obranu.

Prosvjed su organizirali najveći sindikati u zemlji koji se protive ukidanju Dana velike molitve, kršćanskog praznika koji pada četvrtog petka nakon Uskrsa, a potječe iz 1686. godine.

Sindikati su procijenili da se okupilo najmanje 50.000 ljudi, po čemu bi to bio najveći prosvjed u zemlji u više od deset godina.

Policija nije objavila koliko se ljudi okupilo na prosvjedu.

Ukidanje praznika predloženo je u prosincu u cilju prikupljanja poreza za veća izdvajanja za obranu u svjetlu rata u Ukrajini.

Vlada je predložila da zemlja ostvari NATO-ov cilj izdvajanja 2 posto BDP-a za obranu 2030., tri godine ranije. Većinu od 654 milijuna američkih dolara koliko je za to potrebno moglo bi se pokriti višim poreznim prihodima od ukidanja praznika, tvrdi.

No sindikati, oporbeni zastupnici i ekonomisti u to ne vjeruju.

Vlada ima tijesnu većinu u parlamentu i namjerava progurati zakon neovisno o otporu.

Tisuće ljudi okupile su se u nedjelju u Kopenhagenu na prosvjedu protiv vladina prijedloga da se ukine državni praznik radi financiranja povećane potrošnje za obranu.

Prosvjed su organizirali najveći sindikati u zemlji koji se protive ukidanju Dana velike molitve, kršćanskog praznika koji pada četvrtog petka nakon Uskrsa, a potječe iz 1686. godine.

Sindikati su procijenili da se okupilo najmanje 50.000 ljudi, po čemu bi to bio najveći prosvjed u zemlji u više od deset godina.

Policija nije objavila koliko se ljudi okupilo na prosvjedu.

Ukidanje praznika predloženo je u prosincu u cilju prikupljanja poreza za veća izdvajanja za obranu u svjetlu rata u Ukrajini.

Vlada je predložila da zemlja ostvari NATO-ov cilj izdvajanja 2 posto BDP-a za obranu 2030., tri godine ranije. Većinu od 654 milijuna američkih dolara koliko je za to potrebno moglo bi se pokriti višim poreznim prihodima od ukidanja praznika, tvrdi.

No sindikati, oporbeni zastupnici i ekonomisti u to ne vjeruju.

Vlada ima tijesnu većinu u parlamentu i namjerava progurati zakon neovisno o otporu.

Najmanje 50.000 Danaca prosvjedovalo protiv ukidanja državnog praznika radi financiranja povećane potrošnje za obranu

Tisuće ljudi okupile su se u nedjelju u Kopenhagenu na prosvjedu protiv vladina prijedloga da se ukine državni praznik radi financiranja povećane potrošnje za obranu.

Prosvjed su organizirali najveći sindikati u zemlji koji se protive ukidanju Dana velike molitve, kršćanskog praznika koji pada četvrtog petka nakon Uskrsa, a potječe iz 1686. godine.

Sindikati su procijenili da se okupilo najmanje 50.000 ljudi, po čemu bi to bio najveći prosvjed u zemlji u više od deset godina.

Policija nije objavila koliko se ljudi okupilo na prosvjedu.

Ukidanje praznika predloženo je u prosincu u cilju prikupljanja poreza za veća izdvajanja za obranu u svjetlu rata u Ukrajini.

Vlada je predložila da zemlja ostvari NATO-ov cilj izdvajanja 2 posto BDP-a za obranu...
