Minneapolis će dozvoliti emitiranje ezana (muslimanskog poziva za molitvu) u svako doba, postajući prvi veliki grad u SAD-u koji će dozvoliti da se ezan čuje preko zvučnika pet puta dnevno, tijekom cijele godine.

Gradsko vijeće Minneapolisa jednoglasno se složilo da izmijeni gradsku uredbu o buci, koja je spriječila pozive u zoru i kasno uvečer u određeno doba godine zbog ograničenja buke, izvijestio je Minneapolis Star Tribune. Minneapolis će dozvoliti emitiranje ezana (muslimanskog poziva za molitvu) u svako doba, postajući prvi veliki grad u SAD-u koji će dozvoliti da se ezan čuje preko zvučnika pet puta dnevno, tijekom cijele godine.

Gradsko vijeće Minneapolisa jednoglasno se složilo da izmijeni gradsku uredbu o buci, koja je spriječila pozive u zoru i kasno uvečer u određeno doba godine zbog ograničenja buke, izvijestio je Minneapolis Star Tribune. Minneapolis ima brojnu populaciju istočnoafričkih imigranata, a džamije su danas uobičajene. Tri od 13 članova vijeća izjašnjavaju se kao Muslimani. Odluka nije izazvala organizovano protivljenje zajednice. Očekuje se da će gradonačelnik Jacob Frey potpisati mjeru sljedeće sedmice.

"Minneapolis je postao grad za sve religije", rekao je imam Mohammed Dukuly iz džamije Masjid An-Nur u Minneapolisu, koji je bio među nekoliko muslimanskih vođa koji su svjedočili glasanju.

Grad je prošle godine dopustio emitiranje tijekom cijele godine, ali samo između 7 i 22 sata, obično isključujući ranu jutarnju molitvu (sabah) i ponekad noćnu molitvu (jaciju).

Minneapolis će dozvoliti emitiranje ezana (muslimanskog poziva za molitvu) u svako doba, postajući prvi veliki grad u SAD-u koji će dozvoliti da se ezan čuje preko zvučnika pet puta dnevno, tijekom cijele godine.

Gradsko vijeće Minneapolisa jednoglasno se složilo da izmijeni gradsku uredbu o buci, koja je spriječila pozive u zoru i kasno uvečer u određeno doba godine zbog ograničenja buke, izvijestio je Minneapolis Star Tribune. Glasanje je održano tijekom muslimanskog svetog mjeseca Ramazana, piše klix.ba.

"Ustav ne spava noću", rekao je Jaylani Hussein, izvršni direktor ogranka Vijeća za američko-islamske odnose u Minnesoti, nakon glasanja, prenio je Associated Press.
