Netom nakon što su u samom središtu Beča u ponedjeljak navečer, oko 20 sati, odjeknuli pucnji, Milanu Prgometu (37), nekadašnjem financijskom direktoru Hajduka i "Tommyja", na zaslon mobitela počele su pristizati poruke obitelji i zabrinutih prijatelja iz Hrvatske.
Ovaj Makaranin u to je vrijeme, srećom, bio u stanu sa suprugom i dvoje djece, no samo dva sata prije nego što je bečkim ulicama zavladao kaos prolazio je središtem grada gdje je jedan od napadača iz automatskog oružja otvorio rafalnu paljbu na slučajne prolaznike.
Četiri su osobe poginule, 17 ih je ozlijeđeno, a sedmero je u životnoj opasnosti. I dok je jedan napadač ubijen, za drugima se u trenutku pisanja ovog teksta još traga. Jutro poslije krvavog pohoda u Beču je zavladao kaos, a u cijeloj Austriji proglašena je trodnevna žalost.
Središte grada postalo je crvena zona, vlada izvanredno stanje. Policija i vojska su naoružane, zaštita je dignuta na najveću razinu. Građani su u šoku, strahu i nevjerici, mnogi traže pomoć psihologa i drugih stručnjaka, njihove telefonske linije užarile su se od poziva. Svi se pitaju što dalje...
Jeza hvata
- Grad je pod opsadom, građani su pozvani da ostanu kod kuće, a škole su zatvorene, tek su rijetki na ulici, zapravo su sasvim puste - kaže nam Prgomet, diplomirani ekonomist, koji već dvije godine živi u Beču.
Prgomet je jedan od suvlasnika ribarnice "Gastro Fisch Brač" koja u austrijsku metropolu stalno dovozi svježu ribu s Jadrana.
- Nisam uistinu ni u snu mogao pomisliti da bi se ovako nešto moglo u Beču dogoditi. Ovdje živi toliko različitih nacija i ljudi drugačije vjeroispovijesti, grad je multikulturno središte, svi uvažavamo jedni druge. Nitko nikome ne smeta ponašati se u skladu sa svojim osjećajima i uvjerenjima, ovo je liberalna i socijalna država. Nikad se nisam osjećao nesigurno. To više smo svi još uvijek u šoku. Cijeli me ovaj scenarij podsjeća na Pariz - u nevjerici će poduzetnik.

- U ponedjeljak navečer bila je neuobičajena topla večer i dosta je građana to lijepo vrijeme željelo iskoristiti jer je od utorka na snagu stupio lockdown. Malo prije napada našao sam se u toj ulici, bila je ogromna fluktuacija prolaznika, u tom dijelu grada nalaze se restorani, banke, trgovački centri, poslovne zgrade, stanice podzemnih željeznica... U minuti prođe masu ljudi i sreća u nesreći je da nije bilo više žrtava. Stvarno me sve skupa šokiralo. Postavlja se niz pitanja nakon svega, od toga jesu li ti napadači već živjeli tu ili su nedavno došli, koliko ih je uopće bilo, hoće li svi biti uhvaćeni... To je nešto što sad najviše plaši Bečane. Hvata ih jeza jer ne znaju koliko će to još trajati i kada će se moći slobodno kretati. Jedno će vrijeme sigurno biti u strahu - dodaje.
A dolazi advent...
Prgomet kaže kako je atmosfera u Austriji zadnja dva tjedna pomalo sumorna jer se pandemija uvelike odrazila i na život Bečana.
- Oni prate sve mjere i odgovorno se ponašaju. Sada se osjećaju blaga panika i jeza, preporučeno im je da se stoji kod kuće, iako su škole zatvorene, neke su dopustile roditeljima da dovedu djecu ako nemaju gdje s njima. Svi se nadamo da će ovo proći i smiriti se do početka prosinca, i što se tiče terorističkog napada i što se tiče virusa. Teži se tome da se broj zaraženih svede na minimum kako bi Beč mogao spremno dočekati turiste za advent koji je za Austriju iznimno važan u turističkom smislu. Sad je neizvjesno što će biti. Iako će ovo samu Austriju dosta uzdrmati, nadam se da će Beč i dalje biti jedno od poželjnijih mjesta za život - optimistično zaključuje Prgomet.

Netom nakon što su u samom središtu Beča u ponedjeljak navečer, oko 20 sati, odjeknuli pucnji, Milanu Prgometu (37), nekadašnjem financijskom direktoru Hajduka i "Tommyja", na zaslon mobitela počele su pristizati poruke obitelji i zabrinutih prijatelja iz Hrvatske.
Ovaj Makaranin u to je vrijeme, srećom, bio u stanu sa suprugom i dvoje djece, no samo dva sata prije nego što je bečkim ulicama zavladao kaos prolazio je središtem grada gdje je jedan od napadača iz automatskog oružja otvorio rafalnu paljbu na slučajne prolaznike.
Četiri su osobe poginule, 17 ih je ozlijeđeno, a sedmero je u životnoj opasnosti. I dok je jedan napadač ubijen, za drugima se u trenutku pisanja ovog teksta još traga. Jutro poslije krvavog pohoda u Beču je zavladao kaos, a u cijeloj Austriji proglašena je trodnevna žalost.
Središte grada postalo je crvena zona, vlada izvanredno stanje. Policija i vojska su naoružane, zaštita je dignuta na najveću razinu. Građani su u šoku, strahu i nevjerici, mnogi traže pomoć psihologa i drugih stručnjaka, njihove telefonske linije užarile su se od poziva. Svi se pitaju što dalje...
Jeza hvata
- Grad je pod opsadom, građani su pozvani da ostanu kod kuće, a škole su zatvorene, tek su rijetki na ulici, zapravo su sasvim puste - kaže nam Prgomet, diplomirani ekonomist, koji već dvije godine živi u Beču.
Prgomet je jedan od suvlasnika ribarnice "Gastro Fisch Brač" koja u austrijsku metropolu stalno dovozi svježu ribu s Jadrana.
- Nisam uistinu ni u snu mogao pomisliti da bi se ovako nešto moglo u Beču dogoditi. Ovdje živi toliko različitih nacija i ljudi drugačije vjeroispovijesti, grad je multikulturno središte, svi uvažavamo jedni druge. Nitko nikome ne smeta ponašati se u skladu sa svojim osjećajima i uvjerenjima, ovo je liberalna i socijalna država. Nikad se nisam osjećao nesigurno. To više smo svi još uvijek u šoku. Cijeli me ovaj scenarij podsjeća na Pariz - u nevjerici će poduzetnik.

- U ponedjeljak navečer bila je neuobičajena topla večer i dosta je građana to lijepo vrijeme željelo iskoristiti jer je od utorka na snagu stupio lockdown. Malo prije napada našao sam se u toj ulici, bila je ogromna fluktuacija prolaznika, u tom dijelu grada nalaze se restorani, banke, trgovački centri, poslovne zgrade, stanice podzemnih željeznica... U minuti prođe masu ljudi i sreća u nesreći je da nije bilo više žrtava. Stvarno me sve skupa šokiralo. Postavlja se niz pitanja nakon svega, od toga jesu li ti napadači već živjeli tu ili su nedavno došli, koliko ih je uopće bilo, hoće li svi biti uhvaćeni... To je nešto što sad najviše plaši Bečane. Hvata ih jeza jer ne znaju koliko će to još trajati i kada će se moći slobodno kretati. Jedno će vrijeme sigurno biti u strahu - dodaje.
A dolazi advent...
Prgomet kaže kako je atmosfera u Austriji zadnja dva tjedna pomalo sumorna jer se pandemija uvelike odrazila i na život Bečana.
- Oni prate sve mjere i odgovorno se ponašaju. Sada se osjećaju blaga panika i jeza, preporučeno im je da se stoji kod kuće, iako su škole zatvorene, neke su dopustile roditeljima da dovedu djecu ako nemaju gdje s njima. Svi se nadamo da će ovo proći i smiriti se do početka prosinca, i što se tiče terorističkog napada i što se tiče virusa. Teži se tome da se broj zaraženih svede na minimum kako bi Beč mogao spremno dočekati turiste za advent koji je za Austriju iznimno važan u turističkom smislu. Sad je neizvjesno što će biti. Iako će ovo samu Austriju dosta uzdrmati, nadam se da će Beč i dalje biti jedno od poželjnijih mjesta za život - optimistično zaključuje Prgomet.
