Liječnik Sean Conley u bolnici Walter Reed održao je konferenciju za medije na kojoj je objavio najnovije informacije o stanju američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa koji je prebačen u bolnicu nakon što mu je u petak potvrđena zaraza koronavirusom.
- Predsjedniku je dobro. Iza mene su predstavnici predsjednikovog liječničkog tima - kazao je Conley te potom predstavio liječnike, prenosi Jutarnji list.
- Kao što smo izvijestili jučer, preporučili smo da predsjednika dovedemo u bolnicu kako bi pratili njegovo stanje. Moj tim i ja smo zadovoljni napretkom stanja predsjednika - kazao je Conley.
- Prima odgovarajuću njegu. Pratimo njegovo stanje, njegove funkcije srca i bubrega i sve je u redu. Predsjednik nema problema s disanjem, odlične je volje, nema potrebe za primanjem kisika. Rekao nam je da je danas spreman otići kući - kazao je liječnik Sean Dooley.
Prije 40 sati je predsjednik primio posebnu terapiju antitijelima, jučer navečer je primio prvu dozu Remdesivira i nastavit ćemo ga liječiti tim lijekom idućih peta dana - kazao je liječnik Garibaldi.
- Nema vrućicu posljednja 24 sata. Optimistični smo - kazao je Conley i dodao za CNN da se simptomi - blagi kašalj, začepljenost nosa i umor - "rješavaju".
Na upit novinara kada bi Trump mogao biti otpušten iz bolnice, liječnici nisu mogli dati odgovor te su kazali da Trump prema svemu neće morati primati kisik.
- Nije primao kisik niti prethodnih dana. Niti ga prima sada - kazao je Conley.
- Predsjednik prima svu nužnu njegu prema međunarodnim protokolima za Covid-19. Imao je vrućicu u četvrtak i petak ujutro, ali je sada više nema. Osjećao je umor i nije imao problema s disanjem - kazao je Conley.
- On ima 74 godine, muškarac je i blago pretio, ali osim toga zdrav je. Kolesterol mu je u redu, nema problema s tlakom, aktivan je. Nije u skupini koja je kritična - kazao je Conley.
Na pitanje novinara kako se predsjednik zarazio, Conley je kazao da ne može govoriti o tome.
Na pitanje zašto Melania Trump nije prevezena u bolnicu, Conley je kazao da nema nikakve potrebe da bude hospitalizirana.
No, izvor koji je upoznat s predsjednikovim zdravljem CNN-u je kazao da su "predsjednikove vitalne funkcije tijekom protekla 24 sata zabrinjavajuće te da će sljedećih 48 sati biti ključni. Još nema jasnog puta prema oporavku", prenosi Jutarnji list.
Izvor blizak Bijeloj kući poručio je i da je predsjednik SAD-a još u petak dobivao kisik.

- Kao što smo izvijestili jučer, preporučili smo da predsjednika dovedemo u bolnicu kako bi pratili njegovo stanje. Moj tim i ja smo zadovoljni napretkom stanja predsjednika - kazao je Conley.
- Prima odgovarajuću njegu. Pratimo njegovo stanje, njegove funkcije srca i bubrega i sve je u redu. Predsjednik nema problema s disanjem, odlične je volje, nema potrebe za primanjem kisika. Rekao nam je da je danas spreman otići kući - kazao je liječnik Sean Dooley.
Prije 40 sati je predsjednik primio posebnu terapiju antitijelima, jučer navečer je primio prvu dozu Remdesivira i nastavit ćemo ga liječiti tim lijekom idućih peta dana - kazao je liječnik Garibaldi.
- Nema vrućicu posljednja 24 sata. Optimistični smo - kazao je Conley i dodao za CNN da se simptomi - blagi kašalj, začepljenost nosa i umor - "rješavaju".
Na upit novinara kada bi Trump mogao biti otpušten iz bolnice, liječnici nisu mogli dati odgovor te su kazali da Trump prema svemu neće morati primati kisik.
- Nije primao kisik niti prethodnih dana. Niti ga prima sada - kazao je Conley.
- Predsjednik prima svu nužnu njegu prema međunarodnim protokolima za Covid-19. Imao je vrućicu u četvrtak i petak ujutro, ali je sada više nema. Osjećao je umor i nije imao problema s disanjem - kazao je Conley.
- On ima 74 godine, muškarac je i blago pretio, ali osim toga zdrav je. Kolesterol mu je u redu, nema problema s tlakom, aktivan je. Nije u skupini koja je kritična - kazao je Conley.
Na pitanje novinara kako se predsjednik zarazio, Conley je kazao da ne može govoriti o tome.
Na pitanje zašto Melania Trump nije prevezena u bolnicu, Conley je kazao da nema nikakve potrebe da bude hospitalizirana.
No, izvor koji je upoznat s predsjednikovim zdravljem CNN-u je kazao da su "predsjednikove vitalne funkcije tijekom protekla 24 sata zabrinjavajuće te da će sljedećih 48 sati biti ključni. Još nema jasnog puta prema oporavku", prenosi Jutarnji list.
Izvor blizak Bijeloj kući poručio je i da je predsjednik SAD-a još u petak dobivao kisik.
