Vojni rok u Izraelu, poznato je, služe i muškarci i žene. Prvi 32 mjeseca, a druge deset manje. Obavezno se mora odslužiti svoje, a jedini koji to odbijaju učiniti jesu ultraortodoksni Židovi, makar je čak i dio njih, nakon pokolja koji je nedavno počinio Hamas, odlučio pristupiti oružanim snagama.
Zašto Izraelci služe najdulji vojni rok na svijetu i na to obvezuju praktički sve punoljetne osobe? Prvenstveno zato jer se od osnivanja Države Izrael 1948. do danas ratovi i sukobi s Palestincima i arapskim državama koje ih okružuju redaju kao na automatskoj traci. Teško će ih nabrojiti i najbolji učenici novije povijesti Bliskog istoka.
Prvi je bio Izraelski rat za neovisnost 1948. godine, a nedugo potom uslijedile su tzv. operacije odmazde od 1951. do 1956. godine, Sinajski rat 1956. godine, Rat za vodu od 1964. do 1967. godine, Šestodnevni rat 1967. godine i Rat iscrpljivanja od 1967. do 1970. godine, a u međuvremenu se dogodila bitka kod Karameha 1968. godine.

Službeni podaci spominju još operaciju Proljeće mladih iz 1973. godine, pa čuveni Jomkipurski rat 1973., kad su Egipat i Sirija ostvarili velike početne uspjehe u borbama u Sueskom kanalu i na Golanskoj visoravni, međutim, efikasna izraelska vojska ipak je brzo okrenula situaciju na terenu u svoju korist i došla četrdeset kilometara nadomak Damaska. Tada su prisilili neprijatelja na pregovore i izvojevali veliku pobjedu.
Godine 1976. na djelu je operacija Entebbe, zatim operacija Litani 1978. godine, pa operacija Opera 1981. godine, a onda slijedi Libanonski rat 1982. godine.
Sukob u južnom Libanonu trajao je od 1982. do 2000. godine, prva intifada Palestinaca od 1987. do 1993. godine, a druga intifada od 2000. do 2005.
Operacija Obrambeni štit izvedena je 2002. godine. Libanonski rat dogodio se 2006. godine, operacija Orchard 2007. godine, operacija Lijevano olovo trajala je od 2008. do 2009. godine, a operacija Stup od oblaka od 2008. do 2009. godine te operacija Čvrsta stijena 2014. godine. Od tada do danas Izrael je samo u Gazi vodio čak šest ratova!

Shvatili ste zašto je onda u državi od nepunih devet milijuna stanovnika puno njih stalno pod punom borbenom spremom, jer ako i nisu profesionalni vojnici ili ročnici, negdje su na vježbama pričuvnih snaga koje su u pripravnosti za "ne daj Bože".
Onima koji na taj način odbiju služiti Državi Izrael prijeti kazna zatvorom do 200 dana. Uz to ih još čeka i društvena diskreditacija jer ih većina smatra izdajicama koje se nisu kadre žrtvovati za slobodu, koja je u Izraelu ugrožena gotovo svakog dana od onih koji se ne mire s njegovim postojanjem.
A ona je faktički obnovljena puno prije 1948. godine, kada je proglašena u UN-u. Već 1905. područje Bliskog istoka naseljavaju Aškenazi, Židovi iz srednje i istočne Europe, a te se migracije osobito povećavaju nakon Prvog svjetskog rata.
Židovi kupuju zemlju od domicilnog palestinskog stanovništva i šire svoja naselja. Antagonizmi i razlike između Židova i Arapa eskalirat će s idejom o dvije države – Izraelu i Palestini, koju je gurala međunarodna zajednica.
Zato su 14. svibnja 1948. susjedne arapske države napale tek utemeljeni Izrael, no nakon godinu dana potučene su do nogu. Od tada počinje rasti mit o nepobjedivoj izraelskoj vojsci, koja je izvrsno obučena i još bolje opremljena najsuvremenijim naoružanjem, koje im redovito dostavlja SAD.

Tragedija koja je počela agresijom arapskih država na Izrael to je veća jer su tada Izraelci prognali silno nežidovsko stanovništvo ili su oni sami otišli sa svojih ognjišta, na koja se nisu vratili do danas.
Svaki od ratova i sukoba Židova i Arapa do sada završavaju na isti način: izraelske oružane snage pokažu se nadmoćnima, a njihov osvetnički gnjev prouzroči nekoliko puta više vojnih, a posebno civilnih žrtava na suprotnoj strani.
Da sve bude gore i opasnije, prema podacima Međunarodnog instituta za mirovne studije sa sjedištem u Švedskoj, Izrael ima na raspolaganju čak 90 nuklearnih bojnih glava, pa je svaki napad na njegov teritorij prijetnja ne samo Bliskom istoku nego i miru u svijetu.

Vojni rok u Izraelu, poznato je, služe i muškarci i žene. Prvi 32 mjeseca, a druge deset manje. Obavezno se mora odslužiti svoje, a jedini koji to odbijaju učiniti jesu ultraortodoksni Židovi, makar je čak i dio njih, nakon pokolja koji je nedavno počinio Hamas, odlučio pristupiti oružanim snagama.
Zašto Izraelci služe najdulji vojni rok na svijetu i na to obvezuju praktički sve punoljetne osobe? Prvenstveno zato jer se od osnivanja Države Izrael 1948. do danas ratovi i sukobi s Palestincima i arapskim državama koje ih okružuju redaju kao na automatskoj traci. Teško će ih nabrojiti i najbolji učenici novije povijesti Bliskog istoka.
Prvi je bio Izraelski rat za neovisnost 1948. godine, a nedugo potom uslijedile su tzv. operacije odmazde od 1951. do 1956. godine, Sinajski rat 1956. godine, Rat za vodu od 1964. do 1967. godine, Šestodnevni rat 1967. godine i Rat iscrpljivanja od 1967. do 1970. godine, a u međuvremenu se dogodila bitka kod Karameha 1968. godine.

Službeni podaci spominju još operaciju Proljeće mladih iz 1973. godine, pa čuveni Jomkipurski rat 1973., kad su Egipat i Sirija ostvarili velike početne uspjehe u borbama u Sueskom kanalu i na Golanskoj visoravni, međutim, efikasna izraelska vojska ipak je brzo okrenula situaciju na terenu u svoju korist i došla četrdeset kilometara nadomak Damaska. Tada su prisilili neprijatelja na pregovore i izvojevali veliku pobjedu.
Godine 1976. na djelu je operacija Entebbe, zatim operacija Litani 1978. godine, pa operacija Opera 1981. godine, a onda slijedi Libanonski rat 1982. godine.
Sukob u južnom Libanonu trajao je od 1982. do 2000. godine, prva intifada Palestinaca od 1987. do 1993. godine, a druga intifada od 2000. do 2005.
Operacija Obrambeni štit izvedena je 2002. godine. Libanonski rat dogodio se 2006. godine, operacija Orchard 2007. godine, operacija Lijevano olovo trajala je od 2008. do 2009. godine, a operacija Stup od oblaka od 2008. do 2009. godine te operacija Čvrsta stijena 2014. godine. Od tada do danas Izrael je samo u Gazi vodio čak šest ratova!

Shvatili ste zašto je onda u državi od nepunih devet milijuna stanovnika puno njih stalno pod punom borbenom spremom, jer ako i nisu profesionalni vojnici ili ročnici, negdje su na vježbama pričuvnih snaga koje su u pripravnosti za "ne daj Bože".
Onima koji na taj način odbiju služiti Državi Izrael prijeti kazna zatvorom do 200 dana. Uz to ih još čeka i društvena diskreditacija jer ih većina smatra izdajicama koje se nisu kadre žrtvovati za slobodu, koja je u Izraelu ugrožena gotovo svakog dana od onih koji se ne mire s njegovim postojanjem.
A ona je faktički obnovljena puno prije 1948. godine, kada je proglašena u UN-u. Već 1905. područje Bliskog istoka naseljavaju Aškenazi, Židovi iz srednje i istočne Europe, a te se migracije osobito povećavaju nakon Prvog svjetskog rata.
Židovi kupuju zemlju od domicilnog palestinskog stanovništva i šire svoja naselja. Antagonizmi i razlike između Židova i Arapa eskalirat će s idejom o dvije države – Izraelu i Palestini, koju je gurala međunarodna zajednica.
Zato su 14. svibnja 1948. susjedne arapske države napale tek utemeljeni Izrael, no nakon godinu dana potučene su do nogu. Od tada počinje rasti mit o nepobjedivoj izraelskoj vojsci, koja je izvrsno obučena i još bolje opremljena najsuvremenijim naoružanjem, koje im redovito dostavlja SAD.

Tragedija koja je počela agresijom arapskih država na Izrael to je veća jer su tada Izraelci prognali silno nežidovsko stanovništvo ili su oni sami otišli sa svojih ognjišta, na koja se nisu vratili do danas.
Svaki od ratova i sukoba Židova i Arapa do sada završavaju na isti način: izraelske oružane snage pokažu se nadmoćnima, a njihov osvetnički gnjev prouzroči nekoliko puta više vojnih, a posebno civilnih žrtava na suprotnoj strani.
Da sve bude gore i opasnije, prema podacima Međunarodnog instituta za mirovne studije sa sjedištem u Švedskoj, Izrael ima na raspolaganju čak 90 nuklearnih bojnih glava, pa je svaki napad na njegov teritorij prijetnja ne samo Bliskom istoku nego i miru u svijetu.
