Više od 800 ljudi, u 18 zemalja, uhićeno je u globalnoj policijskoj operaciji, nakon što je provaljeno u aplikaciju koju su koristili kriminalci, te su pročitani milijuni enkriptiranih poruka.

U operaciji australske policije, Europola i FBI-a, uhićeni su osumnjičenici u Australiji, Aziji, Europi, Južnoj Americi te na Bliskom istoku, koji su bili uključeni u globalnu trgovinu narkoticima, kazali su dužnosnici.

Uhićeno je preko 800 osoba, za koje se sumnja da su pripadnici organiziranih kriminalnih skupina, dok je zaplijenjeno preko 148 milijuna dolara gotovine u racijama širom svijeta, kao i tone droge.

FBI je operaciju nazvao Trojanski štit, a riječ je o jednoj od najvećih infiltracija i preuzimanja specijalizirane enkriptirane mreže.
Australski premijer Scott Morrison rekao je da je Operacija Ironside, kako je zovu australske vlasti, "zadala težak udarac organiziranom kriminalu - ne samo u ovoj zemlji, već i onom koji će odjeknuti u mrežama organiziranog kriminala širom svijeta".

"Ovo je prekretnica u australskoj povijesti provedbe zakona", rekao je Morrison novinarima u Sydneyu.

Povjerenik australske savezne policije Reece Kershaw rekao je da su u policijskim racijama u 18 zemalja uhićene stotine osumnjičenih. Europol i FBI rekli su na društvenim mrežama da će održati konferencije za tisak kasnije u utorak.

Australija je priopćila da je uhitila 224 osobe, uključujući članove zabranjenih motociklističkih bandi, a Novi Zeland rekao je da je priveo 35 osoba.

U operaciji, koju su australska policija i FBI pripremali od 2018. godine, dužnosnici u Sjedinjenim Državama preuzeli su kontrolu nad aplikacijom za razmjenu poruka ANOM, kojom se koriste mreže organiziranog kriminala.

Nakon što je osoba koja pripada australskom podzemlju počela dijeliti prilagođene telefone koji sadrže aplikaciju svojim suradnicima kao sigurno sredstvo za komunikaciju, policija je mogla nadzirati njihove poruke. Bande su vjerovale da je sustav siguran jer telefoni nisu imali druge mogućnosti - nisu učitane funkcije glasa ili kamere - a aplikacija je šifrirana.

"Bili smo u zadnjim džepovima organiziranog kriminala", rekao je Kershaw na istom brifingu za medije. "Sve o čemu razgovaraju su droga, nasilje, međusobni napadi, nevini ljudi koji će biti ubijeni", istaknuo je.

Izvršavajući u Australiji najveći broj naloga za potragu u jednom danu, policija je u ponedjeljak zaplijenila 104 komada vatrenog oružja, kao i gotovo 34,9 milijuna američkih dolara u gotovini.

Podignuto je ukupno 525 optužbi, ali vlasti očekuju da će biti podignuto još tijekom sljedećih tjedana.

Europski dužnosnici kažu da je uhićeno 75 osoba u Švedskoj, dok ih je pritvoreno 60 u Njemačkoj. Ukupno je 49 ljudi uhićeno u Nizozemskoj.

Više od 800 ljudi, u 18 zemalja, uhićeno je u globalnoj policijskoj operaciji, nakon što je provaljeno u aplikaciju koju su koristili kriminalci, te su pročitani milijuni enkriptiranih poruka.

U operaciji australske policije, Europola i FBI-a, uhićeni su osumnjičenici u Australiji, Aziji, Europi, Južnoj Americi te na Bliskom istoku, koji su bili uključeni u globalnu trgovinu narkoticima, kazali su dužnosnici.

Uhićeno je preko 800 osoba, za koje se sumnja da su pripadnici organiziranih kriminalnih skupina, dok je zaplijenjeno preko 148 milijuna dolara gotovine u racijama širom svijeta, kao i tone droge.

FBI je operaciju nazvao Trojanski štit, a riječ je o jednoj od najvećih infiltracija i preuzimanja specijalizirane enkriptirane mreže.
Australski premijer Scott Morrison rekao je da je Operacija Ironside, kako je zovu australske vlasti, "zadala težak udarac organiziranom kriminalu - ne samo u ovoj zemlji, već i onom koji će odjeknuti u mrežama organiziranog kriminala širom svijeta".

"Ovo je prekretnica u australskoj povijesti provedbe zakona", rekao je Morrison novinarima u Sydneyu.

Povjerenik australske savezne policije Reece Kershaw rekao je da su u policijskim racijama u 18 zemalja uhićene stotine osumnjičenih. Europol i FBI rekli su na društvenim mrežama da će održati konferencije za tisak kasnije u utorak.

Australija je priopćila da je uhitila 224 osobe, uključujući članove zabranjenih motociklističkih bandi, a Novi Zeland rekao je da je priveo 35 osoba.

U operaciji, koju su australska policija i FBI pripremali od 2018. godine, dužnosnici u Sjedinjenim Državama preuzeli su kontrolu nad aplikacijom za razmjenu poruka ANOM, kojom se koriste mreže organiziranog kriminala.

Nakon što je osoba koja pripada australskom podzemlju počela dijeliti prilagođene telefone koji sadrže aplikaciju svojim suradnicima kao sigurno sredstvo za komunikaciju, policija je mogla nadzirati njihove poruke. Bande su vjerovale da je sustav siguran jer telefoni nisu imali druge mogućnosti - nisu učitane funkcije glasa ili kamere - a aplikacija je šifrirana.

"Bili smo u zadnjim džepovima organiziranog kriminala", rekao je Kershaw na istom brifingu za medije. "Sve o čemu razgovaraju su droga, nasilje, međusobni napadi, nevini ljudi koji će biti ubijeni", istaknuo je.

Izvršavajući u Australiji najveći broj naloga za potragu u jednom danu, policija je u ponedjeljak zaplijenila 104 komada vatrenog oružja, kao i gotovo 34,9 milijuna američkih dolara u gotovini.

Podignuto je ukupno 525 optužbi, ali vlasti očekuju da će biti podignuto još tijekom sljedećih tjedana.

Europski dužnosnici kažu da je uhićeno 75 osoba u Švedskoj, dok ih je pritvoreno 60 u Njemačkoj. Ukupno je 49 ljudi uhićeno u Nizozemskoj.

Više od 800 ljudi, u 18 zemalja, uhićeno je u globalnoj policijskoj operaciji, nakon što je provaljeno u aplikaciju koju su koristili kriminalci, te su pročitani milijuni enkriptiranih poruka.

U operaciji australske policije, Europola i FBI-a, uhićeni su osumnjičenici u Australiji, Aziji, Europi, Južnoj Americi te na Bliskom istoku, koji su bili uključeni u globalnu trgovinu narkoticima, kazali su dužnosnici.

Uhićeno je preko 800 osoba, za koje se sumnja da su pripadnici organiziranih kriminalnih skupina, dok je zaplijenjeno preko 148 milijuna dolara gotovine u racijama širom svijeta, kao i tone droge.

FBI je operaciju nazvao Trojanski štit, a riječ je o jednoj od najvećih infiltracija i preuzimanja specijalizirane enkriptirane mreže.
