Europski čelnici upozoravaju u ponedjeljak na turobnu predstojeću zimu u ozračju velikog porasta broja oboljelih od Covida-19, zbog čega su mnoge zemlje uvele nove mjere za borbu protiv drugog vala pandemije, javljaju agencije.
Sve je više zemalja u Europi i svijetu koje obaraju rekorde u broju zaraženih u jednom danu. Na vrhu ljestvice su i dalje Sjedinjene Američke Države s gotovo 60.000 novozaraženih u posljednja 24 sata. Ali, s obzirom na veličinu i broj stanovnika, još je mnogo gore u Francuskoj gdje je brojka prvi put premašila 50.000 novih slučajeva.
U svijetu se novim koronavirusom do sada zarazilo 42,9 milijuna ljudi, a umrlo ih je 1,151.929.
Vijest da je cjepivo koje razvijaju Sveučilište Oxford i farmaceutska tvrtka AstraZeneca izazvalo snažan imunosni odgovor i u starijoj i mlađoj populaciji daje nadu u trenutku kada se na sjevernoj hemisferi jesen polako približava zimi. No, britanski ministar zdravstva Matt Hancock upozorava da cjepivo još nije do kraja razvijeno te neće biti masovno dostupno sve do sljedeće godine.
Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) je nedavno priopćila da očekuje rast broja umrlih od covida-19 u Europi tijekom listopada i studenoga te da će ti mjeseci, što se tiče epidemije, biti "vrlo teški".
Broj zaraženih u Europi trenutno je u velikom porastu, a predvodi Francuska koja je u nedjelju imala rekordnih 52.010 novih slučajeva cocida-19.
Na europskom kontinentu od te je bolesti umrlo do sada više od 250.000 ljudi.
WHO je u nedjelju objavio da je dan ranije oboren novi rekord kad je riječ o broju zaraženih koronavirusom u svijetu, treći dan zaredom.
Po svjetskim statistikama WHO-a, u subotu je potvrđeno 465.319 zaraženih, u petak 449.720, a u četvrtak 437.247.
Vlade očajnički žele izbjeći 'zatvaranje'. Ta je mjera početkom godine zauzdala bolest, ali i nanijela veliku štetu gospodarstvima.
Rast broja novozaraženih, kojemu se ne vidi kraj, primorala je mnoge zemlje da ponovo posegnu za najoštrijim epidemiološkim mjerama.
"Pred nama su vrlo, vrlo teški mjeseci", izjavila je njemačka kancelarka Angela Merkel.
U Njemačkoj je u ponedjeljak evidentirano 8658 novozaraženih, ali je u subotu postignut rekord s 14.714 novozaraženih u 24 sata.
Iako se ta zemlja u odnosu na ostatak Europe još uvijek dobro nosi s pandemijom i ona bilježi nagli porast oboljelih te je indeks poslovne klime danas pao, održavajući zabrinutost zbog pošasti koja ne jenjava.
Neki političari, poput Karla Lauterbacha (SPD), zalažu se za "veoma kratak, vremenski ograničen djelomični lockdown" jer je sad posljednji trenutak da se nešto učini kako broj novozaraženih ne bi postao još veći.
Španjolska je još jučer proglasila izvanredno stanje kako bi se omogućila noćna zabrana kretanja i vlada najavljuje kako bi izvanredno stanje moglo potrajati do svibnja. Noćno kretanje je zabranjeno i u 54 departmana Francuske čime je obuhvaćeno oko dvije trećine stanovništva, oko 46 milijuna ljudi.
Ukupan broj slučajeva zaraze u Španjolskoj iznosi više od milijun i zemlja se upravo suočava s naizgled nekontroliranim porastom broja novozaraženih.
Italija, zemlja koja je u ožujku bila najteže pogođena koronakrizom, sada također uvodi ponovno stroge mjere.
Talijanske vlasti u nedjelju su donijele odredbu po kojoj se do 18 sati moraju zatvoriti svi kafići i restorani, a potpuno se zatvaraju teretane, kina i javni bazeni, u nastojanju da se pokuša suzbiti ponovno ubrzano širenje koronavirusa u zemlji u kojoj svakodnevna stopa zaraze ponovno doseže nove neslavne rekorde.
U subotu su vlasti izvijestile o novih rekordnih 19.644 slučaja zaraze u jednom danu, kao i o 151 smrtnom slučaju.
Zbog novih mjera izbili su i neredi na ulicama, a vlada je osobito na udaru oštrih kritika vlasnika restorana, što najbolje ilustrira pod kakvim je pritiscima vlada premijera Giuseppea Contea.
Novi koronavirus SARS-CoV-2 zasjenio je i predsjedničku kampanju u SAD-u, zemlji u kojoj je od covida-19 umrlo 225.000 ljudi.
Demokratski kandidat za predsjednika Joe Biden optužuje aktualnog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa da je debelo zakazao u borbi protiv pandemije.
Trump tvrdi da je napredovao u borbi protiv, kako običava reći, "kineskog virusa", a njegov potpredsjednik Mike Pence nastavlja kampanju unatoč tome što su mu bliski suradnici pozitivni na virus.
"Ni jedna država u svijetu nije se oporavila kao što smo se mi oporavili", rekao je u nedjelju Trump oduševljenim pristašama u New Hampshireu, od kojih mnogi nisu nosili zaštitnu masku.

Europski čelnici upozoravaju u ponedjeljak na turobnu predstojeću zimu u ozračju velikog porasta broja oboljelih od Covida-19, zbog čega su mnoge zemlje uvele nove mjere za borbu protiv drugog vala pandemije, javljaju agencije.
Sve je više zemalja u Europi i svijetu koje obaraju rekorde u broju zaraženih u jednom danu. Na vrhu ljestvice su i dalje Sjedinjene Američke Države s gotovo 60.000 novozaraženih u posljednja 24 sata. Ali, s obzirom na veličinu i broj stanovnika, još je mnogo gore u Francuskoj gdje je brojka prvi put premašila 50.000 novih slučajeva.
U svijetu se novim koronavirusom do sada zarazilo 42,9 milijuna ljudi, a umrlo ih je 1,151.929.
Vijest da je cjepivo koje razvijaju Sveučilište Oxford i farmaceutska tvrtka AstraZeneca izazvalo snažan imunosni odgovor i u starijoj i mlađoj populaciji daje nadu u trenutku kada se na sjevernoj hemisferi jesen polako približava zimi. No, britanski ministar zdravstva Matt Hancock upozorava da cjepivo još nije do kraja razvijeno te neće biti masovno dostupno sve do sljedeće godine.
Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) je nedavno priopćila da očekuje rast broja umrlih od covida-19 u Europi tijekom listopada i studenoga te da će ti mjeseci, što se tiče epidemije, biti "vrlo teški".
Broj zaraženih u Europi trenutno je u velikom porastu, a predvodi Francuska koja je u nedjelju imala rekordnih 52.010 novih slučajeva cocida-19.
Na europskom kontinentu od te je bolesti umrlo do sada više od 250.000 ljudi.
WHO je u nedjelju objavio da je dan ranije oboren novi rekord kad je riječ o broju zaraženih koronavirusom u svijetu, treći dan zaredom.
Po svjetskim statistikama WHO-a, u subotu je potvrđeno 465.319 zaraženih, u petak 449.720, a u četvrtak 437.247.
Vlade očajnički žele izbjeći 'zatvaranje'. Ta je mjera početkom godine zauzdala bolest, ali i nanijela veliku štetu gospodarstvima.
Rast broja novozaraženih, kojemu se ne vidi kraj, primorala je mnoge zemlje da ponovo posegnu za najoštrijim epidemiološkim mjerama.
"Pred nama su vrlo, vrlo teški mjeseci", izjavila je njemačka kancelarka Angela Merkel.
U Njemačkoj je u ponedjeljak evidentirano 8658 novozaraženih, ali je u subotu postignut rekord s 14.714 novozaraženih u 24 sata.
Iako se ta zemlja u odnosu na ostatak Europe još uvijek dobro nosi s pandemijom i ona bilježi nagli porast oboljelih te je indeks poslovne klime danas pao, održavajući zabrinutost zbog pošasti koja ne jenjava.
Neki političari, poput Karla Lauterbacha (SPD), zalažu se za "veoma kratak, vremenski ograničen djelomični lockdown" jer je sad posljednji trenutak da se nešto učini kako broj novozaraženih ne bi postao još veći.
Španjolska je još jučer proglasila izvanredno stanje kako bi se omogućila noćna zabrana kretanja i vlada najavljuje kako bi izvanredno stanje moglo potrajati do svibnja. Noćno kretanje je zabranjeno i u 54 departmana Francuske čime je obuhvaćeno oko dvije trećine stanovništva, oko 46 milijuna ljudi.
Ukupan broj slučajeva zaraze u Španjolskoj iznosi više od milijun i zemlja se upravo suočava s naizgled nekontroliranim porastom broja novozaraženih.
Italija, zemlja koja je u ožujku bila najteže pogođena koronakrizom, sada također uvodi ponovno stroge mjere.
Talijanske vlasti u nedjelju su donijele odredbu po kojoj se do 18 sati moraju zatvoriti svi kafići i restorani, a potpuno se zatvaraju teretane, kina i javni bazeni, u nastojanju da se pokuša suzbiti ponovno ubrzano širenje koronavirusa u zemlji u kojoj svakodnevna stopa zaraze ponovno doseže nove neslavne rekorde.
U subotu su vlasti izvijestile o novih rekordnih 19.644 slučaja zaraze u jednom danu, kao i o 151 smrtnom slučaju.
Zbog novih mjera izbili su i neredi na ulicama, a vlada je osobito na udaru oštrih kritika vlasnika restorana, što najbolje ilustrira pod kakvim je pritiscima vlada premijera Giuseppea Contea.
Novi koronavirus SARS-CoV-2 zasjenio je i predsjedničku kampanju u SAD-u, zemlji u kojoj je od covida-19 umrlo 225.000 ljudi.
Demokratski kandidat za predsjednika Joe Biden optužuje aktualnog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa da je debelo zakazao u borbi protiv pandemije.
Trump tvrdi da je napredovao u borbi protiv, kako običava reći, "kineskog virusa", a njegov potpredsjednik Mike Pence nastavlja kampanju unatoč tome što su mu bliski suradnici pozitivni na virus.
"Ni jedna država u svijetu nije se oporavila kao što smo se mi oporavili", rekao je u nedjelju Trump oduševljenim pristašama u New Hampshireu, od kojih mnogi nisu nosili zaštitnu masku.
