Američki zviždač Edward Snowden u ponedjeljak je objavio da su on i supruga zatražili rusko državljanstvo kako ne bi bili razdvojeni od svog budućeg sina "u eri pandemije i zatvorenih granica".

Snowdenova supruga Lindsay rodit će krajem prosinca, objavila je ruska novinska agencija RIA.

Snowden je pobjegao iz SAD-a i dobio je azil u Rusiji nakon što je 2013. otkrio tajne informacije o unutarnjem i međunarodnom nadzoru američke Nacionalne sigurnosne agencije u kojoj je radio.

Američke vlasti godinama traže izručenje 37-godišnjeg Snowdena, optuženog za špijunažu.

„Nakon godina odvojenosti od naših roditelja, moja supruga i ja ne želimo biti odvojeni i od našeg sina. Zato smo u ovo doba pandemije i zatvorenih granica zatražili dvojno američko-rusko državljanstvo“, napisao je Snowden na Twitteru.

„Lindsay i ja ćemo ostati Amerikanci i sina odgajati svim vrijednostima Amerike koju volimo – uključujući slobodu da govori što misli. Veselim se danu kad ću se moći vratiti u SAD i da cijela obitelj bude ujedinjena. Naša najveća želja je da se naš sin, gdjegod će živjeti, osjeća kao kod kuće“, dodao je zviždač.

Rusija je Snowdenu već odobrila trajni boravak, što je ključni korak prema dobivanju državljanstva, rekla je njegova odvjetnica prošli mjesec.

Američki predsjednik Donald Trump u kolovozu je rekao da razmatra pomilovanje Snowdena.

Američki zviždač Edward Snowden u ponedjeljak je objavio da su on i supruga zatražili rusko državljanstvo kako ne bi bili razdvojeni od svog budućeg sina "u eri pandemije i zatvorenih granica".

Snowdenova supruga Lindsay rodit će krajem prosinca, objavila je ruska novinska agencija RIA.

Snowden je pobjegao iz SAD-a i dobio je azil u Rusiji nakon što je 2013. otkrio tajne informacije o unutarnjem i međunarodnom nadzoru američke Nacionalne sigurnosne agencije u kojoj je radio.

Američke vlasti godinama traže izručenje 37-godišnjeg Snowdena, optuženog za špijunažu.

„Nakon godina odvojenosti od naših roditelja, moja supruga i ja ne želimo biti odvojeni i od našeg sina. Zato smo u ovo doba pandemije i zatvorenih granica zatražili dvojno američko-rusko državljanstvo“, napisao je Snowden na Twitteru.

„Lindsay i ja ćemo ostati Amerikanci i sina odgajati svim vrijednostima Amerike koju volimo – uključujući slobodu da govori što misli. Veselim se danu kad ću se moći vratiti u SAD i da cijela obitelj bude ujedinjena. Naša najveća želja je da se naš sin, gdjegod će živjeti, osjeća kao kod kuće“, dodao je zviždač.

Rusija je Snowdenu već odobrila trajni boravak, što je ključni korak prema dobivanju državljanstva, rekla je njegova odvjetnica prošli mjesec.

Američki predsjednik Donald Trump u kolovozu je rekao da razmatra pomilovanje Snowdena.

Američki zviždač Edward Snowden u ponedjeljak je objavio da su on i supruga zatražili rusko državljanstvo kako ne bi bili razdvojeni od svog budućeg sina "u eri pandemije i zatvorenih granica".

Snowdenova supruga Lindsay rodit će krajem prosinca, objavila je ruska novinska agencija RIA.

Snowden je pobjegao iz SAD-a i dobio je azil u Rusiji nakon što je 2013. otkrio tajne informacije o unutarnjem i međunarodnom nadzoru američke Nacionalne sigurnosne agencije u kojoj je radio.

Američke vlasti godinama traže izručenje 37-godišnjeg Snowdena, optuženog za špijunažu.

„Nakon godina odvojenosti od naših roditelja, moja supruga i ja ne želimo biti odvojeni i od našeg sina. Zato smo u ovo doba pandemije i zatvorenih granica zatražili dvojno američko-rusko državljanstvo“,...
