Odmah na početku rata Španolska je isporučila Ukrajini 200 tona vojne opreme, uključujući 30 kamiona, nekoliko teških transportnih kamiona i 10 malih vozila natovarenih vojnim materijalom, a sad su odlučili poslati jače oružje.

Kako piše madridski El Pais, Španjolska će ukrajinsku vojsku opskrbiti protuzračnim projektilima i borbenim tenkovima Leopard. Leopardi su preuzeti iz Njemačke 1995. godine, a za tenkove toga tipa su političari iz njemačke vladajuće stranke SPD dosad isticali da postoji neformalni dogovor između zemalja NATO-a da se takvo oružje ne isporučuje.

Uz tenkove, Španjolska će pružiti svu potrebnu obuku ukrajinskoj vojsci i to na području Latvije, gdje je španjolska vojska rasporedila 500 vojnika u sklopu NATO operacije ojačane prednje prisutnosti. Druga faza obuke po potrebi će se održati u Španjolskoj. List navodi i da španjolsko Ministarstvo obrane dovršava isporuku protuzračnih projektila Shorad Aspide, koje je njihova vojska zamijenila nešto naprednijim sustavima.

Nijemci koji su proizvođači i borbenih tenkova Leoparda i protuzračnih tenkova Geparda, odavno su najavili da će u Ukrajinu poslati Geparde, no to još uvijek nisu učinili. Gepard je u odnosu na Leoparda daleko inferiornije oružje i nema šanse u borbi protiv borbenog tenka zbog svojih topova relativno malog kalibra.

Ukrajinski veleposlanik u Njemačkoj Andrij Melnik od početka rata glasno od vlasti u Berlinu zahtijeva da šalju više pomoći njegovoj zemlji, pogotovo teško naoružanje te ih kritizira zbog oklijevanja. Na Twitteru se pozvao na najnoviju odluku Španjolca i poručio kako će ostati povjesno zapamćena njemačka sramota da im nisu htjeli izručiti ni vojnu starudiju dok ih Rusi neprestano tuku već tri i pol mjeseca.   

- Činjenica da nam je u ova 102 dana ruskog barbarskog napada Njemačka cinično uskratila čak i stare tenkove Leopard 1 i borbena vozila pješaštva Marten, ostat će upamćena u povijesti. Sramota! - kritizirao je Melnik.

Njemački parlament još je u travnju donio rezoluciju o isporuci teškog naoružanja Ukrajini, ali njemački kancelar Olaf Scholz još ih nije poslao. U početku su govorili da će Geparde poslati do konca lipnja jer im treba popravak, a sad se spominje da će 15 tenkova poslati tek krajem srpnja te još 15 do kraja kolovoza. Navodno imaju vrlo malo streljiva za te tenkove koji su povučeni prije 12 godina iz njemačke vojske. No, da ironija bude veća, Ukrajina Geparde nije niti tražila.

Ukrajinci su 24. ožujka podnijeli zahtjev za nabavu povučenih tenkova od Rheinmetalla, njemačkog proizvođača oružja, za što je potrebno odobrenje vlade. Rheinmetall je 14. travnja ponudio Ukrajini prodaju do 100 obnovljenih Mardera i 1,5 milijuna komada streljiva za 153 milijuna eura, a prva serija je prema pisanju uglednog portala Politico, mogla biti spremna u roku od samo nekoliko dana. Šest tjedana kasnije, dok su Rusi sve jače napredovali u ukrajinskoj regiji Donbas, Berlin je tek trebao dati zeleno svjetlo za prodaju. Međutim, umjesto toga, Scholz je prošli tjedan najavio sporazum o zamjeni oklopnih vozila s ​​Grčkom, prema kojem se tenkovi Marder šalju u Atenu, dok grčka vojska zauzvrat šalje Ukrajini svoja vrlo stara borbena vozila BMP-1 iz sovjetskog doba.

Uvriježeno je mišljenje u Berlinu da Scholz ne želi "provocirati" Putina, s kojim i dalje vodi redovite telefonske razgovore. Politico navodi i kako je Scholz nedavno obišao žarišta sukoba u Maliju i drugim dijelovima Afrike, ali ne želi zakoračiti u Ukrajinu.

Njemački lider odbacuje kritike da djeluje neodlučno, te da previše oklijeva.

Govoreći pred Bundestagom kazao je da će Njemačka u idućim tjednima, zajedno s Nizozemcima, u Ukrajinu poslati 12 haubica i modernu artiljeriju dosega do 40 kilometara. Njemačka najčešće isporučuje oružje pod svojevrsnim pritiskom, a tako je i u slučaju s ovim Panzerhaubitzama 2000 koje spominje Scholz. Nizozemska je, naime, odlučila Ukrajini poslati pet haubica, a budući je za njihovu učinkovito borbeno djelovanje potrebno najmanje 12 komada, pritisnuta je Njemačka da uskoči.

Prema Scholzovom izvješću Bundestagu, Nijemci su dosad isporučili ili će tek to učiniti - protutenkovske rakete, rakete za protuzračnu obranu, više od 15 milijuna komada streljiva, o 100.000 ručnih granata, više od 5.000 protutenkovskih mina, automatsko naoružanje te više desetaka teretnjaka punih vojnog materijala… Navedeno je i kako su zajedno s Dancima, isporučili 54 modernizirana oklopna vozila za transport trupa, a preko razmjene s Češkom 20 borbenih tenkova T-72 iz sovjetske proizvodnje. Scholzove brojke i razmjene oružja preko trećih zemalja, nisu impresionirale vojne analitičare, a pogotovo ne Ukrajince.

Odmah na početku rata Španolska je isporučila Ukrajini 200 tona vojne opreme, uključujući 30 kamiona, nekoliko teških transportnih kamiona i 10 malih vozila natovarenih vojnim materijalom, a sad su odlučili poslati jače oružje.

Kako piše madridski El Pais, Španjolska će ukrajinsku vojsku opskrbiti protuzračnim projektilima i borbenim tenkovima Leopard. Leopardi su preuzeti iz Njemačke 1995. godine, a za tenkove toga tipa su političari iz njemačke vladajuće stranke SPD dosad isticali da postoji neformalni dogovor između zemalja NATO-a da se takvo oružje ne isporučuje.

Uz tenkove, Španjolska će pružiti svu potrebnu obuku ukrajinskoj vojsci i to na području Latvije, gdje je španjolska vojska rasporedila 500 vojnika u sklopu NATO operacije ojačane prednje prisutnosti. Druga faza obuke po potrebi će se održati u Španjolskoj. List navodi i da španjolsko Ministarstvo obrane dovršava isporuku protuzračnih projektila Shorad Aspide, koje je njihova vojska zamijenila nešto naprednijim sustavima.

Nijemci koji su proizvođači i borbenih tenkova Leoparda i protuzračnih tenkova Geparda, odavno su najavili da će u Ukrajinu poslati Geparde, no to još uvijek nisu učinili. Gepard je u odnosu na Leoparda daleko inferiornije oružje i nema šanse u borbi protiv borbenog tenka zbog svojih topova relativno malog kalibra.

Ukrajinski veleposlanik u Njemačkoj Andrij Melnik od početka rata glasno od vlasti u Berlinu zahtijeva da šalju više pomoći njegovoj zemlji, pogotovo teško naoružanje te ih kritizira zbog oklijevanja. Na Twitteru se pozvao na najnoviju odluku Španjolca i poručio kako će ostati povjesno zapamćena njemačka sramota da im nisu htjeli izručiti ni vojnu starudiju dok ih Rusi neprestano tuku već tri i pol mjeseca.   

- Činjenica da nam je u ova 102 dana ruskog barbarskog napada Njemačka cinično uskratila čak i stare tenkove Leopard 1 i borbena vozila pješaštva Marten, ostat će upamćena u povijesti. Sramota! - kritizirao je Melnik.

Njemački parlament još je u travnju donio rezoluciju o isporuci teškog naoružanja Ukrajini, ali njemački kancelar Olaf Scholz još ih nije poslao. U početku su govorili da će Geparde poslati do konca lipnja jer im treba popravak, a sad se spominje da će 15 tenkova poslati tek krajem srpnja te još 15 do kraja kolovoza. Navodno imaju vrlo malo streljiva za te tenkove koji su povučeni prije 12 godina iz njemačke vojske. No, da ironija bude veća, Ukrajina Geparde nije niti tražila.

Ukrajinci su 24. ožujka podnijeli zahtjev za nabavu povučenih tenkova od Rheinmetalla, njemačkog proizvođača oružja, za što je potrebno odobrenje vlade. Rheinmetall je 14. travnja ponudio Ukrajini prodaju do 100 obnovljenih Mardera i 1,5 milijuna komada streljiva za 153 milijuna eura, a prva serija je prema pisanju uglednog portala Politico, mogla biti spremna u roku od samo nekoliko dana. Šest tjedana kasnije, dok su Rusi sve jače napredovali u ukrajinskoj regiji Donbas, Berlin je tek trebao dati zeleno svjetlo za prodaju. Međutim, umjesto toga, Scholz je prošli tjedan najavio sporazum o zamjeni oklopnih vozila s ​​Grčkom, prema kojem se tenkovi Marder šalju u Atenu, dok grčka vojska zauzvrat šalje Ukrajini svoja vrlo stara borbena vozila BMP-1 iz sovjetskog doba.

Uvriježeno je mišljenje u Berlinu da Scholz ne želi "provocirati" Putina, s kojim i dalje vodi redovite telefonske razgovore. Politico navodi i kako je Scholz nedavno obišao žarišta sukoba u Maliju i drugim dijelovima Afrike, ali ne želi zakoračiti u Ukrajinu.

Njemački lider odbacuje kritike da djeluje neodlučno, te da previše oklijeva.

Govoreći pred Bundestagom kazao je da će Njemačka u idućim tjednima, zajedno s Nizozemcima, u Ukrajinu poslati 12 haubica i modernu artiljeriju dosega do 40 kilometara. Njemačka najčešće isporučuje oružje pod svojevrsnim pritiskom, a tako je i u slučaju s ovim Panzerhaubitzama 2000 koje spominje Scholz. Nizozemska je, naime, odlučila Ukrajini poslati pet haubica, a budući je za njihovu učinkovito borbeno djelovanje potrebno najmanje 12 komada, pritisnuta je Njemačka da uskoči.

Prema Scholzovom izvješću Bundestagu, Nijemci su dosad isporučili ili će tek to učiniti - protutenkovske rakete, rakete za protuzračnu obranu, više od 15 milijuna komada streljiva, o 100.000 ručnih granata, više od 5.000 protutenkovskih mina, automatsko naoružanje te više desetaka teretnjaka punih vojnog materijala… Navedeno je i kako su zajedno s Dancima, isporučili 54 modernizirana oklopna vozila za transport trupa, a preko razmjene s Češkom 20 borbenih tenkova T-72 iz sovjetske proizvodnje. Scholzove brojke i razmjene oružja preko trećih zemalja, nisu impresionirale vojne analitičare, a pogotovo ne Ukrajince.
