Dok se američki predsjednik Donald Trump liječi od covida-19 u vojnoj bolnici nedaleko od Washingtona samo mjesec dana prije predsjedničkih izbora, njegov demokratski suparnik Joe Biden nastavlja predizbornu kampanju s fokusom na nacionalnu borbu protiv pandemije koronavirusa .

Bivši američki potpredsjednik Biden, koji je u petak, tri dana nakon debate s Trumpom, bio negativan na koronavirus, više je puta zaželio predsjedniku brz oporavak.

Ali i pokušava iskoristiti to što se Trump zarazio da bi naglasio ključnu poruku svoje kampanje, a to je da bi se on bolje borio protiv pandemije od njega.

Biden, koji je uglavnom izbjegavao izravno kritizirati Trumpa tijekom posjeta važnoj neodlučnoj saveznoj državi Michigan u petak, u subotu je u govoru pred pristašama zauzeo agresivniji stav, iako mu je uputio dobre želje.

„Malo sam u nezgodnoj situaciji, jer ne želim sada napadati predsjednika i prvu damu”, rekao je, dodajući kako se nada da će se oni brzo oporaviti.
No brzo je skrenuo na Trumpov pristup pandemiji, ocijenivši da je „moralno neprihvatljiv” te kritiziravši njegov komentar ovog ljeta da je broj umrlih „takav kakav je”.

Zamjenica voditelja Bidenove kampanje Kate Bedingfield kazala je u nedjelju da će Bidenova poruka u idućih mjesec dana biti i dalje da on ima „sigurnu ruku koju zemlja treba da prebrodi ovu krizu”.

„Riječ je o izboru između dvije vrste liderstva”, kazala je za ABC, ističući da Biden od početka pandemije vodi svojim primjerom.
Podsjetila je da demokrati u kampanji nose maske, poštuju fizičku distancu i ograničenja za broj sudionika na predizbornim skupovima. „Mislim da američki narod to traži”.

SAD je do sada zabilježio 7,4 milijuna zaraženih koronavirusom i više od 209.000 umrlih, više od bilo koje nacije.
Biden će u ponedjeljak nastaviti kampanju na Floridi, gdje će se voditi tijesna utrka za ključnih 29 elektorskih glasova.

Do sada je glasalo već više od 3,3 milijuna Amerikanaca jer mnogi glasaju prije ili putem pošte kako bi izbjegli moguću zarazu na biralištima 3. studenoga.

Ispitivanje Ipsosa za Reuters provedeno 2. i 3. listopada, nakon što je potvrđeno da je Trump zaražen, pokazalo je da Biden vodi 10 postotnih bodova na nacionalnoj razini te da gotovo dvije trećine Amerikanaca misli da se Trump vjerojatno ne bi zarazio da je ozbiljnije shvatio virus.

Biden je kazao novinarima da će se u nedjelju ponovno testirati na koronavirus. 
Njegova kampanja povukla je televizijske i internetske oglase u kojima napadaju Trumpa, objasnivši da žele biti „pristojni”.
Viši savjetnik u Trumpovoj kampanji Jason Miller ponovno je, međutim, u nedjelju kritizirao Bidenov oprez u vezi koronavirusa te ustvrdio da Biden koristi maske kao „rekvizit”.

„Ne možemo svi jednostavno ostati u podrumima do kraja života”, rekao je u emisiji "This Week”, odbacivši kritike što Trump nije bio oprezniji. „Moramo izići van i živjeti svoje živote i suočiti se s time”.

Još se ne zna kada će Trump osobno nastaviti kampanju, ako uopće, i hoće li moći sudjelovati na drugoj predsjedničkoj debati 15. listopada, premda njegovi liječnici tvrde da mu se stanje popravlja i da bi se možda već u ponedjeljak mogao vratiti u Bijelu kuću i ondje nastaviti liječenje.

Kampanju će u međuvremenu nastaviti njegovi najbliži visoki suradnici, uključujući potpredsjednika Mikea Pencea i sinove Donalda i Erica.
Pence, koji je u petak bio negativan na koronavirus, u srijedu će imati debatu s Bidenovom potpredsjedničkom kandidatkinjom Kamalom Harris.

Dok se američki predsjednik Donald Trump liječi od covida-19 u vojnoj bolnici nedaleko od Washingtona samo mjesec dana prije predsjedničkih izbora, njegov demokratski suparnik Joe Biden nastavlja predizbornu kampanju s fokusom na nacionalnu borbu protiv pandemije koronavirusa .

Bivši američki potpredsjednik Biden, koji je u petak, tri dana nakon debate s Trumpom, bio negativan na koronavirus, više je puta zaželio predsjedniku brz oporavak.

Ali i pokušava iskoristiti to što se Trump zarazio da bi naglasio ključnu poruku svoje kampanje, a to je da bi se on bolje borio protiv pandemije od njega.

Biden, koji je uglavnom izbjegavao izravno kritizirati Trumpa tijekom posjeta važnoj neodlučnoj saveznoj državi Michigan u petak, u subotu je u govoru pred pristašama zauzeo agresivniji stav, iako mu je uputio dobre želje.

„Malo sam u nezgodnoj situaciji, jer ne želim sada napadati predsjednika i prvu damu”, rekao je, dodajući kako se nada da će se oni brzo oporaviti.
No brzo je skrenuo na Trumpov pristup pandemiji, ocijenivši da je „moralno neprihvatljiv” te kritiziravši njegov komentar ovog ljeta da je broj umrlih „takav kakav je”.

Zamjenica voditelja Bidenove kampanje Kate Bedingfield kazala je u nedjelju da će Bidenova poruka u idućih mjesec dana biti i dalje da on ima „sigurnu ruku koju zemlja treba da prebrodi ovu krizu”.

„Riječ je o izboru između dvije vrste liderstva”, kazala je za ABC, ističući da Biden od početka pandemije vodi svojim primjerom.
Podsjetila je da demokrati u kampanji nose maske, poštuju fizičku distancu i ograničenja za broj sudionika na predizbornim skupovima. „Mislim da američki narod to traži”.

SAD je do sada zabilježio 7,4 milijuna zaraženih koronavirusom i više od 209.000 umrlih, više od bilo koje nacije.
Biden će u ponedjeljak nastaviti kampanju na Floridi, gdje će se voditi tijesna utrka za ključnih 29 elektorskih glasova.

Do sada je glasalo već više od 3,3 milijuna Amerikanaca jer mnogi glasaju prije ili putem pošte kako bi izbjegli moguću zarazu na biralištima 3. studenoga.

Ispitivanje Ipsosa za Reuters provedeno 2. i 3. listopada, nakon što je potvrđeno da je Trump zaražen, pokazalo je da Biden vodi 10 postotnih bodova na nacionalnoj razini te da gotovo dvije trećine Amerikanaca misli da se Trump vjerojatno ne bi zarazio da je ozbiljnije shvatio virus.

Njegova kampanja povukla je televizijske i internetske oglase u kojima napadaju Trumpa, objasnivši da žele biti „pristojni”.
Viši savjetnik u Trumpovoj kampanji Jason Miller ponovno je, međutim, u nedjelju kritizirao Bidenov oprez u vezi koronavirusa te ustvrdio da Biden koristi maske kao „rekvizit”.

„Ne možemo svi jednostavno ostati u podrumima do kraja života”, rekao je u emisiji "This Week”, odbacivši kritike što Trump nije bio oprezniji. „Moramo izići van i živjeti svoje živote i suočiti se s time”.

Još se ne zna kada će Trump osobno nastaviti kampanju, ako uopće, i hoće li moći sudjelovati na drugoj predsjedničkoj debati 15. listopada, premda njegovi liječnici tvrde da mu se stanje popravlja i da bi se možda već u ponedjeljak mogao vratiti u Bijelu kuću i ondje nastaviti liječenje.

Kampanju će u međuvremenu nastaviti njegovi najbliži visoki suradnici, uključujući potpredsjednika Mikea Pencea i sinove Donalda i Erica.
Pence, koji je u petak bio negativan na koronavirus, u srijedu će imati debatu s Bidenovom potpredsjedničkom kandidatkinjom Kamalom Harris.

Dok se američki predsjednik Donald Trump liječi od covida-19 u vojnoj bolnici nedaleko od Washingtona samo mjesec dana prije predsjedničkih izbora, njegov demokratski suparnik Joe Biden nastavlja predizbornu kampanju s fokusom na nacionalnu borbu protiv pandemije koronavirusa .

Bivši američki potpredsjednik Biden, koji je u petak, tri dana nakon debate s Trumpom, bio negativan na koronavirus, više je puta zaželio predsjedniku brz oporavak.

Ali i pokušava iskoristiti to što se Trump zarazio da bi naglasio ključnu poruku svoje kampanje, a to je da bi se on bolje borio protiv pandemije od njega.

Biden, koji je uglavnom izbjegavao izravno kritizirati Trumpa tijekom posjeta važnoj neodlučnoj saveznoj državi Michigan u petak, u subotu je u govoru pred pristašama zauzeo...
