Bivši danski premijer Lars Lokke Rasumssen jedan je od nekoliko danskih političara koji su u petak izrazili skepsu prema navodnom interesu američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa za kupnju Grenlanda.

"To je sigurno prvotravanjska šala", napisao je Rasmussen na Twitteru.

Aaja Chemnitz Larsen, jedna od dvoje grenlandskih zastupnika u Danskom parlamentu, također je odbacila ideju.

"Ne, hvala Trumpovoj kupnji Grenlada! Upravo suprotno, bolje i ravnopravnije partnerstvo s Danskom trebao bi biti put prema jačem i dugoročno neovisnijem Grenlandu", napisala je Larsen na Twitteru.

Martin Lidegaard, zastupnik Socijalno liberalne stranke, koja podržava manjinsku vladu, i bivši ministar vanjskih poslova, kazao je kako se nada da je Trumpov interes šala.

"Trump da kupi Grenland? Nadam se da je to šala, ali svakako užasna ideja, uz rizik militarizacije Grenlanda i manju neovisnost za grenlandski narod, a također i veliki gubitak za Dansku", napisao je Lidegaard na Twitteru.

Mediji su u četvrtak objavili da je Trump privatno razgovarao sa suradnicima i savjetnicima o ideji da SAD kupi otok Grenland kako bi se proširio američki teritorij. Zamisao o kupnji velikim dijelom zaleđenog otoka, koji je autonomno područje Danske te se nalazi između sjevernog Atlantika i Arktičkog oceana, neki su savjetnici shvatili kao šalu, ali su je drugi ozbiljnije uzeli u obzir, rekli su izvori.

Američki predsjednik Harry Truman ponudio je 1946. 100 milijuna dolara kako bi kupio Grenland.

Trump, koji je na radnom odmoru u svom golf klubu u Bedminsteru (New Jersey) posjetit će Dansku po prvi put početkom rujna.
Za sada ne postoje naznake da će kupnja Grenlanda biti dio razgovora s danskom stranom.

Bivši danski premijer Lars Lokke Rasumssen jedan je od nekoliko danskih političara koji su u petak izrazili skepsu prema navodnom interesu američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa za kupnju Grenlanda.

"To je sigurno prvotravanjska šala", napisao je Rasmussen na Twitteru.

Aaja Chemnitz Larsen, jedna od dvoje grenlandskih zastupnika u Danskom parlamentu, također je odbacila ideju.

"Ne, hvala Trumpovoj kupnji Grenlada! Upravo suprotno, bolje i ravnopravnije partnerstvo s Danskom trebao bi biti put prema jačem i dugoročno neovisnijem Grenlandu", napisala je Larsen na Twitteru.

Martin Lidegaard, zastupnik Socijalno liberalne stranke, koja podržava manjinsku vladu, i bivši ministar vanjskih poslova, kazao je kako se nada da je Trumpov interes šala.

"Trump da kupi Grenland? Nadam se da je to šala, ali svakako užasna ideja, uz rizik militarizacije Grenlanda i manju neovisnost za grenlandski narod, a također i veliki gubitak za Dansku", napisao je Lidegaard na Twitteru.

Mediji su u četvrtak objavili da je Trump privatno razgovarao sa suradnicima i savjetnicima o ideji da SAD kupi otok Grenland kako bi se proširio američki teritorij. Zamisao o kupnji velikim dijelom zaleđenog otoka, koji je autonomno područje Danske te se nalazi između sjevernog Atlantika i Arktičkog oceana, neki su savjetnici shvatili kao šalu, ali su je drugi ozbiljnije uzeli u obzir, rekli su izvori.

Američki predsjednik Harry Truman ponudio je 1946. 100 milijuna dolara kako bi kupio Grenland.

Trump, koji je na radnom odmoru u svom golf klubu u Bedminsteru (New Jersey) posjetit će Dansku po prvi put početkom rujna.
Za sada ne postoje naznake da će kupnja Grenlanda biti dio razgovora s danskom stranom.

Zračna baza Thule na Grenlandu je najsjeverniji američki vojni objekt.
