Afrička unija organizirat će konferenciju o nacionalnom pomirenju u Libiji, izjavio je u nedjelju čelnik AU-a Mousa Faki Mahamat, istaknuvši da sudionici pripremnih razgovora traže odlazak stranih vojnih plaćenika. 

"Sastali smo se s više aktera i radimo s njima na datumu i lokaciji konferencije", izjavio je Faki za afp na konferenciji za novinare nakon dvodnevnog samita AU.

Skupom će predsjedati povjerenik Afričke unije za Libiju, predsjednik Republike Kongo Denis Sassou Nguesso, dodao je Faki. 

Pripremni sastanak održan je u glavnom gradu Tripoliju prije nekoliko tjedana, izvijestio je čelnik AU-a.

"Zatražen je odlazak stranih vojnih plaćenika", dodao je čelnik Afričke unije. "(O Libiji) moraju razgovarati Libijci, mislim da je to uvjet za izbore u stabilnoj zemlji", dodao je.

Od svrgavanja Moamera Gadafija 2011. godine u pobuni koju je podupro NATO Libiju razdiru nasilje i oružani sukobi.

Borba za vlast iznjedrila je niz neregularnih naoružanih skupina i potaknula intervenciju arapskih i zapadnih država, Turske i Rusije.

Uprava generala Khalife Haftara na istoku osporava legitimitet vlade premijera Abdulhamida Dbeibaha koju priznaju Ujedinjeni narodi, tvrdeći da joj je mandat istekao u ožujku prošle godine.

Predsjednički i parlamentarni izbori trebali su biti održani u prosincu 2021., na kraju mirovnog procesa koji su nadzirali Ujedinjeni narodi, ali su odgođeni zbog žestokih sporova oko kontroverznih kandidata i pravila o sudjelovanju.

Misija UN-a u Libiji objavila je ovog mjeseca da su visoki dužnosnici dvije uprave prihvatili koordinacijski mehanizam koji bi trebao regulirati odlazak stranih vojnih plaćenika.

To je "važan korak prema održivoj stabilnosti i miru u Libiji", istaknuli su članovi misije nakon sastanka u Kairu na kojem su sudjelovali i dužnosnici Sudana i Nigera.

No, razgovori koje je vodio izaslanik UN-a ABdoulaye Bathily nisu iznjedrili konkretne rokove ni mjere odlaska stranih boraca.

Prema procjenama UN-a iz druge polovine 2021., u Libiji je u tom trenutku u sastavu regularnih i neregularnih vojnih postrojbi bilo angažirano više od 20 tisuća stranaca.

Glavni tajnik UN-a Antonio Guterres ponovo je u petak zatražio odlazak svih stranih vojnih plaćenika, rekavši da su izbori jedini "vjerodostojan put prema legitimnom i zajedničkom sustavu upravljanja".

"Hitno je potrebna politička volja da se razbije dugotrajna politička pat-pozicija i da se postigne napredak na više područja", izjavio je Guterres u Adis Abebi.

U neuspjelim pokušajima osvajanja Tripolija od travnja 2019. do lipnja 2022. Haftar je koristio borce iz Čada i Sudana, a angažirao je i pripadnike ruskog Wagnera.

Na području pod kontrolom Dbeibahove vlade stacionirani su pak turski vojnici.

Zajednička vojna komisija "5+5", sastavljena od predstavnika istočne i zapadne Libije, trebala bi jamčiti odlazak stranih boraca u sklopu primirja potpisanog u listopadu 2020.

Afrička unija organizirat će konferenciju o nacionalnom pomirenju u Libiji, izjavio je u nedjelju čelnik AU-a Mousa Faki Mahamat, istaknuvši da sudionici pripremnih razgovora traže odlazak stranih vojnih plaćenika. 

"Sastali smo se s više aktera i radimo s njima na datumu i lokaciji konferencije", izjavio je Faki za afp na konferenciji za novinare nakon dvodnevnog samita AU.

Skupom će predsjedati povjerenik Afričke unije za Libiju, predsjednik Republike Kongo Denis Sassou Nguesso, dodao je Faki. 

Pripremni sastanak održan je u glavnom gradu Tripoliju prije nekoliko tjedana, izvijestio je čelnik AU-a.

"Zatražen je odlazak stranih vojnih plaćenika", dodao je čelnik Afričke unije. "(O Libiji) moraju razgovarati Libijci, mislim da je to uvjet za izbore u stabilnoj zemlji", dodao je.

Od svrgavanja Moamera Gadafija 2011. godine u pobuni koju je podupro NATO Libiju razdiru nasilje i oružani sukobi.

Borba za vlast iznjedrila je niz neregularnih naoružanih skupina i potaknula intervenciju arapskih i zapadnih država, Turske i Rusije.

Uprava generala Khalife Haftara na istoku osporava legitimitet vlade premijera Abdulhamida Dbeibaha koju priznaju Ujedinjeni narodi, tvrdeći da joj je mandat istekao u ožujku prošle godine.

Predsjednički i parlamentarni izbori trebali su biti održani u prosincu 2021., na kraju mirovnog procesa koji su nadzirali Ujedinjeni narodi, ali su odgođeni zbog žestokih sporova oko kontroverznih kandidata i pravila o sudjelovanju.

Misija UN-a u Libiji objavila je ovog mjeseca da su visoki dužnosnici dvije uprave prihvatili koordinacijski mehanizam koji bi trebao regulirati odlazak stranih vojnih plaćenika.

To je "važan korak prema održivoj stabilnosti i miru u Libiji", istaknuli su članovi misije nakon sastanka u Kairu na kojem su sudjelovali i dužnosnici Sudana i Nigera.

No, razgovori koje je vodio izaslanik UN-a ABdoulaye Bathily nisu iznjedrili konkretne rokove ni mjere odlaska stranih boraca.

Prema procjenama UN-a iz druge polovine 2021., u Libiji je u tom trenutku u sastavu regularnih i neregularnih vojnih postrojbi bilo angažirano više od 20 tisuća stranaca.

Glavni tajnik UN-a Antonio Guterres ponovo je u petak zatražio odlazak svih stranih vojnih plaćenika, rekavši da su izbori jedini "vjerodostojan put prema legitimnom i zajedničkom sustavu upravljanja".

"Hitno je potrebna politička volja da se razbije dugotrajna politička pat-pozicija i da se postigne napredak na više područja", izjavio je Guterres u Adis Abebi.

U neuspjelim pokušajima osvajanja Tripolija od travnja 2019. do lipnja 2022. Haftar je koristio borce iz Čada i Sudana, a angažirao je i pripadnike ruskog Wagnera.

Na području pod kontrolom Dbeibahove vlade stacionirani su pak turski vojnici.

Zajednička vojna komisija "5+5", sastavljena od predstavnika istočne i zapadne Libije, trebala bi jamčiti odlazak stranih boraca u sklopu primirja potpisanog u listopadu 2020.

Afrička unija traži odlazak stranih vojnih plaćenika sa svog kontinenta: Ima tu i ‘wagnerovaca‘

Afrička unija organizirat će konferenciju o nacionalnom pomirenju u Libiji, izjavio je u nedjelju čelnik AU-a Mousa Faki Mahamat, istaknuvši da sudionici pripremnih razgovora traže odlazak stranih vojnih plaćenika. 

"Sastali smo se s više aktera i radimo s njima na datumu i lokaciji konferencije", izjavio je Faki za afp na konferenciji za novinare nakon dvodnevnog samita AU.

Skupom će predsjedati povjerenik Afričke unije za Libiju, predsjednik Republike Kongo Denis Sassou Nguesso, dodao je Faki. 

Pripremni sastanak održan je u glavnom gradu Tripoliju prije nekoliko tjedana, izvijestio je čelnik AU-a.

"Zatražen je odlazak stranih vojnih plaćenika", dodao je čelnik Afričke unije. "(O Libiji) moraju razgovarati Libijci, mislim da je to uvjet za izbore u stabilnoj zemlji",...
