Vodeća slovenska epidemiologinja Bojana Beović izjavila je u subotu da se boji prevelikog opuštanja ljudi nakon što je vlada opozvala epidemiju Covida-19, što je ilustrirala i smanjenom pozornošću nekih svojih kolega liječnika.

Ona je istaknula da je virus i dalje prisutan, ali je mogućnost njegova širenja u ljetnom razdoblju smanjena.

"Danas sam dva puta dobila ponudu da se rukujemo i to od svojih kolega koji bi morali biti svjesni da se se to više ne radi", kazala je Bojana Beović u razgovoru za Slovensku tiskovnu agenciju STA, upozorivši da se i dalje preporučuju socijalna distancija i higijena ruku, što znači da nema klasičnog uobičajenog rukovanja stiskom dlanova.

"Istina, trenutno je mogućnost da dobijemo virus jedan od drugoga vrlo mala, no čim virusa opet bude više i sam stisak ruke može biti problematičan", kazala je Beović koja vodi ekspertnu zdravstvenu skupinu vlade za koronakrizu. Dodala je da ima loš osjećaj da ljudi sada misle da je sve prošlo iako koronavirus još cirkulira, uz vjerojatnost da ubuduće dođe do novih žarišta, drugog vala epidemije ili toga da Covid-19 poprimi oblik sezonske bolesti.

Slovenija u zadnja dva tjedna na dnevnoj bazi ima od nula do jedan novi slučaj zaraze koronavirusom i samo 18 "aktivnih" nositelja zaraze, ukupno je od početka epidemije zaraženo manje od 1500 stanovnika.

No, iako je najavljen kraj epidemije, što je Slovenija učinila prva u Europi, to ne znači da je virus nestao, još je među nama, upozorila je Beović.

Dodala je da je virus još prisutan iako je mogućnost širenja u ljetnim mjesecima, kad je manje ljudi i aktivnosti u zatvorenim prostorima, smanjena, ali da može doći do novih valova epidemije ili sezonskog ponavljanja zaraze, kakva je karakteristična za respiratorne viruse.

Po njenim riječima nije isključena niti mogućnost novog velikog vala ili mutacija virusa koji može ojačati i postati opasniji ili pak oslabljeti, kako je to slučaj s drugim mikroorganizmima.

Iako je to za sada u sferi špekulacije, zdravstvene se ustanove trebaju osposobiti za takvu mogućnost.

Tijekom ljetnih mjeseci bit će potrebna intenzivna mikrobiološka dijagnostika i testiranje svakog sumnjivog slučaja na koronavirus, čak i u slučaju simptoma koji nisu karakteristični za Covid-19, npr. kod djece s proljevom, čime se može spriječiti nova žarišta i odgoditi dolazak drugog vala epidemije, naglasila je Beović.

Vodeća slovenska epidemiologinja Bojana Beović izjavila je u subotu da se boji prevelikog opuštanja ljudi nakon što je vlada opozvala epidemiju Covida-19, što je ilustrirala i smanjenom pozornošću nekih svojih kolega liječnika.

Ona je istaknula da je virus i dalje prisutan, ali je mogućnost njegova širenja u ljetnom razdoblju smanjena.

"Danas sam dva puta dobila ponudu da se rukujemo i to od svojih kolega koji bi morali biti svjesni da se se to više ne radi", kazala je Bojana Beović u razgovoru za Slovensku tiskovnu agenciju STA, upozorivši da se i dalje preporučuju socijalna distancija i higijena ruku, što znači da nema klasičnog uobičajenog rukovanja stiskom dlanova.

"Istina, trenutno je mogućnost da dobijemo virus jedan od drugoga vrlo mala, no čim virusa opet bude više i sam stisak ruke može biti problematičan", kazala je Beović koja vodi ekspertnu zdravstvenu skupinu vlade za koronakrizu. Dodala je da ima loš osjećaj da ljudi sada misle da je sve prošlo iako koronavirus još cirkulira, uz vjerojatnost da ubuduće dođe do novih žarišta, drugog vala epidemije ili toga da Covid-19 poprimi oblik sezonske bolesti.

Slovenija u zadnja dva tjedna na dnevnoj bazi ima od nula do jedan novi slučaj zaraze koronavirusom i samo 18 "aktivnih" nositelja zaraze, ukupno je od početka epidemije zaraženo manje od 1500 stanovnika.

No, iako je najavljen kraj epidemije, što je Slovenija učinila prva u Europi, to ne znači da je virus nestao, još je među nama, upozorila je Beović.

Dodala je da je virus još prisutan iako je mogućnost širenja u ljetnim mjesecima, kad je manje ljudi i aktivnosti u zatvorenim prostorima, smanjena, ali da može doći do novih valova epidemije ili sezonskog ponavljanja zaraze, kakva je karakteristična za respiratorne viruse.

Po njenim riječima nije isključena niti mogućnost novog velikog vala ili mutacija virusa koji može ojačati i postati opasniji ili pak oslabljeti, kako je to slučaj s drugim mikroorganizmima.

Iako je to za sada u sferi špekulacije, zdravstvene se ustanove trebaju osposobiti za takvu mogućnost.

Tijekom ljetnih mjeseci bit će potrebna intenzivna mikrobiološka dijagnostika i testiranje svakog sumnjivog slučaja na koronavirus, čak i u slučaju simptoma koji nisu karakteristični za Covid-19, npr. kod djece s proljevom, čime se može spriječiti nova žarišta i odgoditi dolazak drugog vala epidemije, naglasila je Beović.

Vodeća slovenska epidemiologinja Bojana Beović izjavila je u subotu da se boji prevelikog opuštanja ljudi nakon što je vlada opozvala epidemiju Covida-19, što je ilustrirala i smanjenom pozornošću nekih svojih kolega liječnika.

Ona je istaknula da je virus i dalje prisutan, ali je mogućnost njegova širenja u ljetnom razdoblju smanjena.

"Danas sam dva puta dobila ponudu da se rukujemo i to od svojih kolega koji bi morali biti svjesni da se se to više ne radi", kazala je Bojana Beović u razgovoru za Slovensku tiskovnu agenciju STA, upozorivši da se i dalje preporučuju socijalna distancija i higijena ruku, što znači da nema klasičnog uobičajenog rukovanja stiskom dlanova.
