Sjedinjene Američke Države izrazile su "zabrinutost zbog zaoštravanja retorike" u vezi s ustoličenjem mitropolita Srpske pravoslavne crkve Joanikija na Cetinju i pozvale sve u Crnoj Gori da rade na smirivanju tenzija.

"Ohrabrujemo crnogorske vlasti i Mitropoliju crnogorsko-primorsku Srpske pravoslavne crkve da blisko surađuju u pitanju lokacije ustoličenja novoizabranog mitropolita Joanikija, a da sigurnost građana bude iznad svega", naveo je neimenovani glasnogovornik State Departmenta u odgovoru na upit Glasa Amerike je li SAD zabrinut zbog stabilnosti u Crnoj Gori u svjetlu porasta etničkih tenzija uoči planiranog ustoličenja Joanikija na Cetinju i što bi crnogorska vlada trebala uraditi da spriječi daljnju eskalaciju situacije, piše Radio Slobodna Evropa.

Kako je najavljeno iz SPC, ustoličenje Joanikija trebalo da bude obavljeno 5. rujna na Cetinju. Tom činu bi trebao biti nazočan patrijarh Porfirije i drugi najviši svećenici SPC-a. Ceremoniji se protive Općina Cetinje, crnogorske nacionalne organizacije i opozicijske stranke predvođene Demokratskom partijom socijalista Mila Đukanovića. Protest upozorenja, održan je u nedjelju 22. kolovoza, a s njega je poručeno da se ceremonija ustoličenja Joanikija na Cetinju doživljava kao ‘okupatorski čin’.

State Department ocjenjuje i da je Crna Gora "dugo prepoznata kao raznolika i tolerantna zemlja" i da bi svi građani trebali uraditi svoj dio da ispoštuju tu ponosnu tradiciju.

"Pozivamo sve, građane, političke i vjerske lidere, da rade na smirivanju tenzija", poručio je glasnogovornik State Departmenta.

"Sjedinjene Američke Države podržavaju vjerske slobode, uključujući i pravo pojedinaca da slobodnu prakticiraju svoju vjeru. Istovremeno, također podržavaju slobodu izražavanja, uključujući i pravo na mirno okupljanje", zaključuje se u odgovoru na upit Glasa Amerike.

Najavljeno je da će Skupština općine Cetinje 27. kolovoza održati izvanrednu sjednicu lokalnog parlamenta čija će jedina tema biti apel SPC-u da odustane od ceremonije ustoličenja Joanikija na Cetinju, odnosno da se taj događaj obavi na drugom mjestu.

Do formalnog ustoličenja Joanikija dolazi nakon što je on izabran za novog mitropolita crnogorsko primorskog SPC -a krajem svibnja ove godine na Saboru SPC-a u Beogradu, piše Radio Slobodna Evropa.

Sjedinjene Američke Države izrazile su "zabrinutost zbog zaoštravanja retorike" u vezi s ustoličenjem mitropolita Srpske pravoslavne crkve Joanikija na Cetinju i pozvale sve u Crnoj Gori da rade na smirivanju tenzija.

"Ohrabrujemo crnogorske vlasti i Mitropoliju crnogorsko-primorsku Srpske pravoslavne crkve da blisko surađuju u pitanju lokacije ustoličenja novoizabranog mitropolita Joanikija, a da sigurnost građana bude iznad svega", naveo je neimenovani glasnogovornik State Departmenta u odgovoru na upit Glasa Amerike je li SAD zabrinut zbog stabilnosti u Crnoj Gori u svjetlu porasta etničkih tenzija uoči planiranog ustoličenja Joanikija na Cetinju i što bi crnogorska vlada trebala uraditi da spriječi daljnju eskalaciju situacije, piše Radio Slobodna Evropa.

Kako je najavljeno iz SPC, ustoličenje Joanikija trebalo da bude obavljeno 5. rujna na Cetinju. Tom činu bi trebao biti nazočan patrijarh Porfirije i drugi najviši svećenici SPC-a. Ceremoniji se protive Općina Cetinje, crnogorske nacionalne organizacije i opozicijske stranke predvođene Demokratskom partijom socijalista Mila Đukanovića. Protest upozorenja, održan je u nedjelju 22. kolovoza, a s njega je poručeno da se ceremonija ustoličenja Joanikija na Cetinju doživljava kao ‘okupatorski čin’.

State Department ocjenjuje i da je Crna Gora "dugo prepoznata kao raznolika i tolerantna zemlja" i da bi svi građani trebali uraditi svoj dio da ispoštuju tu ponosnu tradiciju.

"Pozivamo sve, građane, političke i vjerske lidere, da rade na smirivanju tenzija", poručio je glasnogovornik State Departmenta.

"Sjedinjene Američke Države podržavaju vjerske slobode, uključujući i pravo pojedinaca da slobodnu prakticiraju svoju vjeru. Istovremeno, također podržavaju slobodu izražavanja, uključujući i pravo na mirno okupljanje", zaključuje se u odgovoru na upit Glasa Amerike.

Najavljeno je da će Skupština općine Cetinje 27. kolovoza održati izvanrednu sjednicu lokalnog parlamenta čija će jedina tema biti apel SPC-u da odustane od ceremonije ustoličenja Joanikija na Cetinju, odnosno da se taj događaj obavi na drugom mjestu.

Do formalnog ustoličenja Joanikija dolazi nakon što je on izabran za novog mitropolita crnogorsko primorskog SPC -a krajem svibnja ove godine na Saboru SPC-a u Beogradu, piše Radio Slobodna Evropa.

Sjedinjene Američke Države izrazile su "zabrinutost zbog zaoštravanja retorike" u vezi s ustoličenjem mitropolita Srpske pravoslavne crkve Joanikija na Cetinju i pozvale sve u Crnoj Gori da rade na smirivanju tenzija.

"Ohrabrujemo crnogorske vlasti i Mitropoliju crnogorsko-primorsku Srpske pravoslavne crkve da blisko surađuju u pitanju lokacije ustoličenja novoizabranog mitropolita Joanikija, a da sigurnost građana bude iznad svega", naveo je neimenovani glasnogovornik State Departmenta u odgovoru na upit Glasa Amerike je li SAD zabrinut zbog stabilnosti u Crnoj Gori u svjetlu porasta etničkih tenzija uoči planiranog ustoličenja Joanikija na Cetinju i što bi crnogorska vlada trebala uraditi da spriječi daljnju eskalaciju situacije, piše Radio Slobodna Evropa.
