Hrvatska unatoč jakom lobiranju još nema dovoljno potpore među članicama EU-a za ulazak u Schengenski prostor, kazao je slovenski ministar unutarnjih poslova Aleš Hojs za domaće medije.

Komentirajući sastanak ministara unutarnjih poslova EU-a, održan u petak pod predsjedavanjem Portugala, Hojs je kazao da je na njemu samo uzeta na znanje izjava Europske komisije kako Hrvatska ispunjava tehničke uvjete za Schengen, no da o tome nije bila otvorena rasprava i da osobno ne očekuje da će Portugal do kraja svog mandata predsjedatelja Vijećem EU-a to pitanje opet uvrstiti na dnevni red.

Hrvatska već sada, po njegovim riječima, jako lobira za članstvo i tvrdi da ima sve pod nadzorom, kazao je Hojs, no dodao da sam tako ne misli, premda "ne želi širiti pesimizam", niti ima rezerve prema tome da se to pitanje ponovo otvori u vrijeme slovenskog predsjedanja EU-om u drugoj polovici ove godine.

Slovenija podržava ulazak Hrvatske u Schengen kad ispuni sve uvjete, no premda je Hrvatska u velikoj mjeri otklonila nepravilnosti u kontroli granice teško je prosuđivati o političkoj potpori među članicama, kazao je Hojs, a prenose slovenski mediji.

Prema riječima Hojsa, po neslužbenim je informacijama više članica, među njima Nizozemska i Francuska, koje imaju zadrške glede Hrvatske, vezane na kontrolu granice i postupke prema migrantima.

Premijer Andrej Plenković rekao je u razgovoru za Politico, objavljenom u ponedjeljak, kako je „razumno” očekivati da će Hrvatska ući u eurozonu i šengenski prostor do druge polovice 2024. godine. 

„Ideja je da postignemo oboje, uđemo u Schengen i eurozonu, do kraja mandata ove vlade, dakle do druge polovice 2024.”, rekao je Plenković u razgovoru za Politico koji je vodio tijekom posjeta Bruxellesu u petak. Dodao je da je to težak zadatak, no i razuman rok.

Europska komisija još je 2019. objavila da je Hrvatska ispunila sve tehničke uvjete za ulazak u šengenski prostor, no to još sad moraju prihvatiti i članice, što već niz godina čekaju Rumunjska i Bugarska.

Hrvatska unatoč jakom lobiranju još nema dovoljno potpore među članicama EU-a za ulazak u Schengenski prostor, kazao je slovenski ministar unutarnjih poslova Aleš Hojs za domaće medije.

Komentirajući sastanak ministara unutarnjih poslova EU-a, održan u petak pod predsjedavanjem Portugala, Hojs je kazao da je na njemu samo uzeta na znanje izjava Europske komisije kako Hrvatska ispunjava tehničke uvjete za Schengen, no da o tome nije bila otvorena rasprava i da osobno ne očekuje da će Portugal do kraja svog mandata predsjedatelja Vijećem EU-a to pitanje opet uvrstiti na dnevni red.

Hrvatska već sada, po njegovim riječima, jako lobira za članstvo i tvrdi da ima sve pod nadzorom, kazao je Hojs, no dodao da sam tako ne misli, premda "ne želi širiti pesimizam", niti ima rezerve prema tome da se to pitanje ponovo otvori u vrijeme slovenskog predsjedanja EU-om u drugoj polovici ove godine.

Slovenija podržava ulazak Hrvatske u Schengen kad ispuni sve uvjete, no premda je Hrvatska u velikoj mjeri otklonila nepravilnosti u kontroli granice teško je prosuđivati o političkoj potpori među članicama, kazao je Hojs, a prenose slovenski mediji.

Prema riječima Hojsa, po neslužbenim je informacijama više članica, među njima Nizozemska i Francuska, koje imaju zadrške glede Hrvatske, vezane na kontrolu granice i postupke prema migrantima.

Premijer Andrej Plenković rekao je u razgovoru za Politico, objavljenom u ponedjeljak, kako je „razumno” očekivati da će Hrvatska ući u eurozonu i šengenski prostor do druge polovice 2024. godine. 

„Ideja je da postignemo oboje, uđemo u Schengen i eurozonu, do kraja mandata ove vlade, dakle do druge polovice 2024.”, rekao je Plenković u razgovoru za Politico koji je vodio tijekom posjeta Bruxellesu u petak. Dodao je da je to težak zadatak, no i razuman rok.

Europska komisija još je 2019. objavila da je Hrvatska ispunila sve tehničke uvjete za ulazak u šengenski prostor, no to još sad moraju prihvatiti i članice, što već niz godina čekaju Rumunjska i Bugarska.

Hrvatska unatoč jakom lobiranju još nema dovoljno potpore među članicama EU-a za ulazak u Schengenski prostor, kazao je slovenski ministar unutarnjih poslova Aleš Hojs za domaće medije.

Komentirajući sastanak ministara unutarnjih poslova EU-a, održan u petak pod predsjedavanjem Portugala, Hojs je kazao da je na njemu samo uzeta na znanje izjava Europske komisije kako Hrvatska ispunjava tehničke uvjete za Schengen, no da o tome nije bila otvorena rasprava i da osobno ne očekuje da će Portugal do kraja svog mandata predsjedatelja Vijećem EU-a to pitanje opet uvrstiti na dnevni red.

Hrvatska već sada, po njegovim riječima, jako lobira za članstvo i tvrdi da ima sve pod nadzorom, kazao je Hojs, no dodao da sam tako ne misli, premda "ne želi širiti pesimizam", niti ima...
