Ministarstvo pravosuđa i uprave neće zauvijek moći šutjeti o tome tko stoji iza novog Zakona o izbornim jedinicama, koji su zasad poznati samo kao “stručnjaci iz Ministarstva”. Povjerenik za informiranje podržao je Gongovu žalbu i naložio Ministarstvu da riješi njihov zahtjev u idućih 8 dana.
Preko portala Imamo pravo znati još 26. svibnja Gong je zatražio od ministra Ivana Malenice da odgovori tko stoji iza prijedloga novog modela izbornih jedinica i tko je bio u stručnoj radnoj skupini koja je razmotrila prijedlog, iz čega bi se konačno razjasnilo je li radna skupina uopće sastavljena.
Kako se Ministarstvo oglušilo na upit nevladine udruge, obratili smo se Povjereniku za informiranje koji je podržao našu žalbu.
Uskoro u Hrvatskom saboru slijedi drugo čitanje novog Zakona, budući da odlukom Ustavnog suda trenutni prestaje važiti 1. listopada jer je utvrđeno da nije u skladu s Ustavom.
Netransparentnost izrade zakona na okruglom stolu u Saboru 12. svibnja osudio je ne samo Gong, već i vodeći stručnjaci za ustavno pravo i politolozi. Istog dana 11 profesorica i profesora ustavnoga prava s pravnih fakulteta u Zagrebu, Splitu, Rijeci i Osijeku izrazilo je u otvorenom pismu zabrinutost postupkom izrade novog Zakona o izbornim jedinicama i upozorilo na nužnost poštivanja temeljnih načela i procedura ustavne demokracije.
Gong je višestruko isticao to da se u demokratskim društvima izborni zakoni mijenjaju na uključiv i transparentan način. "Riječ je o temeljnim pravilima političkog natjecanja koja se tiču svih političkih aktera. U doista demokratskim društvima uključivanjem opozicije u izradu izbornih pravila osigurava se povjerenje u izborni proces od strane kandidata i birača, a kroz rasprave vladajućih, opozicije, struke i civilnog društva, nastoje se pronaći najbolja rješenja" poručuju iz Gonga.

Ministarstvo pravosuđa i uprave neće zauvijek moći šutjeti o tome tko stoji iza novog Zakona o izbornim jedinicama, koji su zasad poznati samo kao “stručnjaci iz Ministarstva”. Povjerenik za informiranje podržao je Gongovu žalbu i naložio Ministarstvu da riješi njihov zahtjev u idućih 8 dana.
Preko portala Imamo pravo znati još 26. svibnja Gong je zatražio od ministra Ivana Malenice da odgovori tko stoji iza prijedloga novog modela izbornih jedinica i tko je bio u stručnoj radnoj skupini koja je razmotrila prijedlog, iz čega bi se konačno razjasnilo je li radna skupina uopće sastavljena.
Kako se Ministarstvo oglušilo na upit nevladine udruge, obratili smo se Povjereniku za informiranje koji je podržao našu žalbu.
Uskoro u Hrvatskom saboru slijedi drugo čitanje novog Zakona, budući da odlukom Ustavnog suda trenutni prestaje važiti 1. listopada jer je utvrđeno da nije u skladu s Ustavom.
Netransparentnost izrade zakona na okruglom stolu u Saboru 12. svibnja osudio je ne samo Gong, već i vodeći stručnjaci za ustavno pravo i politolozi. Istog dana 11 profesorica i profesora ustavnoga prava s pravnih fakulteta u Zagrebu, Splitu, Rijeci i Osijeku izrazilo je u otvorenom pismu zabrinutost postupkom izrade novog Zakona o izbornim jedinicama i upozorilo na nužnost poštivanja temeljnih načela i procedura ustavne demokracije.
Gong je višestruko isticao to da se u demokratskim društvima izborni zakoni mijenjaju na uključiv i transparentan način. "Riječ je o temeljnim pravilima političkog natjecanja koja se tiču svih političkih aktera.
