SDP-ova saga sa izborom novoga vodstva bliži se kraju. U subotu će Peđa Grbin i Željko Kolar odmjeriti snage u velikom finalu. Grbin je u prvom krugu bio uvjerljivo bolji. No – tu je Kolar u pravu - drugi je krug neka nova utakmica. A ona će odrediti smjer u kojem će socijaldemokrati krenuti iduće četiri godine.
Nekih velikih svjetonazorskih razlika između dvoje finalista SDP-ovih unutarstranačkih izbora nema. U programski siromašnoj kampanji prevladavala su opća mjesta. Stoga o tome kakav će biti SDP pod Grbinovim, a kakav pod Kolarovim vodstvom možemo zaključivati manje na temelju konkretnih stavki iz programa, a više na temelju onog što su kandidati izjavljivali. U što su se kleli. Što su kritizirali. A na čemu su izbjegavali odgovore.
Ono što se čini prilično jasno je da bi SDP pod Grbinovim vodstvom mogao skrenuti snažnije ulijevo. Bar kada su svjetonazorske teme u pitanju. Ovaj istarski socijaldemokrat čvrsto brani zasade antifašizma. Sa saborske je govornice sa Željkom Markić svojedobno ratovao oko referenduma o braku. Bori se za ravnopravnost LGTB osoba. Bunio se protiv povratka vojske u Pulu. I nikakav, doista nikakav popust nema prema HDZ-u.
Takav Grbinov SDP ima potencijal vratiti dio SDP-ovih birača sa lijevog krila koji su na prošlim izborima glasali za platformu Možemo. Pitanje je velikog umijeća, mudre procjene i dobroga takta pritom ne izgubiti birače na lijevome centru.
Kolar bi u tom smislu više bio čovjek kontinuiteta, ljevičar srednje struje Račanovskog tipa koji vjerojatno ne bi radikalizirao javnost na svjetonazorskim pitanjima. Tijekom kampanje dosta je isticao potrebu povratka radništvu i radničkim pravima. Moguće je da bi to bio SDP-ov forte pod njegovim vodstvom. Pod uvjetom, naravno, da radnici već odavno nisu postali glasači HDZ-a. I da ih je sad prekasno za vratiti.
Oba kandidata dolaze iz sredina u kojima dominiraju lijeve ideje i to bi mogao biti njihov najveći problem. Ni Istra ni Zagorje – Grbinove i Kolarove izborne baze - nisu parametri po kojima se može mjeriti elektabilnost nekoga u Hrvatskoj. To, uostalom, nisu ni sredine u kojima se dobivaju nacionalni izbori. Dobiti birače – ili ih bar ne antagonizirati - u Slavoniji, Lici ili Dalmaciji biti će za obojicu najveći izazov. A ni jedan ni drugi dosad se u tome nisu okušali.
Pitanje je, naravno, i kako će se Grbin i Kolar ponašali na unutarstranačkom polju. Davora Bernardića uvelike je koštala trajna baražna vatra od strane bivših Milanovićevih ministara. Grbin je predvodnik upravo te struje. I sam je bio suspendiran sa stranačkih dužnosti. A idući mjeseci pokazat će kako će se ponašati prema svojim unutarstranačkim protivnicima. Hoće li krenuti u čišćenje ili će ipak napraviti kompromis. Hoće li, primjerice, spriječiti Željka Sabu, SDP-ovca koji je odležao u zatvoru zbog političke korupcije, da se kandidira za gradonačelnika Vukovara. Što će napraviti sa šefovima županijskih i gradskih organizacija koji su do sada bili na Bernardićevoj i Komadininoj strani. A što sa devijacijama na terenu – od primanja Roma, glasačima iz Irske i šalabahterima „zaboravjenima“ da stoje na glasačkim kutijama.
Kolar bi u tom smislu vjerojatno bio pomirljivi. I sam je svoj potpis stavio na zahtjev za Bernardićevu smjenu, a kampanju su mu odradili upravo Bernardićevi ljudi pa bi vjerojatno imao sluha za obje strane. I teško da bi krenuo u unutarstranački obračun.
U srazu sa Andrejem Plenkovićem Grbin bi – ako zbog ničeg drugog onda zbog iskustva u parlamenatrnim klupama – bio znatno bolji od Kolara. Inteligentan, sa dobrom argumentacijom i racionalnim pristupom, Grbin neće biti nimalo lak suparnik Plenkoviću.
No, i Kolar konja za utrku ima. Ako u subotu pobijedi na unutarstranačkim izborima, i ako dovoljno rano istakne nekog drugog za premijerskog kandidata socijaldemokrata – nekog kalibra Zvonimira Mršića, primjerice – Plenković bi se mogao naći u teškoj situaciji. Jer ono u čemu je aktualni premijer vješt su bitke sa političarima opće prakse. Dobiti s druge strane dokazano uspješnog menadžera – i to u vrijeme kada će ekonomska kriza rasti, ne se smanjivati - sasvim je novi izazov.
U kojem bi Plenković tek trebao pokazati da je dorastao.

SDP-ova saga sa izborom novoga vodstva bliži se kraju. U subotu će Peđa Grbin i Željko Kolar odmjeriti snage u velikom finalu. Grbin je u prvom krugu bio uvjerljivo bolji. No – tu je Kolar u pravu - drugi je krug neka nova utakmica. A ona će odrediti smjer u kojem će socijaldemokrati krenuti iduće četiri godine.
Nekih velikih svjetonazorskih razlika između dvoje finalista SDP-ovih unutarstranačkih izbora nema. U programski siromašnoj kampanji prevladavala su opća mjesta. Stoga o tome kakav će biti SDP pod Grbinovim, a kakav pod Kolarovim vodstvom možemo zaključivati manje na temelju konkretnih stavki iz programa, a više na temelju onog što su kandidati izjavljivali. U što su se kleli. Što su kritizirali. A na čemu su izbjegavali odgovore.
Ono što se čini prilično jasno je da bi SDP pod Grbinovim vodstvom mogao skrenuti snažnije ulijevo. Bar kada su svjetonazorske teme u pitanju. Ovaj istarski socijaldemokrat čvrsto brani zasade antifašizma. Sa saborske je govornice sa Željkom Markić svojedobno ratovao oko referenduma o braku. Bori se za ravnopravnost LGTB osoba. Bunio se protiv povratka vojske u Pulu. I nikakav, doista nikakav popust nema prema HDZ-u.
Takav Grbinov SDP ima potencijal vratiti dio SDP-ovih birača sa lijevog krila koji su na prošlim izborima glasali za platformu Možemo. Pitanje je velikog umijeća, mudre procjene i dobroga takta pritom ne izgubiti birače na lijevome centru.
Kolar bi u tom smislu više bio čovjek kontinuiteta, ljevičar srednje struje Račanovskog tipa koji vjerojatno ne bi radikalizirao javnost na svjetonazorskim pitanjima. Tijekom kampanje dosta je isticao potrebu povratka radništvu i radničkim pravima. Moguće je da bi to bio SDP-ov forte pod njegovim vodstvom. Pod uvjetom, naravno, da radnici već odavno nisu postali glasači HDZ-a. I da ih je sad prekasno za vratiti.
Oba kandidata dolaze iz sredina u kojima dominiraju lijeve ideje i to bi mogao biti njihov najveći problem. Ni Istra ni Zagorje – Grbinove i Kolarove izborne baze - nisu parametri po kojima se može mjeriti elektabilnost nekoga u Hrvatskoj. To, uostalom, nisu ni sredine u kojima se dobivaju nacionalni izbori. Dobiti birače – ili ih bar ne antagonizirati - u Slavoniji, Lici ili Dalmaciji biti će za obojicu najveći izazov. A ni jedan ni drugi dosad se u tome nisu okušali.
Pitanje je, naravno, i kako će se Grbin i Kolar ponašali na unutarstranačkom polju. Davora Bernardića uvelike je koštala trajna baražna vatra od strane bivših Milanovićevih ministara. Grbin je predvodnik upravo te struje. I sam je bio suspendiran sa stranačkih dužnosti. A idući mjeseci pokazat će kako će se ponašati prema svojim unutarstranačkim protivnicima. Hoće li krenuti u čišćenje ili će ipak napraviti kompromis. Hoće li, primjerice, spriječiti Željka Sabu, SDP-ovca koji je odležao u zatvoru zbog političke korupcije, da se kandidira za gradonačelnika Vukovara. Što će napraviti sa šefovima županijskih i gradskih organizacija koji su do sada bili na Bernardićevoj i Komadininoj strani. A što sa devijacijama na terenu – od primanja Roma, glasačima iz Irske i šalabahterima „zaboravjenima“ da stoje na glasačkim kutijama.
Kolar bi u tom smislu vjerojatno bio pomirljivi. I sam je svoj potpis stavio na zahtjev za Bernardićevu smjenu, a kampanju su mu odradili upravo Bernardićevi ljudi pa bi vjerojatno imao sluha za obje strane. I teško da bi krenuo u unutarstranački obračun.
U srazu sa Andrejem Plenkovićem Grbin bi – ako zbog ničeg drugog onda zbog iskustva u parlamenatrnim klupama – bio znatno bolji od Kolara. Inteligentan, sa dobrom argumentacijom i racionalnim pristupom, Grbin neće biti nimalo lak suparnik Plenkoviću.
No, i Kolar konja za utrku ima. Ako u subotu pobijedi na unutarstranačkim izborima, i ako dovoljno rano istakne nekog drugog za premijerskog kandidata socijaldemokrata – nekog kalibra Zvonimira Mršića, primjerice – Plenković bi se mogao naći u teškoj situaciji. Jer ono u čemu je aktualni premijer vješt su bitke sa političarima opće prakse. Dobiti s druge strane dokazano uspješnog menadžera – i to u vrijeme kada će ekonomska kriza rasti, ne se smanjivati - sasvim je novi izazov.
U kojem bi Plenković tek trebao pokazati da je dorastao.
