Novi patrijarh srpski Porfirije u subotu je prilikom posjeta potresom pogođenim stanovnicima Banije poručio da nije političar, no da će na novoj dužnosti činiti sve da se „među ljudima otupljuju sve moguće oštrice”.
Bivši mitropolit zagrebačko-ljubljanski u subotu je s episkopom gornjokarlovačkim Gerasimom posjetio Majske Poljane i Glinu, u prvom pastirskom posjetu na dužnosti 46. patrijarha Srpske pravoslavne crkve (SPC) koju je preuzeo sredinom veljače.
„Kad smo zajedno, ništa nije prepreka”, rekao je obitelji Kukoleča, prvoj od pet koje je posjetio u subotu u Majskim Poljanama, a koja od potresa živi u kontejneru.
Obitelj prima devetstotinjak kuna mirovine, uz skromne prihode od proizvodnje kobasica, rekao je Pavle Kukoleča, dodajući kako brine da će iduća zima stići prije dovršetka obnove.
„Znamo da je ovo dosad bila samo prva pomoć, a da tek predstoji da se sve obnovi, tako da- računajte na nas”, kazao je Porfirije, citirajući nedavno preminulog vojvođanskog glazbenika Đorđa Balaševića.
„Država Hrvatska je obnovu sigurno stavila među svoje prioritete, ali i svi ljudi dobre volje”.
Porfirije je u svojoj poruci stanovnicima Banije pogođenima potresom kazao kako je ta tragedija pokazala da su ljudi potrebni jedni drugima.
„Možda Bog ponekad dozvoli iskušenje svima nama da bismo upravo kroz svojevrsnu materijalnu štetu imali mogućnost da probudimo u sebi ono što je ljudsko i da učinimo napor da prevladamo neku svoju skučenost, egoizam i zatvorenost. Da izađemo ususret jedni drugima i da spoznamo da ćemo ujedinjeni lako obnoviti i materijalnu štetu”.
Prilikom posjete patrijarha Mili Bajloviću, čija je kuća također uništena u potresu, Porfiriju se obratio stanovnik Majskih Poljana koji se predstavio kao „hrvatski branitelj” i koji je istaknuo da je sretan kad vidi da je SPC posjetio i pomaže njegovom prijatelju.
Na upit novinara o tome hoće li raditi na poboljšanju političkih odnosa Hrvatske i Srbije, Porfirije je rekao „da on nije političar, ne želi to biti, niti se upletati u političke prostore”, ali da ga Božje evanđelje poziva da čini sve da se „sve moguće oštrice među ljudima otupljuju”.
„Sigurno da moje snage nisu velike, ali ću na svakom planu činiti sve da tako bude među običnim ljudima, među onima na pozicijama, a možda je pretenciozno da kažem takvu riječ, ali i na planu odnosa država”.
„Samo onda kad smo zajedno možemo imati istinsku radost i istinski mir”, naglasio je Porfirije, pa dodao da je zbirku svojih razgovora, parafrazirajući Arsena Dedića, naslovio „Zagreb i ja se volimo javno”.
Porfirije je nakon posjeta banijskim obiteljima stao u bazi Civilne zaštite Lekenik gdje su stigla dva velika i četiri manja kontejnera, donacija SPC-a i srbijanskog veleposlanstva u Zagrebu.
Patrijarh srpski kazao je kako je SPC uz pomoć „svih dobrih ljudi” i grada Beograda osigurao nešto više od stotinu kontejnera, pa najavio da će se pomoći i u obnavljanju kuća.
„Mi ćemo sada ovdje biti više nego je dosad bio slučaj, na to nas obvezuje i novi položaj. Bit ćemo prisutni ne samo molitvom, duhom i dušom, nego i istinski, tjelesno prisutni”, poručio je Porfirije u Majskim Poljanama u kojima je potres odnio pet života.

Novi patrijarh srpski Porfirije u subotu je prilikom posjeta potresom pogođenim stanovnicima Banije poručio da nije političar, no da će na novoj dužnosti činiti sve da se „među ljudima otupljuju sve moguće oštrice”.
Bivši mitropolit zagrebačko-ljubljanski u subotu je s episkopom gornjokarlovačkim Gerasimom posjetio Majske Poljane i Glinu, u prvom pastirskom posjetu na dužnosti 46. patrijarha Srpske pravoslavne crkve (SPC) koju je preuzeo sredinom veljače.
„Kad smo zajedno, ništa nije prepreka”, rekao je obitelji Kukoleča, prvoj od pet koje je posjetio u subotu u Majskim Poljanama, a koja od potresa živi u kontejneru.
Obitelj prima devetstotinjak kuna mirovine, uz skromne prihode od proizvodnje kobasica, rekao je Pavle Kukoleča, dodajući kako brine da će iduća zima stići prije dovršetka obnove.
„Znamo da je ovo dosad bila samo prva pomoć, a da tek predstoji da se sve obnovi, tako da- računajte na nas”, kazao je Porfirije, citirajući nedavno preminulog vojvođanskog glazbenika Đorđa Balaševića.
„Država Hrvatska je obnovu sigurno stavila među svoje prioritete, ali i svi ljudi dobre volje”.
Porfirije je u svojoj poruci stanovnicima Banije pogođenima potresom kazao kako je ta tragedija pokazala da su ljudi potrebni jedni drugima.
„Možda Bog ponekad dozvoli iskušenje svima nama da bismo upravo kroz svojevrsnu materijalnu štetu imali mogućnost da probudimo u sebi ono što je ljudsko i da učinimo napor da prevladamo neku svoju skučenost, egoizam i zatvorenost. Da izađemo ususret jedni drugima i da spoznamo da ćemo ujedinjeni lako obnoviti i materijalnu štetu”.
Prilikom posjete patrijarha Mili Bajloviću, čija je kuća također uništena u potresu, Porfiriju se obratio stanovnik Majskih Poljana koji se predstavio kao „hrvatski branitelj” i koji je istaknuo da je sretan kad vidi da je SPC posjetio i pomaže njegovom prijatelju.
Na upit novinara o tome hoće li raditi na poboljšanju političkih odnosa Hrvatske i Srbije, Porfirije je rekao „da on nije političar, ne želi to biti, niti se upletati u političke prostore”, ali da ga Božje evanđelje poziva da čini sve da se „sve moguće oštrice među ljudima otupljuju”.
„Sigurno da moje snage nisu velike, ali ću na svakom planu činiti sve da tako bude među običnim ljudima, među onima na pozicijama, a možda je pretenciozno da kažem takvu riječ, ali i na planu odnosa država”.
„Samo onda kad smo zajedno možemo imati istinsku radost i istinski mir”, naglasio je Porfirije, pa dodao da je zbirku svojih razgovora, parafrazirajući Arsena Dedića, naslovio „Zagreb i ja se volimo javno”.
Porfirije je nakon posjeta banijskim obiteljima stao u bazi Civilne zaštite Lekenik gdje su stigla dva velika i četiri manja kontejnera, donacija SPC-a i srbijanskog veleposlanstva u Zagrebu.
Patrijarh srpski kazao je kako je SPC uz pomoć „svih dobrih ljudi” i grada Beograda osigurao nešto više od stotinu kontejnera, pa najavio da će se pomoći i u obnavljanju kuća.
„Mi ćemo sada ovdje biti više nego je dosad bio slučaj, na to nas obvezuje i novi položaj. Bit ćemo prisutni ne samo molitvom, duhom i dušom, nego i istinski, tjelesno prisutni”, poručio je Porfirije u Majskim Poljanama u kojima je potres odnio pet života.
