Podvarijanta omikrona BA.2 otkrivena je i u Hrvatskoj.
“Da, u rezultatima sekvenciranja od prošlog tjedna od uzoraka uzetih 2 tjedna ranije, među 800-tinjak detektiranih omikrona bilo ih je 4 te druge varijente”, rekao je Bernard Kaić za N1 i dodao:
“Zasad se ne zna da je opasnija. Postoji naznaka da je malo zaraznija, ali ne bih rekao da je velika razlika. Isto tako, ne izgleda nema utjecaja na efikasnost cijepljenja niti na zaštitu stečenu preboljenjem. Dobro je da izgleda da oni koji su preboljeli standardnu omikron varijantu, da će biti imuni na ovu novu.”
“Ako je zaraznija ova varijanta može preuzeti primat, možda će malo produljiti peti val, ali ne puno”, istaknuo je.
Na pitanje je li ovo vrhunac petog vala, Kaić je rekao:“Sad već vidimo blagi pad novooboljelih i hospitaliziranih, ali prerano je reći da je već počelo padati val. Vjerojatno će ostati na ovoj razini neko vrijeme i onda početi padati.”
Komentirajući zašto još umire toliko ljudi, a radi se o varijanti koja ne izaziva teške kliničke slike, istaknuo je:
“Ne znam. Još uvijek umiru dijelom ljudi koji su bili zaraženi delta varijantom, a omikron sigurno manje izaziva potrebu za hospitalizacijom i ima nižu smrtnost. No novooboljelih je toliko puno više nego prije omikrona da je jednostavno velik broj ukupno zaraženih pa još ne može početi padati broj umrlih.”
Nova pravila o covid potvrdama
O novim pravilima u EU-u vezano uz covid-potvrde i kraću izolaciju, rekao je:
“Što se tiče EU digitalnih potvrda, oni imaju ograničenje 9 mjeseci nakon cijepljenja, nakon preboljenja 6 mjeseci. Ako je netko primio booster ili se cijepio nakon preboljenja, nema ograničenja trajanja potvrde. Što se tiče Hrvatske, pitanje je kad će stupiti na snagu nove preporuke o izolaciji. Ona će i dalje biti 10 dana za blage i srednje kliničke slučajeve za osobe koje nisu cijepljene i 7 dana za osobe koje su ili cijepljene ili preboljele, ali će se moći skratiti 5 dana ako osoba nema barem 24 sata temperaturu, ako su se simptomi smanjili i ako je peti dan negativan brzi antgenski test, onda šesti dan može izaći iz izolacije.”
Pojasnio je kako će osoba odraditi test peti dan ako se na dolazak na testiranje i rezultate čeka i po sedam dana:
“Osoba koja zna da nakon pet dana želi izaći iz izolacije, može se ranije naručiti na brzi test, a zbog ovoga će se morati povećati kapaciteti za brze testove. Bila je ideja uključiti ljekarne da obavljaju brze testove, ali mislim da je zapelo na relaciji Ministarstvo zdravstva – ljekarne.”
“Do ljeta bi mjere mogle biti prošlost”
“Nismo dosegli plafon, ljudi se još cijepe, dnevno ih oko 10 do 15 posto primi prvu dozu”, rekao je o cijepljenju u Hrvatskoj.
Komentirajući vlastitu izjavu da covid-potvrde gube smisao, pojasnio je: “Covid-potvrde u smislu izuzeća od testiranja tamo gdje želimo da se ne unese infekcija, sigurno imaju manje smisla nego ranije jer omikron i kod preboljelih i kod cijepljenih mogu izazvati infekciju i oni mogu biti zarazni. Oni jesu manje i kraće zarazni od cijepljenih osoba, ali želimo li povećati sigurnost, trebali bismo testirati sve.”
“Ako se ne dogodi nova varijanta koja je zaraznija, koja izbjegava imunitet, usudio bih se reći da bi do ljeta mjere i covid-potvrde mogle biti prošlost”, zaključio je Kaić za N1.

Podvarijanta omikrona BA.2 otkrivena je i u Hrvatskoj.
“Da, u rezultatima sekvenciranja od prošlog tjedna od uzoraka uzetih 2 tjedna ranije, među 800-tinjak detektiranih omikrona bilo ih je 4 te druge varijente”, rekao je Bernard Kaić za N1 i dodao:
“Zasad se ne zna da je opasnija. Postoji naznaka da je malo zaraznija, ali ne bih rekao da je velika razlika. Isto tako, ne izgleda nema utjecaja na efikasnost cijepljenja niti na zaštitu stečenu preboljenjem. Dobro je da izgleda da oni koji su preboljeli standardnu omikron varijantu, da će biti imuni na ovu novu.”
“Ako je zaraznija ova varijanta može preuzeti primat, možda će malo produljiti peti val, ali ne puno”, istaknuo je.
Na pitanje je li ovo vrhunac petog vala, Kaić je rekao:“Sad već vidimo blagi pad novooboljelih i hospitaliziranih, ali prerano je reći da je već počelo padati val. Vjerojatno će ostati na ovoj razini neko vrijeme i onda početi padati.”
Komentirajući zašto još umire toliko ljudi, a radi se o varijanti koja ne izaziva teške kliničke slike, istaknuo je:
“Ne znam. Još uvijek umiru dijelom ljudi koji su bili zaraženi delta varijantom, a omikron sigurno manje izaziva potrebu za hospitalizacijom i ima nižu smrtnost. No novooboljelih je toliko puno više nego prije omikrona da je jednostavno velik broj ukupno zaraženih pa još ne može početi padati broj umrlih.”
Nova pravila o covid potvrdama
O novim pravilima u EU-u vezano uz covid-potvrde i kraću izolaciju, rekao je:
“Što se tiče EU digitalnih potvrda, oni imaju ograničenje 9 mjeseci nakon cijepljenja, nakon preboljenja 6 mjeseci. Ako je netko primio booster ili se cijepio nakon preboljenja, nema ograničenja trajanja potvrde. Što se tiče Hrvatske, pitanje je kad će stupiti na snagu nove preporuke o izolaciji. Ona će i dalje biti 10 dana za blage i srednje kliničke slučajeve za osobe koje nisu cijepljene i 7 dana za osobe koje su ili cijepljene ili preboljele, ali će se moći skratiti 5 dana ako osoba nema barem 24 sata temperaturu, ako su se simptomi smanjili i ako je peti dan negativan brzi antgenski test, onda šesti dan može izaći iz izolacije.”
Pojasnio je kako će osoba odraditi test peti dan ako se na dolazak na testiranje i rezultate čeka i po sedam dana:
“Osoba koja zna da nakon pet dana želi izaći iz izolacije, može se ranije naručiti na brzi test, a zbog ovoga će se morati povećati kapaciteti za brze testove. Bila je ideja uključiti ljekarne da obavljaju brze testove, ali mislim da je zapelo na relaciji Ministarstvo zdravstva – ljekarne.”
“Do ljeta bi mjere mogle biti prošlost”
“Nismo dosegli plafon, ljudi se još cijepe, dnevno ih oko 10 do 15 posto primi prvu dozu”, rekao je o cijepljenju u Hrvatskoj.
Komentirajući vlastitu izjavu da covid-potvrde gube smisao, pojasnio je: “Covid-potvrde u smislu izuzeća od testiranja tamo gdje želimo da se ne unese infekcija, sigurno imaju manje smisla nego ranije jer omikron i kod preboljelih i kod cijepljenih mogu izazvati infekciju i oni mogu biti zarazni. Oni jesu manje i kraće zarazni od cijepljenih osoba, ali želimo li povećati sigurnost, trebali bismo testirati sve.”
“Ako se ne dogodi nova varijanta koja je zaraznija, koja izbjegava imunitet, usudio bih se reći da bi do ljeta mjere i covid-potvrde mogle biti prošlost”, zaključio je Kaić za N1.
