Nakon što je Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija primijetila porast slučajeva neobičnog hepatitisa kod djece, o neobičnoj bolesti koju istražuju znanstvenici širom svijeta, o situaciji u Hrvatskoj, ali i stanju s koronavirusom, novinari N1 televizije razgovarali su s epidemiologom Bernardom Kaićem.

“Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija primijetila je porast slučajeva neobičnog hepatitisa kod djece. Još prije nego što je WHO o tome pisala, vijest se počela širiti putem Europskog centra za sprečavanje bolesti. Najprije su u Velikoj Britaniji uočili povećan broj djece s hepatitisom koji nije uzrokovan uobičajenim virusima koji izazivaju ovu bolest. Oni su nakon toga alarmirali svijet, a onda je ista stvar otkrivena u još nekoliko zemalja EU-a, Kanadi, SAD-u, Izraelu, Japanu…

Većina zemalja ranije nije aktivno pratila ovakve slučajeve. Sad se oni aktivno traže pa u nekim zemljama i nisu sigurni da se zapravo radi o povećanju broja djece s netipičnim upalama jetre. Tamo gdje se sa sigurnošću zna da je u pitanju povećan broj slučajeva su Danska i Velika Britanija u kojima se ranije pratila situacija i oni su sigurni da je broj veći od uobičajenog.

Uzrok nije poznat, a ovo stanje zove se akutni hepatitis, iako nije uzrokovan uobičajenim virusima hepatitisa. Još uvijek se ne na što ga uzrokuje i na traženju uzroka se aktivno radi. Istraživači misle da bi u pitanju mogla biti infekcija, a možda i neki oblik trovanja. Za sad se ne može reći što je uzrok, a ne zna se ni na koji način se bolest prenosi”, rekao je za N1 epidemiolog Kaić.

On kaže da to najvjerojatnije nema nikakve veze s cijepljenjem, "jer su većina oboljelih mala djeca ispod deset godina, među kojima je praktički jako malo cijepljenih protiv covida"

"Naravno, nitko od njih nema hepatitis B protiv kojeg se cijepi, nema ni hepatitis A. Sad, jesu li djeca cijepljena protiv hepatitisa B i ta djeca koja su oboljela, to se praktički ne gleda jer su sva ta djeca cijepljena protiv hepatitisa kao i većina svih ostalih koji su zdravi".

Evo i koji su simptomi znak za oprez! 

" Kod većine djece je počelo proljevima, povraćanjiima, mučninom, a onda je napredovalo u zatajenje jetre što se očituje pogrošanjem proljeva, mučnine, žuticom, promjenom boje stolice, mokraće. Kod nekoliko djece je čak došlo do akutnog zatajenja jetre tako da smo morali transplatirati jetru. Ali to je stvarno jako neuobičajeno za dječju dob. Mislim, s obzirom na težinu kliničke slike koja se javila kod neke djece, najlogičnije bi bilo da se radi o nekom trovanju, ali nije još uvijek identificirano koje bi to trovanje bilo.

Na pitanje je li do sada bilo takvih slučajeva u Hrvatskoj, dr. Kaić odgovara:

"Za sada nema prijavljenih slučajeva u Hrvatskoj, ali smo obavijestili i kliničare o tome. Imali smo dojave za razmatranje kod dvije djevojke koje su bile malo starije. Dakle, 17 godina su imale pa zapravo ne bi pripadale u tu definiciju, ali one na kraju imaju hepatitis A. Mi trenutačno u Zagrebu i zagrebačkoj županiji imamo epidemiju hepatitisa A, ali to nema veze s ovim apsolutno. Apsolutno nikakve veze. Za jedno dijete imamo sumnje da bi se moglo razmatrati bi li moglo spadati u ovu grupu, ali izgleda da ne, jer se radi o nekoj drugoj metaboličkoj bolesti", kazao je dr. Kaić u programu N1 televizije.

Nakon što je Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija primijetila porast slučajeva neobičnog hepatitisa kod djece, o neobičnoj bolesti koju istražuju znanstvenici širom svijeta, o situaciji u Hrvatskoj, ali i stanju s koronavirusom, novinari N1 televizije razgovarali su s epidemiologom Bernardom Kaićem.

“Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija primijetila je porast slučajeva neobičnog hepatitisa kod djece. Još prije nego što je WHO o tome pisala, vijest se počela širiti putem Europskog centra za sprečavanje bolesti. Najprije su u Velikoj Britaniji uočili povećan broj djece s hepatitisom koji nije uzrokovan uobičajenim virusima koji izazivaju ovu bolest. Oni su nakon toga alarmirali svijet, a onda je ista stvar otkrivena u još nekoliko zemalja EU-a, Kanadi, SAD-u, Izraelu, Japanu…

Većina zemalja ranije nije aktivno pratila ovakve slučajeve. Sad se oni aktivno traže pa u nekim zemljama i nisu sigurni da se zapravo radi o povećanju broja djece s netipičnim upalama jetre. Tamo gdje se sa sigurnošću zna da je u pitanju povećan broj slučajeva su Danska i Velika Britanija u kojima se ranije pratila situacija i oni su sigurni da je broj veći od uobičajenog.

Uzrok nije poznat, a ovo stanje zove se akutni hepatitis, iako nije uzrokovan uobičajenim virusima hepatitisa. Još uvijek se ne na što ga uzrokuje i na traženju uzroka se aktivno radi. Istraživači misle da bi u pitanju mogla biti infekcija, a možda i neki oblik trovanja. Za sad se ne može reći što je uzrok, a ne zna se ni na koji način se bolest prenosi”, rekao je za N1 epidemiolog Kaić.

On kaže da to najvjerojatnije nema nikakve veze s cijepljenjem, "jer su većina oboljelih mala djeca ispod deset godina, među kojima je praktički jako malo cijepljenih protiv covida"

"Naravno, nitko od njih nema hepatitis B protiv kojeg se cijepi, nema ni hepatitis A. Sad, jesu li djeca cijepljena protiv hepatitisa B i ta djeca koja su oboljela, to se praktički ne gleda jer su sva ta djeca cijepljena protiv hepatitisa kao i većina svih ostalih koji su zdravi".

Evo i koji su simptomi znak za oprez! 

" Kod većine djece je počelo proljevima, povraćanjiima, mučninom, a onda je napredovalo u zatajenje jetre što se očituje pogrošanjem proljeva, mučnine, žuticom, promjenom boje stolice, mokraće. Kod nekoliko djece je čak došlo do akutnog zatajenja jetre tako da smo morali transplatirati jetru. Ali to je stvarno jako neuobičajeno za dječju dob. Mislim, s obzirom na težinu kliničke slike koja se javila kod neke djece, najlogičnije bi bilo da se radi o nekom trovanju, ali nije još uvijek identificirano koje bi to trovanje bilo.

Na pitanje je li do sada bilo takvih slučajeva u Hrvatskoj, dr. Kaić odgovara:

"Za sada nema prijavljenih slučajeva u Hrvatskoj, ali smo obavijestili i kliničare o tome. Imali smo dojave za razmatranje kod dvije djevojke koje su bile malo starije. Dakle, 17 godina su imale pa zapravo ne bi pripadale u tu definiciju, ali one na kraju imaju hepatitis A. Mi trenutačno u Zagrebu i zagrebačkoj županiji imamo epidemiju hepatitisa A, ali to nema veze s ovim apsolutno. Apsolutno nikakve veze. Za jedno dijete imamo sumnje da bi se moglo razmatrati bi li moglo spadati u ovu grupu, ali izgleda da ne, jer se radi o nekoj drugoj metaboličkoj bolesti", kazao je dr. Kaić u programu N1 televizije.
