Epidemiolog i član Znanstvenog savjeta Vlade prof.dr. Ozren Polašek s Medicinskog fakulteta u Splitu za RTL Direkt komentirao je situaciju vezanu uz pad broja novozaraženih. I dok jedni u tome vide učinkovitost mjera koje su stupile na snagu 28. studenog, dok drugi smatraju da to nema veze s mjerama nego s prokuženošću
"Definitivno uvijek treba slušati i jednu i drugu stranu. Prokuženost je važna, ali u ovom trenutku vjerojatno ne bi mogla napraviti ovako brzi pad epidemije jer vidimo za gotovo 90 posto se smanjio broj od najvećeg broja dnevno zaraženih. Prokuženost bi nam dala mirniji, linearni pad. Ovo je vjerojatno rezultat mjera", rekao je Polašek.
Tvrdnje da je prokuženost stanovništva dosegla čak 30 do 40 posto stanovništva, dr. Polašek ovako komentira:
"Nemamo zasad istraživanje iz Hrvatske koje bi to moglo reći točnu brojku, ovo se temelji na drugih državama. Nije uvijek metodološki ispravno uzimati podatke drugih država. Ponavljam, prokuženost je važna, međutim prirodni način stjecanja prokuženosti je ovo što imamo sada: 4000 mrtvih i zagušenje zdravstvenog sustava. Da smo imali cjepivo na samom početku epidemije, toga ne bi bilo", poručio je Polašek.
Komentirao je i dokument svojih kolega pod nazivom "pandemijski realizam".
"Svi članovi Znanstvenog savjeta su na neki način pobornici želja da se lockdown što prije prekine, međutim ideja je naći ravnotežu mjera koje sprečavaju širenje bolesti nekontrolirano, ali opet da nas ne koče u svakodnevnim aktivnostima. To je motiv svih nas, ali malo se razlikujemo u načinu kako bi to napravili", izjavio je Polašek i dodao:
"Iz jednog ekstrema idemo u drugi. Definitivno je manji broj testiranja bio malo podloga za ovo, ali opet svi pokazatelji epidemije se smanjuju. Ovo su zasigurno bili najčudniji blagdani i moram zahvaliti građanima Hrvatske jer su nas dobrim dijelom poslušali da pokušamo obuzdati epidemiju", rekao je Polašek.
Nove informacije od Stožera su da će mjere početi popuštati kada prosječan dnevni broj novozaraženih bude ispod 300...
"Apsolutno. To je vrlo mjerljiv cilj koji je donesen međunarodnim konsenzusom i to će biti jako važno i za transport i konačno turizam. To je vrlo zanimljiv cilj. Ideal bi bio nula, ali moramo se postaviti prema epidemiji pa potpuno pozdravljam ovakav numerički cilj", poručio je Polašek.
Pojasnio je i treba li strahovati od novog soja koronavirusa.
"Taj soj se širi, ali se već dosta proširio po Europi. Ne bih rekao da nam treba strah jer nam on nikako ne može pomoći, ali treba nam pojačani oprez od strane sustava, iako se zasad čini da stvari držimo koliko toliko pod kontrolom. Tako da ja u ovom trenutku ne bih zagovarao snažnije mjere. Trebamo vidjeti koliko će se taj soj dalje širiti. Preliminarni rezultati govore da bi postojeća cjepiva trebala štititi i od njega i on konceptualno ne bi trebao postavljati veliki problem", izjavio je Polašek i dodao:
"Ako se ovakav trend nastavi, 1. veljače ćemo vrlo vjerojatno biti ispod 300 zaraženih dnevno".

Epidemiolog i član Znanstvenog savjeta Vlade prof.dr. Ozren Polašek s Medicinskog fakulteta u Splitu za RTL Direkt komentirao je situaciju vezanu uz pad broja novozaraženih. I dok jedni u tome vide učinkovitost mjera koje su stupile na snagu 28. studenog, dok drugi smatraju da to nema veze s mjerama nego s prokuženošću
"Definitivno uvijek treba slušati i jednu i drugu stranu. Prokuženost je važna, ali u ovom trenutku vjerojatno ne bi mogla napraviti ovako brzi pad epidemije jer vidimo za gotovo 90 posto se smanjio broj od najvećeg broja dnevno zaraženih. Prokuženost bi nam dala mirniji, linearni pad. Ovo je vjerojatno rezultat mjera", rekao je Polašek.
Tvrdnje da je prokuženost stanovništva dosegla čak 30 do 40 posto stanovništva, dr. Polašek ovako komentira:
"Nemamo zasad istraživanje iz Hrvatske koje bi to moglo reći točnu brojku, ovo se temelji na drugih državama. Nije uvijek metodološki ispravno uzimati podatke drugih država. Ponavljam, prokuženost je važna, međutim prirodni način stjecanja prokuženosti je ovo što imamo sada: 4000 mrtvih i zagušenje zdravstvenog sustava. Da smo imali cjepivo na samom početku epidemije, toga ne bi bilo", poručio je Polašek.
Komentirao je i dokument svojih kolega pod nazivom "pandemijski realizam".
"Svi članovi Znanstvenog savjeta su na neki način pobornici želja da se lockdown što prije prekine, međutim ideja je naći ravnotežu mjera koje sprečavaju širenje bolesti nekontrolirano, ali opet da nas ne koče u svakodnevnim aktivnostima. To je motiv svih nas, ali malo se razlikujemo u načinu kako bi to napravili", izjavio je Polašek i dodao:
"Iz jednog ekstrema idemo u drugi. Definitivno je manji broj testiranja bio malo podloga za ovo, ali opet svi pokazatelji epidemije se smanjuju. Ovo su zasigurno bili najčudniji blagdani i moram zahvaliti građanima Hrvatske jer su nas dobrim dijelom poslušali da pokušamo obuzdati epidemiju", rekao je Polašek.
Nove informacije od Stožera su da će mjere početi popuštati kada prosječan dnevni broj novozaraženih bude ispod 300...
"Apsolutno. To je vrlo mjerljiv cilj koji je donesen međunarodnim konsenzusom i to će biti jako važno i za transport i konačno turizam. To je vrlo zanimljiv cilj. Ideal bi bio nula, ali moramo se postaviti prema epidemiji pa potpuno pozdravljam ovakav numerički cilj", poručio je Polašek.
Pojasnio je i treba li strahovati od novog soja koronavirusa.
"Taj soj se širi, ali se već dosta proširio po Europi. Ne bih rekao da nam treba strah jer nam on nikako ne može pomoći, ali treba nam pojačani oprez od strane sustava, iako se zasad čini da stvari držimo koliko toliko pod kontrolom. Tako da ja u ovom trenutku ne bih zagovarao snažnije mjere. Trebamo vidjeti koliko će se taj soj dalje širiti. Preliminarni rezultati govore da bi postojeća cjepiva trebala štititi i od njega i on konceptualno ne bi trebao postavljati veliki problem", izjavio je Polašek i dodao:
"Ako se ovakav trend nastavi, 1. veljače ćemo vrlo vjerojatno biti ispod 300 zaraženih dnevno".
