Vražji je taj kut gledanja. Uspoređujemo li se s državama EU-a, među najgorima smo: u razredu s lošim đacima - Bugarima, Rumunjima, Litvom i Latvijom; državama koje su nam, dok je Hrvatska bila dio Jugoslavije, gledali u leđa. No, kad se povuče paralela između Hrvatske i istočnih susjeda, razlike su očite. I ovakva Hrvatska, s dna EU kace, postala je bogati Zapad za Bosnu i Hercegovinu, Srbiju, Sjevernu Makedoniju i Kosovo, Crnu Goru, Albaniju.

Ne govore to samo statistički podaci o visini BDP-a ili kupovnoj moći građana, vidi se to i golim okom prelaskom granice na Bajakovu, Kamenskom ili Debelom brijegu. U Hrvatskoj, siromašnoj članici EU-a, živi se kudikamo bolje nego u svakim jadom pritisnutom susjedstvu.

I dok je u "komšija" glavna tema nezaposlenost, u nas je to nedostatak radne snage; dok Srbi, Bosanci ili Makedonci govore o mizernim plaćama, ovdje se taj isti problem sveo na to kako radnu snagu platiti više da nam je ne bi oteli Irci, Nijemci, Austrijanci ili Šveđani.

Europska unija je malu, neorganiziranu, tromu i nekonkurentnu ekonomiju poput hrvatske, zaštitila već u dvije velike krize: onoj gospodarskoj 2008. godine, koja je nastala kao posljedica sloma newyorške burze i tržišta nekretnina, i ovoj koju je skrivila pandemija koronavirusa.

Bez obzira što u vrijeme recesije još nismo formalno bili u EU-u, kroz pretpristupne fondove i povoljnije kreditiranje Bruxelles je u Hrvatskoj spašavao što se spasiti da, a da bi u službenom Zagrebu dobio vjernog saveznika na trusnom jugoistoku Europe.

U pandemiji, bez doznaka iz zajedničke blagajne, kržljava i o turizmu bolesno ovisna domaća ekonomija potpuno bi krahirala. Ovako su iz EU-a, čitaj; Njemačke i Francuske, doznačili siromašnoj mediteranskoj državici novac kako bi držala glavu iznad vode, a mi u znak zahvalnosti tom istom glavom kimamo na sve njihove odluke. Nema dištonavanja kao u Mađarskoj ili Poljskoj; Vlada se drži pravca koji je trasiran na bruxelleskim sastancima kao pijan plota, a ništa joj drugo u ovoj situaciji i odnosu snaga ni ne preostaje.

Naime, svjesni su koliko je bilo i koliko nam je lakše plivati kroz pandemiju i sve nevolje koje su s njom doplovile uz pojas koji nam je bacio EU, nego bez njega. Dovoljno je pogledati preko plota, vidjeti što se događa u BiH i Srbiji, Crnoj Gori, da bi nam bilo jasno zašto u posljednje vrijeme zemlje zapadnog Balkana očajnički vape za pomoći i upozoravaju Zapad kako je krajnje vrijeme da ih se sve u paketu primi u EU. 

U globaliziranom svijetu teško je, da ne napišem nemoguće - preživjeti sam: izvan blokova i moćnih gospodarskih saveza. Prava utakmica odvija se između SAD-a, Kine i EU-a, pa su europskim državama, koje ne pripadaju Uniji, ostavljene tek mrvice. A od mrvica se ne da ni (pre)živjeti.

Kad vidimo s kojim se sve nedaćama susrela jedna Velika Britanija nakon izlaska iz EU-a, a one se praktički redaju iz mjeseca u mjesec, jasno je zašto je i dalje puno više onih koji bi pristupili ovom gospodarskom i političkom savezu nego što bi ga napustili.

U svakom slučaju, Hrvatska je od EU-a do sada imala samo koristi. Turizam nam od 2013. strelovito raste zbog činjenice da smo postali zemljom članicom, a kad postanemo dio Schengenskog režima, a taj dan nije daleko, dobit će novi zamah. Putovanje bez putovnica i brklji na Jadran dovest će prvi put u Hrvatsku milijune novih turista.

O EU fondovima da ne govorimo. Predsjednik Milanović jučer je poručio da u tom smislu budemo pohlepni i stalno tražimo više. Novca u fondovima ima, na raspolaganju su milijarde; međutim, nedovoljno smo angažirani, nedostaje nam poslovne inicijative i ideja, da bismo, poput Poljaka, primjerice, povukli sredstva u tolikoj mjeri da će ona utjecati na porast životnog standarda svih građana; zaposlenih i umirovljenika.

Ukratko; mi smo "unutra" i sve je na nama. Ne iskoristimo li šanse koje naši istočni susjedi nemaju, pa se suočavaju s puno težim problemima nego Hrvatska - sami smo krivi. Tko nas šiša.

Vražji je taj kut gledanja. Uspoređujemo li se s državama EU-a, među najgorima smo: u razredu s lošim đacima - Bugarima, Rumunjima, Litvom i Latvijom; državama koje su nam, dok je Hrvatska bila dio Jugoslavije, gledali u leđa. No, kad se povuče paralela između Hrvatske i istočnih susjeda, razlike su očite. I ovakva Hrvatska, s dna EU kace, postala je bogati Zapad za Bosnu i Hercegovinu, Srbiju, Sjevernu Makedoniju i Kosovo, Crnu Goru, Albaniju.

Ne govore to samo statistički podaci o visini BDP-a ili kupovnoj moći građana, vidi se to i golim okom prelaskom granice na Bajakovu, Kamenskom ili Debelom brijegu. U Hrvatskoj, siromašnoj članici EU-a, živi se kudikamo bolje nego u svakim jadom pritisnutom susjedstvu.

I dok je u "komšija" glavna tema nezaposlenost, u nas je to nedostatak radne snage; dok Srbi, Bosanci ili Makedonci govore o mizernim plaćama, ovdje se taj isti problem sveo na to kako radnu snagu platiti više da nam je ne bi oteli Irci, Nijemci, Austrijanci ili Šveđani.

Europska unija je malu, neorganiziranu, tromu i nekonkurentnu ekonomiju poput hrvatske, zaštitila već u dvije velike krize: onoj gospodarskoj 2008. godine, koja je nastala kao posljedica sloma newyorške burze i tržišta nekretnina, i ovoj koju je skrivila pandemija koronavirusa.

Bez obzira što u vrijeme recesije još nismo formalno bili u EU-u, kroz pretpristupne fondove i povoljnije kreditiranje Bruxelles je u Hrvatskoj spašavao što se spasiti da, a da bi u službenom Zagrebu dobio vjernog saveznika na trusnom jugoistoku Europe.

U pandemiji, bez doznaka iz zajedničke blagajne, kržljava i o turizmu bolesno ovisna domaća ekonomija potpuno bi krahirala. Ovako su iz EU-a, čitaj; Njemačke i Francuske, doznačili siromašnoj mediteranskoj državici novac kako bi držala glavu iznad vode, a mi u znak zahvalnosti tom istom glavom kimamo na sve njihove odluke. Nema dištonavanja kao u Mađarskoj ili Poljskoj; Vlada se drži pravca koji je trasiran na bruxelleskim sastancima kao pijan plota, a ništa joj drugo u ovoj situaciji i odnosu snaga ni ne preostaje.

Naime, svjesni su koliko je bilo i koliko nam je lakše plivati kroz pandemiju i sve nevolje koje su s njom doplovile uz pojas koji nam je bacio EU, nego bez njega. Dovoljno je pogledati preko plota, vidjeti što se događa u BiH i Srbiji, Crnoj Gori, da bi nam bilo jasno zašto u posljednje vrijeme zemlje zapadnog Balkana očajnički vape za pomoći i upozoravaju Zapad kako je krajnje vrijeme da ih se sve u paketu primi u EU. 

U globaliziranom svijetu teško je, da ne napišem nemoguće - preživjeti sam: izvan blokova i moćnih gospodarskih saveza. Prava utakmica odvija se između SAD-a, Kine i EU-a, pa su europskim državama, koje ne pripadaju Uniji, ostavljene tek mrvice. A od mrvica se ne da ni (pre)živjeti.

Kad vidimo s kojim se sve nedaćama susrela jedna Velika Britanija nakon izlaska iz EU-a, a one se praktički redaju iz mjeseca u mjesec, jasno je zašto je i dalje puno više onih koji bi pristupili ovom gospodarskom i političkom savezu nego što bi ga napustili.

U svakom slučaju, Hrvatska je od EU-a do sada imala samo koristi. Turizam nam od 2013. strelovito raste zbog činjenice da smo postali zemljom članicom, a kad postanemo dio Schengenskog režima, a taj dan nije daleko, dobit će novi zamah. Putovanje bez putovnica i brklji na Jadran dovest će prvi put u Hrvatsku milijune novih turista.

O EU fondovima da ne govorimo. Predsjednik Milanović jučer je poručio da u tom smislu budemo pohlepni i stalno tražimo više. Novca u fondovima ima, na raspolaganju su milijarde; međutim, nedovoljno smo angažirani, nedostaje nam poslovne inicijative i ideja, da bismo, poput Poljaka, primjerice, povukli sredstva u tolikoj mjeri da će ona utjecati na porast životnog standarda svih građana; zaposlenih i umirovljenika.

Ukratko; mi smo "unutra" i sve je na nama. Ne iskoristimo li šanse koje naši istočni susjedi nemaju, pa se suočavaju s puno težim problemima nego Hrvatska - sami smo krivi. Tko nas šiša.

Bez EU-a, Hrvatska bi potonula u moru nezaposlenosti, a koronakriza odvela bi je u bankrot. Kod ‘komšija‘ su problemi teži, vidi se to golim okom...

Vražji je taj kut gledanja. Uspoređujemo li se s državama EU-a, među najgorima smo: u razredu s lošim đacima - Bugarima, Rumunjima, Litvom i Latvijom; državama koje su nam, dok je Hrvatska bila dio Jugoslavije, gledali u leđa. No, kad se povuče paralela između Hrvatske i istočnih susjeda, razlike su očite. I ovakva Hrvatska, s dna EU kace, postala je bogati Zapad za Bosnu i Hercegovinu, Srbiju, Sjevernu Makedoniju i Kosovo, Crnu Goru, Albaniju.

Ne govore to samo statistički podaci o visini BDP-a ili kupovnoj moći građana, vidi se to i golim okom prelaskom granice na Bajakovu, Kamenskom ili Debelom brijegu. U Hrvatskoj, siromašnoj članici EU-a, živi se kudikamo bolje nego u svakim jadom pritisnutom susjedstvu.

I dok je u "komšija" glavna tema nezaposlenost, u nas...
